Cycling and walking holiday

We had a great holiday in this lovely gite. The gite was perfect for our holiday. We were able to walk and cycle every day from the gite. The hosts were friendly and very helpful and gave us useful local advice.

Super easy & super practical!

We had a great time with our family. The house was exactly as described and suited us with 2 little children very well. A plus is the little enclosed garden and the parking on tne spot. We found everything we needed in the house (even towels!) and there are shops in walking distance.

well equiped gite with everything close by

Many previous reviews already stated it,the gite is well equiped. Everything you could possibly need is there for you. At one point we needed a pump to inflate a bike tire and the owner didn't have one. So, he went to collect it from his son and an hour later we could inflate our tire!A lot of nice places are close by, Kaysesberg, Eguisheim, Ribeauvillé, Riquewhir, Colmar, Strassbourg or even Freiburg in Germany. If you are in to nature, the Vosges are close by and we did several walks around Lac Noir and Lac Blanc. The lakes are not super spectacular, but the surroundings make up for that.Finally we enjoyed picking cherry's and raspberry's from the gite's garden. Delicious!

Wij hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad in Sigolsheim. Een hartelijk ontvangt door de eigenaren die ons de hele week met rust hebben gelaten. Het huis biedt veel privacy. Een fijn huisje voor ons als gezin met zes personen. Goede bedden, ruime slaapkamers. We dachten dat er linnengoed aanwezig was maar dit was niet zo. Voor ons was dit geen probleem omdat wij dit al mee hadden genomen voor onze volgende bestemming. Maar wel iets om rekening mee te houden voor een volgende keer. Keuken voorzien van goede koelkast, vriezer, kookplaat, oven en keukengerei. Fijn terras waar je heerlijk kunt zitten. De tuin is volledig afgesloten zodat onze hondjes niet konden ontsnappen. Op loopafstand een bakker en een kleine buurtwinkel waar je groente, fruit, vlees en zuivel kunt kopen. In de buurt is er genoeg te doen; fietsen, wandelen, zwemmeer en stadjes als Kaysersberg en Colmar. Wij komen hier heel graag weer terug!!

Gite très propre et très bien équipé, rien ne manque.Commerces à moins de 5 minutes.Quartier calme.Emplacement ideal pour découvrir la région, situation centrale pour la route du vin à proximité des plus beaux villages, acces rapide vers les sommets vosgiens. Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine à Sigolsheim (proche de kaysersberg). Pour ceux qui recherche le calme, la location est parfaite. L'accueil de Céline et Bernard est très bon, organisé et sympathique. À notre départ, j'ai fais une suggestion à Bernard pour améliorer la location: il faudrait une porte en bas des escaliers pour éviter le bruit de la cuisine et ou de la télé dans la première chambre au dessus. Sinon rien à dire, nous n'avons manqué de rien. Peut-être à bientôt !
