Excellent place

We loved the location of this property. Quaint town to walk around. It was a cozy home to stay in. You access it through a nice garden courtyard and go up a flight of stairs. Not a lot of places to sit to hang out but it is as listed so we expected that. Very comfortable bed one of the best I’ve stayed in for a rental. The kids twin beds were comfy for them too. The host was exceptional. She was so friendly and helpful. She lives in the home right next to this one (same courtyard). She even made us delicious hazelnut cakes. Parking was right outside or just a short walk around the corner, free. The only downside was the internet it was super slow for us. If 2 people were on it we couldn’t use it to open maps or much. Would highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay in Kientzheim. The walled village was perfect - peaceful with a small cafe, restaurant and hotel - and directly on the wine route so great for cycling and visiting the beautiful villages. Caroline was the perfect host and the historic gite was beautiful. We really felt part of Alsace while we were there. We would strongly recommend staying here as a base to explore this amazing region.
