Third row with magnificent ocean and sound views and very easy beach access. Closer to ocean than many second row homes on the island with less than 2 minute walk to the sand. Sound access also available for kayaks and paddle boards. Located in the middle of the island, our Fantasea cottage is conveniently located in a quiet area and allows you to explore shopping areas, restaurants and entertainment at either end of the island from Emerald Isle to Atlantic Beach. We are 5 miles from the NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores. Enjoy the biking and walking path provided by the Town of Emerald Isle that runs the length of the Town. Enjoy ocean views and breezes from the decks or relax on the sandy beach just steps away. Cottage is 4 BR, 2 B. Q * Q * 2S * D* and D futon. Bed linens, bath and kitchen towels and cleaning provided. Futon is located in the cupola with panoramic views. Dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, 4 color cable TVs, 2 DVD players, CD player, ceiling fans, Wi-Fi, beach chairs, gas grill. Covered deck with furniture, enclosed hot/cold outside shower. Weekly 5-7 night stays only, No discounts offered. No smoking. No pets or animals allowed on premises. No parties/events or groups. Corner of 10th Street and Emerald Drive.

Second time staying at the property and it three years later it remains a very, very pleasant place to stay. Easy access to the beach, good accommodations in the house, excellent porch and top deck. Look forward to staying there again.

Fabulous stay at Fantasea!!

This location was perfection!! Close, easy walk to the beach, well stocked kitchen to prepare meals and plenty of room for our family to spread out. The boys loved the hammock and views from the cupola. We will definitely try and return in the future.

Enjoyed our stay at Fantasea

We really enjoyed our vacation. The owners were very responsive and helpful. The house was perfect. We especially loved the short walk to the beach, the outdoor shower, and the hammock on the wrap-around deck. We'll definitely be back.

Great House!

We have stayed here twice now with our large family. The front porch has a great view of the ocean, and the beach access is so close that it was easy to go back and forth throughout the day (essential for small children). The 3rd room is 360 degrees of windows, and our teens loved it as a bedroom and hangout during a brief storm. The layout of the house and proximity to the beach make this the perfect beach house for us. Overall, we highly recommend Fantasea and expect we'll be returning here again.

Public beach access a 2 minute walk away. On the very narrow stretch of the island which we like. Close enough to stores, restaurants etc but not so close there is a lot of traffic. Does back up to the main road but unless an emergency vehicle went by you don't notice it. House is dated. Mostly late 80s early 90s for decor. Mostly lower rating due to an e-mail I received right after leaving claiming we broke the blinds and hose nozzle. We had opened blinds and didn't shut them before we left and they sent what came across as an aggressive e-mail asking what happened. All I know was I opened them for my daughter and didn't think to shut them. They are cheaper and older blinds, but perfectly fine. If they broke it was likely due to their age. The hose nozzle was broke when we got there but I screwed it back together and it worked fine while we were there. Just struck me as an out to get the renters e-mail when clearly things are very dated. Overall 4 for the stay, 2 for the e-mail after. Won't go back.

This was an excellent trip considering all the rain. The house accommodated our group well. The bedrooms were comfortable, the kitchen sufficient for cooking meals, the walk to the beach was fine, the view of the ocean from the deck was great, the view from the 3rd floor bedroom was spectacular, the outside shower was perfect for getting rid of sand after the beach, the wifi worked well, the hammock was great for lounging on the deck, the air conditioner worked well, the parking was adequate, the access to the greenway was great and the deck was large enough to accommodate everyone, including an afternoon socially distanced visit by elderly in-laws. The only disappointment was the hot water heater. Upon reporting the problem, the owner promptly came to the house and attempted a repair that did not quite get the water heater working to regular capacity. Kudos to the owner for immediate service and trying to remedy the situation. I am sure this problem was fixed after we left and a more thorough repair/replacement could occur between renters.

Our Happy Place

This was our fifth stay at Fantasea. It’s a family tradition that I hope we will carry on for many more years. Our biggest love is probably the porch, although we love so much about this house.. We love the kitchen space where we all get the touch elbows. We love that the kitchen intricately holds everything we could possibly need to make our family meals. We love the dining table that gathers us to play games and do football drafts while we’re there. We love the cupola for stargazing or for a solitary minute to oneself. We love the underneath the house there’s a great place to work out. I love getting up in the morning and opening all the blinds and letting the sunshine in. I love that every time we come to EI there’s something else to discover. This year we finally discovered the food truck down the way and in the beach. We came the first year by ourselves. In the following years, we’ve had people follow us. People that we love. People that maybe we would get a house with. But the truth is we love this one. This house. All six of us in my family agree. We can’t change this house. Fantasea invites a peacefulness and a serenity all of it’s own. We are all devastated to leave. A week is not enough.

Perfect, as usual!!

We have stayed here multiple times and as always the house was great. Super clean with well stocked kitchen. It’s truly a 2 minute walk to the beach. Plenty of beach chairs and toys included. Great view of the ocean from the deck and the cupola. A/C works well and the outside hot/cold shower is the bomb after a day at the beach. Highly recommend!!

Had a great stay at Fantasea Cottage. The view from the porch and the cupula were amazing. The easy beach access, the outdoor shower, the wrap around porch, and the rockers were enjoyed by all. Highly recommend this family friendly property.

This is our 2nd stay at Fantasea. The property is in a great location close to both the ocean & the sound. The wrap around covered porch is a favorite spot to relax, especially the hammock. The outdoor shower is perfect after a day at the beach or kayaking in the sound. All the dishes, etc we needed. The views from the cupola are amazing!

Great beach house

The Fantasea Cottage was a great place for my family to stay while on vacation. It was extremely clean and very close to the public beach access, where the beach is wide and not crowded. We especially enjoyed sitting on the rocking chairs on the second floor deck and looking out at the ocean. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed including a blender for smoothies.

Relaxing Family Trip

The property was perfect for our needs as our family of five. The views were awesome with a convenient short walk to the beach! We were impressed with how well stocked the house was with necessities and other nice to have items. This was our first visit to Emerald Isle and we will definitely be back!

Wonderful house! Very clean and comfortable. Extremely close to beach. Great view from the decks and the breeze is wonderful! Air conditioner works well. Lots of chairs/beach toys and a wagon. Outside shower is the bomb after a day at the beach! Highly recommend!!

We were very happy with the house and its location to the beach. The house was well appointed and clean. The only drawback is the proximity to the main road and the traffic noise. Otherwise we were very happy and would definitely rent this property again.

Great Beach Getaway

Our family enjoyed our stay at Fantasea. The house had great views of the ocean and the sound, especially from the upper deck. The beach was just a short walk away, and there were plenty of beach chairs for all of us to relax in the sand. In the evening we loved sitting in the rocking chairs on the deck and looking at the stars.

Perfect Location & Beautiful View

It is impossible to understand how beautiful the view is from the front deck until you see it yourself. The walk to the beach is easy and convenient. The house itself is in great condition and very clean. It easily accommodated us and our 5 children. They loved playing board games together on the top level with 360 degree views of the ocean and sound. Great location with short trips to both the Swansboro side and Beaufort, Fort Macon etc. We’ll definitely be back!

Perfectly beautiful

Fantasea was more than perfect for our family of six. We have stayed in several rentals in various locales geographically but we hit the jackpot perfectly here. The house so, so clean and well maintained. The kitchen was equipped so thoughtfully with quality cooking tools and utensils. There was nothing that we looked for (-and we cooked and baked) that we could not find. The porch and hammock were heavenly and relaxing, the ocean breezes and views generous and relaxing. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms so nicely sized. Living room was cozy and we enjoyed many games around the kitchen table. The walk to the beach was a quick hop and a jump. The. beach was pristine and not crowded. The storage closet in the garage held several beach chairs and beach toys. The owners were gracious and responsive. We could have not found a better place to stay or to vacation. We are so grateful! And are coming back next summer.

We had a wonderful stay at Fantasea. The house was extremely clean and very comfortable. There were 9 of us and we never felt crowded or on top of each other. Kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of towels and beach chairs and beach accessories were provided. The wrap around porch was great! We spent a lot of time out there enjoying the breeze and beautiful views. Internet worked just fine and a/c worked perfectly. It truly is a very short walk to the beach. Owners are very responsive and answer any questions immediately. Can’t go wrong with this house!!

Perfect property

Can’t give a high enough rating for this property. The owners are great to work with and as far as the house, it couldn’t have been more perfect. Immaculately clean, with great features like the walk-out cupola, where the kids could have a fort, while mom and dad relaxed on the top level porch in the evenings. Everything you need to enjoy the house and beach, including boogie boards, sand toys, beach chairs and wagon. Carport offers clothesline, shaded place to play, room for your beach gear, or two stalls to park. Outdoor shower is awesome- with warm water, we managed to keep the sand outside to the point we hardly used the inside showers. House has strong AC, for those who can’t take the heat. There is some main road noise, but most bedrooms are situated away from the road and it did not inhibit sleep, plus included fans could be used as white noise. The grill and furnishings are higher quality than all the other rentals we have had over the last 10 years in the same price range. Will definitely stay here again if we come back to Emerald Isle...wish we could bring this property with us on all our vacations!
