Secluded Lodge on Webb Lake - Private Tennis Court, Hot Tub

Enjoy peaceful seclusion only two hours northeast of the Twin Cities. This private, 4000-square-foot home is ideally located on 30 wooded acres - birch and pine - with over 500 feet of lakeshore. The property features a private tennis court - with a practice backboard and two basketball hoops - nestled in the woods. Built in the 1940s, the home reflects the character of its surroundings with pine floors, wood-paneled walls, and lots of windows.

Webb Lake is a clean, 790-acre lake ideal for fishing, swimming, and boating. When you are not on the lake, enjoy a game of tennis, horseshoes, or pool - or a walk on the one-half mile driveway. At the end of the day, relax in the hot tub, on the large deck, or in the screened-in porch. In the winter, enjoy cross-country skiing, ice fishing, and snowmobiling.

The cabin is just minutes away from golf, ski trails, restaurants, casinos - and canoeing/kayaking/fly fishing on the beautiful Namekagon or Saint Croix Rivers. Slightly longer ventures are Hayward, Wisconsin - 40 miles, Lake Superior - 60 miles, and Bayfield/Madeline Island - 115 miles.

With four large bedrooms, each with its own private bath, this home can easily accommodate several families - with beds for15 guests.

Perfect Place in the Woods

We stayed here for a family girls weekend and the lodge was perfect. We enjoyed the large outside deck, the sauna, hot tub, and the beautiful lake for kayaking. Plenty of space for us to do crafts and games, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Highly recommend the lodge!

Perfect getaway

Our family had an amazing time at this cabin. Plenty of space for our large group to spread out, with each bedroom having its own private bathroom. The cabin was rustic and cozy. The deck was huge, the hot tub was relaxing, and the lake/beach/boat were all a huge hit. Our group also spent a good many hours at the tennis court. Overall couldn’t recommend it enough.

My kids and grandkids loved the tennis courts, where they alternately played pickle ball and garbage can golf. We rented a pontoon to enjoy touring the lake, fishing, and visiting the sandbar where they could swim and float about. As for me the 88 year old grandparent, they spent a lot of time playing board games with me, my ulterior motive for getting them all together. This is our second visit to Rocky's property. As a host he is top notch, checking in to make sure everything is to our satisfaction. The place is beautiful and large enough for my family. The well equipped kitchen, large dining table, and bathrooms for every bedroom made our stay perfect for my family of adults.

Fantastic spacious home

Our family of 10, ages 2 to 63 enjoyed this wonderful home on the lake. Pros include spacious living area, large kitchen with 2 big tables where we could have buffet style meals, bathroom for every bedroom, tennis court, no neighbors for our dogs to be off leash, so few bugs to enjoy outdoors, and hot tub. We will return!

The best place ever.

Of all the vacation rentals we ever have stayed at, this is by far our favorite place. We have stayed here many times and plan to continue to come back. The house sits on wooded acres with no immediate neighbors.....very private. The house is very spacious with 4 huge private bedrooms, each with a bathroom/shower. The kitchen is well stocked with any cooking supplies, there is a huge deck overlooking the lake, and a really nice screened in porch. Great living room/large dining area, great for large families. We caught many fish (panfish and bass) and enjoyed boating on the water. The beach area is wonderful for our grandkids (ages 2-7) and they had ample room to play in the shallow water that extends to the end of the dock. Rocky is an excellent host and so receptive to any needs or questions.. You couldn't find a better place to stay.

The Perfect Group Getaway!

We loved staying at Rocky & Jenny's place! The pictures do not do this place justice - it is HUGE. Tons of space to spread out as a group. Everyone had their own bathroom, kitchen was packed with everything you need. They have thought of everything and this place is sure to please any group.

Great Family Spot

This was a perfect place to celebrate Christmas with our extended family. Lots of space for each family to have their own room and plenty of beds for everyone. The house had all the amenities we needed and then some. Rocky was always quick to respond to questions and very helpful. We’re hoping we can check the property out for a stay in the summer!
