Séjour parfait

Très belle maison, sans vis à vis, et très calme. Très grande piscine et de nombreux équipements dans la cuisine. Pièces spacieuses et terrasses agréables. Juste un petit bémol sur le manque de lumières en extérieur le soir. Besoin de changer les ampoules et ajouter peut être un ou deux lampadaires en plus pour pouvoir profiter pleinement des soirées en extérieur. Sinon rien à redire, propriétaire également très réactive. Merci pour cette belle semaine

Des hauts et des bas

Cette propriété est très spacieuses mais les pièces en rez-de-chaussée ne sont pas habitable l’hiver car trop froides et humides. Cette maison est confortable dans le sens où il y a presque tout ce qu’il faut et qu’elle est bien chauffée. Nous y avons apprécié le très grand salon et la cheminée. Mais elle est aussi inconfortable car tout est plutôt mal, voir pas rangé. Nous avons été incommodés par les odeurs de fosse sceptique, surtout à l’extérieur quand il a plu et dans la salle de bain régulièrement. L’intérêt de cette maison est son isolement, son espace extérieur et son cadre qui permettait une grande liberté aux enfants.

Wonderful place - with one drawback

An ageing but beautiful house, with huge pool, terrace, lots of space, sun and shade, in a wonderful situation on the side of a hill, 5 minutes drive from St Jean du Gard with shops and supermarket. But it has one major flaw - the traffic noise from the road below. If this does not bother you, and you don’t mind minor discomfort (big, heavy duvet covers - tip: bring your own!) you will love this place.

Une belle demeure...

Très belle propriété.sejour agréable.Beaux volumes et belle cuisine, nous déplorons cependant une literie non confortable, un mobilier, des menuiseries et des salles de bain d une autre époque. Espace extérieur très plaisant et superbe piscine.

Très belle maison avec des extérieurs enchanteurs en lisière de foret....Propriétaires très réactifs aux besoins des locataires. Cadre très reposant ,bercé par les flots du Gardon en contrebas...

Tout d'abord un contact très sympathique avec les propriétaires tout à fait disponibles et charmants. Ensuite une maison tout à fait conforme à sa description et un charme indéniable qui ne peut apparaître dans l'annonce bien sûr. Un intérieur simple mais de qualité et une disposition des pièces qui assure à chacun une certaine tranquilité dans une maison qui peut accueillir jusqu'à 15 personnes facilement. Bref une excellente adresse que je recommande fortement.

Sehr schönes Haus in sehr schöner Lage!!

Das Haus ist wunderschön, es passt so schön in die Landschaft. Die Küche ist super für eine größere Gruppe. Der Pool ist unschlagbar schön, schattige Plätze außen herum, groß, sauber und mit Sprungbrett! Zur Genauigkeit des Inserats: Es gibt vier Zimmer mit Doppelbett (inkl. dem Zimmer mit Schlafsofa) und ein 5er-Zimmer im Erdgeschoss. Das fünfte angegebene Schlafzimmer ist im Halbkellergeschoss und deshalb nicht so schön wie die anderen. Ansonsten war alles super und wunderschön!

Super séjour en famille et entre amis. Maison idéale pour passer des vacances au vert. Idéalement situé. Piscine géniale. Équipement de la maison impeccable pour 12 personnes. Manque quelques équipements de loisirs ( Table Ping Ping cassée , tapis de piscine vieux, raquettes cassées...)

Superbe lieu

Cette très belle et grande maison toute équipée vous permettra de profiter de la piscine, de la vue et des cigales sur place, ainsi que de coins superbes à visiter autour dans un rayon de 25 km. Un robot pour râper les carottes, un étandage et quelques rallonges à dispo nous auraient facilité la vie, mais rien de bien méchant. Très bon séjour

A week of family time

This is a lovely large house in a big property with plenty of space in the garden and terraces as well as the good sized pool. We were 10, 6 adults and 4 children and had plenty of space although we only used the four bedrooms upstairs; the others are in the rather dingy downstairs. We only used the shower and table tennis down there. The house has clearly been in a family for many years, generations even, and probably needs a thorough overhaul in terms of furnishings but it was a lovely, large space for the children to run around and play safely and for us all to have big family meals together outside. It was very irritating that the dishwasher was not working when we were there and was too small to cater for such a large number; it is apparently being replaced. The showers also need attention and refitting although they are able to be used. No loo rolls or bin bags were provided which we found very strange and also we had to make our own beds on arrival which I did not anticipate having been told the beds would be made. Some of the electrical fittings appeared somewhat unsafe. Otherwise we had a great time and loved the village and markets too!

Très agréable maison idéalement située

Une maison qui a une âme, calme, bien équipée au milieu d'une nature magnifique aux essences variées. A 6 minutes des trous d'eau de Mialet pour les amateurs de nage en eau douce (c'est le cas de nos poilus !) , 5 minutes de Saint jean du Gard ou on trouve tout ce qu'il faut , des sentiers superbes... Pas de "pression touristique" en cette première quinzaine de juin au demeurant un peu fraîche cette année.

Eine traumhafte Woche

Wir haben Anfang Oktober einen wunderschönen Familienurlaub in dem Ferienhaus verbracht. Es ist sehr geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Küche ist geräumig und mit allem ausgestattet, was das Herz begehrt. Rund um das Haus sind überall Sitzplätze, so dass wir immer in der Sonne essen konnten. Am Pool kann man prima entspannen- auf den Liegestühlen, in der Hängematte oder auf dem Holzdeck. Wir konnten sogar noch täglich im Pool schwimmen. Die Matrazen der Betten sind sehr bequem, wir haben alle ausgesprochen gut geschlafen. Dass die Bäder und die Einrichtung teilweise schon älter ist störte uns gar nicht. Im Gegenteil, uns gefiel das besonders, das Haus hat dadurch noch mehr Charme. Die Lage des Hauses ist traumhaft. Ruhig und im Grünen. Um das Haus herum sind schöne Beete mit Hortensien, viel Rosmarin und Lavendel. Abends konnten wir unter sternklarem Himmel draußen sitzen. Vor dem Haus ist ein praktischer, gemauerter Grill und auf beiden Seiten des Hauses gibt es bunte Lichterketten für eine gemütliche Beleuchtung. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und kommen gerne einmal wieder. Vielen Dank für alles!

Stunning location

We had a wonderful week here as a large family party. The terrace and outdoor eating area is spacious with an amazing view that you will never tire of. The kitchen is big, and very well equipped for a rental property. The pool is huge, and you can do proper lengths, but you can also go down to the river which is very close by and lovely for a dip. St Jean du Gard has several weekly markets, a zip wire place for kids (and adults!), steam train, canyoning and there are endless beautiful walks in the area. A good choice for an active holiday or just reading a book by the pool. We were a large group of 14, so some of the bedrooms were not as nice as others, but this was outweighed for us by the positives. Would definitely go back.

Bonne semaine sous le soleil des Cévennes - au calme et dans la verdure. La maison est très agréable, pleine de charme, spacieuse et bien équipée. L'extérieur est bien aménagé et on apprécie les nombreuses terrasses ombragées éclairées par des petits lampions.... La piscine est immense et bien sécurisée. Nombreuses possibilités de visites et les commerces ne sont pas loin. Bref, Une location ou l'on na pas envie de repartir....

Très agréable

Une semaine idyllique sous le soleil des Cévennes. 7 adultes, 7 enfants, chacun avec de l'espace. Maison très agréable avec tout ce qu'il faut. La terrasse est ombragée et nous avons toujours eu de l'air malgré de fortes chaleurs. Terrasse où nous avons passé aussi bien nos repas du midi à l'ombre de l'arbre que ceux du soir à la lueur des bougies. La piscine est fantastique, très grande et très bien sécurisée avec de jeunes enfants. Beaucoup de choses à faire aux alentours et les commerces/marchés ne sont pas loin. Vraie maison de vacances de famille, rustique mais charmante et fonctionnelle.

Ideal für Motorradgruppe

Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Motorradtouren. Das Haus hat ausreichend Platz für 10 Erwachsene (auch noch mehr, wenn die Kinderbetten genutzt werden). In der Garage lassen sich alle Motorradklamotten ablegen. Die Räume sind sehr einfach, ebenso wie die Bäder. und Betten. Deshalb eigentlich ein Punkt Abzug. Aufgrund des günstigen Preises für das Gesamtpaket bleibt es bei fünf. Wem die schlichte Ausstattung nichts ausmacht, der wird sich hier extrem wohl fühlen. Ansonsten ist alles zweckmäßig, funktionstüchtig und um das Haus herum auch vom Platzangebot sehr großzügig. Absolut genial ist der risiege Pool mit Liegen, Hängematte und reichlich Platz zum sonnen. Bei kleineren Problemen (versehentlich ausgeschlossen) wurde uns extrem schnell weiter geholfen. An dieser Stelle noch einmal herzlichen Dank
