Enjoy a romantic get-away or a private retreat at the "Garden Cabin." Relax in the serenity of rustic elegance. Watch the moon rise over the mountains from the comfort of your private hot tub. Enjoy the beauty of our Koi Pond which features a waterfall and a fountain. Beside the Garden Cabin, there is an antique water wheel from a cotton mill. On the other side of the Cabin is Flower Hill which features seasonal flowers, two hammocks, and a swing.

This cabin features a flat screen HDTV, a beautiful queen bed, and a fully-equipped kitchen with quartz counter tops. Enjoy the rustic elegance of refurbished wood. The logs in the cabin come from the mid 1800's. The walls are finished with refurbished oak and wormy chestnut boards from a barn built in the 1930’s. There is also furniture made from refurbished wormy chestnut. This home features a wood burning stove with a fireplace front. Firewood is provided.

The Cove at Fairview has many wonderful amenities. There is a gas grill at this home (propane provided). Visit our three horses and two miniature donkeys – they always love carrots. Fresh eggs from our chickens are provided. We also have an electric charging station. This Level 2 EV Fast Charger is available free of charge.

The Cove at Fairview is located just 15 minutes from downtown Asheville and the Biltmore House. We are only 10 minutes to The Blue Ridge Parkway. The Garden Cabin is close to everything, but feels a world away from it all.

Frank was super great to stay with. The cabin was so cute and he met us there at check in to tell us all about the cabin and his property and give suggestions on places to go. The hot tub was perfect for 2, the kitchen had everything you could want and the bed was nice and comfy. We would definitely come back.

Perfect anniversary getaway spot!

Beautiful, romantic cabin that was perfect for our 5 year wedding anniversary. Very clean and cozy cabin, beautifully maintained grounds that was fun to explore, and nice hot tub to relax in and look at stars. Already want to come back next year!

Quaint cabin and property

This was such a lovely place to stay. The cabin was beautiful and the kitchen was clean and well stocked. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and feeding the farm animals. We will definitely want to stay here again if we come back to the Ashville area.

Wonderful stay!

The cabin is so cute. The location is great, felt super close to everything but far enough from the city that it felt like an escape. Frank was such a lovely host- he greeted us and was available for any questions or requests and was just all around great. We got to feed the animals as well which was so much fun. We had a beautiful stay and would highly recommend!

Perfect Getaway

Lovely getaway

My partner and I stayed at the garden cabin for a few nights as a vacation before starting a new job. Our host was excellent and super accommodating. Frank even made sure to communicate with us and was always readily available for any questions and was very knowledgeable about the area. The property was gorgeous and we would love to return!

Second time staying here and can’t wait to come back

We had a great time and enjoyed our stay at this property for the second time now. The cabin is perfect, it is comfortable, clean, beautiful and has everything you need. The location is ideal, close to Asheville and amazing places to hike and visit but also private, peaceful and located on a beautiful farm. Our host was wonderful, available to help with just about anything and had the best recommendations for places to eat, drink, and visit. Loved the guided horseback trail experience he offered to arrange for us. So grateful for the experience and looking forward to coming back.

Beautiful cabin and close to Asheville

If you want a quiet place to stay and close to Asheville, this is it! Frank is so nice and was just a call/text away if we needed anything. The cabin is gorgeous and has everything you need to cook with and it has a washer & dryer!! The bed is very comfortable! We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub in the evenings and listening to the beautiful sound of nature. We will definitely stay here again!

This place was beautiful! Layout and landscaping! Flowers smelled great coming in. Loved feeding the fish and horses and animals:) privacy was perfect too!:) Will most definately stay here again! Check in with the host was fast and he gave us alot of good ideas and was prepared with a packet of other options and things to do ready for us! Loved this cabin!

After retiring from a 33 year career in sales management/ marketing, we visited our oldest daughter Etta and fell in love with Asheville. We moved to the Asheville Area in 2002 and lived in the house that became our first rental, “Our House.” (We built a cabin on the property and moved into it). Soon to follow, came our youngest daughter, Farris, and her now husband Danny. In 2009 their daughter Alyssa arrived and in 2015 Haley was born, making this a true family business.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with Asheville and all it has to offer. We then decided to share the beauty of the Asheville Area and the hospitality of the Smokey Mountains with others. “Our House” and “My Roundette” were on the property when we originally bought it. Both have since been remodeled. We then purchased additional land and built “My Place,” “The Huntley,” “The Garden Cabin,” and “Hideout.”

What makes this property unique

The Cove at Fairview is a family business that offers high quality rental homes. We utilize reclaimed wood in our houses as well as offering luxurious amenities. Our homes are truly have rustic mountain elegance.
All of the homes have private places to gather, such as porches and decks. Our larger homes feature indoor/ outdoor fireplaces.
While being very private and close to nature, you are still afforded all of the conveniences of technology such as high-speed internet.
Kick back, relax, and have a true retreat or a wonderful place to land after an exhausting day of fun (downtown is only 15 minutes away). Downtown Asheville has many restaurants and shops, as well as many as well many outdoor activities nearby including hiking. There are breweries and several restaurants in our town of Fairview. There is something nearby for everyone!
