The best little secret spot !

My son and I stayed 3 nights for a wakeboard contest on lk acworth. We loved how comfy cozy and clean our accommodation were. Everything we needed was there and ready. Our hosts were super sweet and helpful.

Great property and location

Property was great. Back yard looked like something out of Southern Living. 2 minute walk to the lake and beach. 10 minutes to Lakepont sports facility. 5 minute walk to Acworth's downtown shops and restaraunts. Highly recommend.

Excellent - perfect fit our family

My family traveled to the area for a baseball tournament. The studio style apartment was a perfect fit for our family. We thoroughly enjoyed the space as it had all that we needed. Edward and Beth were great hosts and took care to make sure we were comfortable. We very much enjoyed walking around the lake and downtown area. What a beautiful town, great neighborhood and quiet, relaxing atmosphere. We would definitely recommend this property to others.

Perfect Home Away From Home

We absolutely loved our stay! The home and apartment are just what we need when staying for baseball tournaments. We love having a kitchen to cook meals in and not eat out three meals a day, a washer and dryer to wash dirty baseball uniforms and not wait for or pay $3/wash & dry at a hotel, and the landscaped backyard was heaven. Not to mention the sweetest pups to totally make us feel at home! We also loved being by the beach and lake, and a fishing pole was available to use. We'll be back every time it's available!

Quiet and serene setting

Amazing little studio in walk out basement area. Beth and Ed greeted us in their patio area and their three friendly pups were happy to meet our Service Dog. The rental was spacious, supplied with everything you might need, including washer/dryer. Fenced backyard was right out of "Southern Living". Super compfy bed. Couldn't ask for better space or better hosts!!!

Beautiful space in a beautiful place

The space itself is delightful, my daughter and I stayed there while visiting friends/family. It's a small but very functional space, had everything we needed for a long weekend. The kitchen is well-equipped if you're looking to make some nice meals and/or save money by cooking at home, but of course it's also a short walk to downtown Acworth and the multitude of restaurants there. The bed is very comfortable and there's lots of extra blankets if needed (the temp was great for us the entire time), and there's a pull-out couch that's good for kids. And the back yard is gloriously beautiful, very welcoming and peaceful piece of nature and landscaping/gardening. The backyard (and the unit itself, probably, if you invited them in) also included some very sweet and friendly dogs, they rushed out to give a sniff and welcome visitors. Last but certainly not least, Lake Acworth is JUST down the street, a nice beach if it's in the warm season, or a lovely place to take a stroll and visit the park/playground any time of year.

The property was actually what was described in the listing: clean and spacious. The owners do have dogs, so you will experience some barking but not overwhelming. Beth was available as needed and helpful with questions. We enjoyed our stay!

Great location for Lakepoint complex

We rented this place because we were in town for a baseball tournament and wanted to bring our dog with us. This house was only 11 minutes from the Lakepoint complex! Also our dog loved playing with the owner’s dogs while we were there. The shared backyard was gorgeous! Tons of beautiful plants and lots of seating. Very close to Lake beach where you can fish or swim.

Safe and friendly neighborhood

We had a great stay in this property. No negative issues at all. Beth and Edward were friendly and responsive hosts, and the neighborhood was quiet and safe. The access to Cauble Park was an added bonus. We will definitely be back when we are in the Atlanta area!

Great studio with wonderful hosts. Nothing fancy, just a comfy, cozy studio in an adorable little town! The bed is AMAZING. Full size fridge, stove and microwave. Plenty of towels. There are even beach chairs! Beth and Ed were lovely. They were very understanding when my 55lb dog figured out how to use the doggie door and decided to drop in unannounced!! Great location close to the beach. Cute shops and restaurants within walking distance. Convenient to the highway. Nice walking trails. There is a washer and dryer in the main house but I wld have loved one in the studio. Would totally stay here again!! Enjoyed my stay very much!

Cute, quaint apartment -like space under a home in Acworth. Basement area set up as a studio apartment. Perfect for our family to be near the beach and playground. Excellent location for our baseball tournament with lots to do. Beth and Edward were very nice and readily available when we had questions. This was the first time we stayed in a home that was part of someone’s house and it was a great experience. We had all the privacy and convenience of our own space: separate walkway, parking and entry.

Feels like home, looking to buy home there.

Feels like home, Beth is so nice and accommodating, and very personable. Can walk safely around neighborhood and to downtown area. Merchant employees, and or owner’s are extremely friendly. Especially like that ther is an Emory clinic downtown, we live in Alabama, and I have been driving to Georgia over 6 years to see my Doctors at Emory. Love all the historical sites in the area. We are looking to purchase home there because we love everything about the area.

It’s a very nice studio. Well furnished and located, almost right on the lake. The town of Ackley is wonderful. Only drawback I was a little confused about the air conditioning in the studio but it was fine.

Well equipped studio in lovely neighbourhood

The studio was perfect for our stay containing a well equipped kitchen, a nice bathroom and comfortable bed. The yard is lovely and the lake a short walk away. The studio is very private but the friendly hosts, Edward and Beth were available if a question arose. They had some great restaurant suggestions, also very close to the property.

Charming studio, nicely furnished, in a serene neighborhood so close to lake with nice beach.

This studio is a great place to stay in Acworth. Beth and Edward are great hosts. Available yet not intrusive. The courtyard and garden are wonderfully peaceful. They thought of everything in outfitting the studio, right down to beach towels and chairs.

I did find the grill not ready to use and only two beds (one being a pullout couch). This was not as I expected. Otherwise, the place was clean and nicely decorated with an amazing location close to Atlanta and great downtown Acworth.

The studio is a two minute walk to Cauble Park and Lake Acworth. Great clean beach with wonderful playground for kids of all ages. Five minute walk to uptown dinning and shopping. Conveniently located 2 1/2 miles from Interstate 75 making travel to many local sites historic, sports, and entertainment just minutes away.
