From the initial booking request, we had a good and sincere contact with house owners Roberto & Iaia, although unfortunately we have never met in person. The house is genuine, with authentic furniture & decoration and comfortable at a family owned piece of land at a dead end road. Mountain views are stunning, and around the house there is a lot of space for the children to play outside. The location is a bit remote from the skilifts and the steep climb towards the main road is a small burden when in skiboots, but this didn’t bother us too much. Ample parking near the house.
A morning or evening stroll through the old village to the local shops is really the charm.
Mind that this is a comfortable and spacious but not luxurious hide-out: there is no central heating, no dishwasher, boiler capacities might fall a bit short for 2+1 bathrooms, a couple of light switches seem to be redundant, some equipment might be a bit outdated, but again, this is truly a vintage family vacation house and this what we signed up for and enjoyed a lot. We were with 4 adults, 4 kids and 1 toddler, and all are fond of Italian villages like Antagnod. Would recommend, value for money and accommodating owners. Grazie!
