Cottage near the centre of Flamborough with stone walls modernised sympathetically to retain its character . The cottage is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues, it has a steep staircase and step up to the kitchen and bathroom areas.Two double bedrooms , one has a kingsize bed and a foldaway single suitable for a small child if needed. The second bedroom has a double bed . Modern fitted kitchen , down stairs bathroom with bath and shower . Multi fuel burning stove and electric heating , gas fire in lounge .

We had a lovely stay, beautiful garden our dogs loved it, very well equipped. One thing to note access to the driveway is a bit tight.

I reverse into the driveway which makes leaving and entering easier. There are no parking restrictions on the roadside opposite the cottage if guests don't want to use the driveway parking.

This was our second visit to this cottage, which is pet-friendly. Communication with the owner was brilliant, responding really quickly. We love this property & hopefully we will return later in the year. Would recommend.

Place was in general very clean, useful items left such as washing liquid and dishcloths etc. (Did not use washing bowl and drainer as it did not look clean) Garden was large and very secure for our dog. The driveway entrance is quite small and you need to reverse from quite a busy road which sometimes took some doing. Once inside it widens. There is a very low beam in kitchen, my husband hit his head numerous times. It needs some padding on it. Stairs very steep but has rails both sidesEverything in good working order. Shower not great, had to remain on same setting otherwise temp fluctuates Towels very thin. Bedding ok. I thought bed was ok, husband thought too soft. Think it is memory foam type. Freezer in garage, opened door to be covered in cobwebs, seems not used much. Location is excellent. Place was quiet apart from neighbours in garden one night, but it is summer after all.

The beam is 6'2" which isn't a very low beam in a cottage , it's the only "low" beam in the cottage. There isn't a washing up bowl. The towels and bedding are all good quality . The shower is new. The bed is medium firm which suits most guests. Just had a delivery off a long wheel base transit van drove in no problem getting into the driveway. The neighbours are lovely and friendly ,great people. You should of gone around and joined in the summer party .They would of made you welcome , you might have enjoyed yourselves. Glad you found the location excellent .

Brilliant stay!

Had a lovely stay - enjoyed walking to all the beaches along the cliff path. Great location for bird watching at Bempton cliffs. I don’t have a garden at home so it was a real treat for me and my dog loved it! Thanks for a great break!

The cottage is lovely and spotlessly clean. It’s very homely and has everything you need for your stay. The kitchen was well equipped but we only had breakfast there as there are some lovely places nearby to eat out. There is a pub down the road and a Co op also nearby. The garden was loved and enjoyed by us and our two dogs.

The Cottage was much bigger than we expected, the garden was great for our dog to run around in. everything you need is the village, shop. restaurant, pubs & a couple of fish shops. friendly locals, overall this place a great base for exploring the east coast, overall we had a brilliant stay in this cottage, we are hoping to return again sometime.

Quaint cottage

Super cottage with a super dog friendly garden. Highlight though was Puffin spotting at nearby Bempton Cliffs
