About this property

Your family and friends will have a terrific vacation in this well maintained home. Updates in 2023: Level 2 EV charger (not Tesla), entire interior re-painted, two new A/C units, new smart TV’s, new kitchen appliances, LVP flooring in bedrooms and baths. The home has a reverse floor plan with the main living area on the second floor to take advantage of the ocean view. There are adirondack chairs and porch rockers plus a dining table and chairs on the spacious top level deck. This top level has a chef's well equipped kitchen with granite counters, stainless steel appliances including two sinks, undercounter ice maker, food processor, two toasters, two coffee makers, electric knife sharpener and gourmet cookware. The dining table can seat 10 with additional space at the adjacent counter. There are two bedrooms on the top level, one with two queen beds and one with a queen bed and TV. All bedrooms have a private bath. The living room has a large screen HDTV with sound bar. There is WIFI internet access (computer not provided). This level has a sectional sofa, and three comfortable chairs.

On the first living level there is a den with wet bar, beverage refrigerator sectional sofa, chairs and TV. This level features covered decks with the hot tub. The washer and dryer are on this level as are three bedrooms, a master bedroom with a king bed and TV, a bedroom with a queen bed and TV and a bedroom with a twin bed and a queen bed.

This is a great off season home with a private swimming pool that can be heated, (additional fee) a 6 person hot tub off of the first floor deck. The beach access is a short walk, about 1/10 of a mile.

Ocean Isle Beach offers a quiet relaxed family vacation with warm water and a uncrowded beach. The area is a golfer's paradise with over 30 courses in Brunswick County and over 100 in Myrtle Beach. There is convenient grocery shopping and restaurants. If you desire more activity, then historic Wilmington, North Carolina is about 40 minutes north and North Myrtle Beach is 25 minutes to the south. For general aviation pilots there is an Ocean Isle airport 5 minutes from the house.

Great Location, Everything a Family Needs

We booked this house with 2 other families. All with kids aged 1-6. The kids and adults had plenty of room to relax after spending the day between the beach and the pool. The pool is larger than the pictures would have you believe, which was a pleasant surprise. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped. The primary porch has excellent views of the ocean. You can hear the waves crashing all day/night from all floors. It's an easy walk across the street to beach access. The homeowner responded quickly with any questions we had, and everything was ready for us to have a great trip upon arrival.

Perfect House, Perfect Location

This house was perfect for our family vacation to Ocean Isle. It was clean, well stocked and had lots of room to comfortably accommodate our group of 9. The elevator made it easy to bring in (and out) luggage and supplies, avoiding multiple staircases! We especially enjoyed sitting in the Adirondack chairs on the upper deck each morning sipping coffee and each evening relaxing after a wonderful day spent at the beach! The beach access is an easy short walk away. The pool was a definite hit and family favorite each afternoon! Unfortunately the hot tub was in need of repair, so we were unable to use it during our stay as it wasn't functioning properly. But all else was perfect and we hope to be able to return for another stay in the future! Thank you Barbara for sharing your lovely beach house for others to enjoy!

Super Space!

This home was perfect for a multi-generational family. Lots of space for everyone and very well-equipped. We loved all of the amenities and everything was very clean. The beach access is very close and the views of the ocean were an unexpected bonus. The owner responded quickly to a question that we had and everything was just great! We have stayed at many properties over the years and this was definitely at the top off them all.

A Great Beach House!

This is our 2nd time staying here, and we loved it just as much this time as we did the first time we stayed there! There is room for everyone to spread out! The beds are comfortable. The pool and hot tub are both wonderful! The views from the deck are phenomenal! We love everything about this house and can't wait to stay again in the future!

Why they chose this property

We had rented vacation homes with family and friends at the beach for years, mostly the outer banks. After my husband became a private pilot, and we were partner's in an airplane, we decided that it would be nice to be able to "fly in" to our own place for relaxing weekends. Ocean Isle Beach was the perfect location, short flight from Alexandria, VA and an airstrip five minutes away. My husband has since retired and due to a vision loss, no longer flies, but we still enjoy our trips to this quiet oasis with the amazing sunsets.
