Each and every house has been carefully constructed and decorated to provide holidays makers with the opportunity to enjoy all the facilities and amenities of their own home while away from home. Surrounded by a vast green area, Vale da Silva is the perfect place for you and your family or friends to relax and disconnect from the stress of everyday's life. Whether you do or don't have much time to be away from home, but still wish to enjoy some peace and quiet, Vale da Silva Villa's is your best answer. Isabel, the villa's owner, makes each guest feel part of her own the family.

About Us

Casa da Avó has a history dating back to over 100 years. The whole state comprises the main house, where Isabel, the villa's owner, has set her residence, The Upper House (Casa de Cima), The Wooden House (Casa de Madeira - Bungalow) The White House (Casa Branca) and the Backyard House (Casa do Fundo - Bungalow) and The Tree House.
Vale da Silva Villas, where the houses are located, is set in a beautiful rural farm area 15 minutes from the city of Aveiro, known as the Venice of Portugal, where you can enjoy gondola trips through its various straits.
Aveiro offers numerous activities alongside its stunning sandy beaches such as surfing, kite surfing, sailing and fitness. It also has a great night life and shopping areas such as Forum Aveiro set above one of the main channels of the city.
The city of Aveiro is also a short drive to the wine regions of Bairrada and Douro, known worldwide for its Port wine.
Each house can accommodate from 4 to 6 people and is fully equipped, apart from the Tree House that only accommodates 2 people. All guests have access to a commune pool and stables.
The spaces are ideal for holidays and weekends.
We have created a restful retreat, so you can feel as in your home away from home whilst on holidays in Portugal.
We have 3 dogs that are not in contact with the guests, 6 cats, goats, turtles, horses ....
