Our four bedroom, two bath home with two kitchens on two levels will suit the needs of many families and groups up to 14 or just a single family vacation with our low rates. There is a single slip boat dock with a new swim deck, a charcoal grill, picnic table, firepit, and large covered porch with an amazing view of the water. A boat launch is located on the property with plenty of parking. No need to spend extra time going to and from marina to launch your PWC/ boat.
Located only a hundred yards from the main channel and a short distance from the mouth of Rock Creek makes it an ideal place on the water. Lot is shady and peaceful making for the ultimate relaxing vacation. The home has been remodeled to include new mattresses, new appliances in upstairs kitchen, new sofa-beds and TV's along with new flooring and paint throughout the home. Home has and upstairs and downstairs living areas. Downstairs is handicapped accessible with one bedroom downstairs, accessible bathroom, no steps onto patio and only one step to get to the waters edge. Grab bars at handicapped height commode and in shower. Ample eating areas includes large table downstairs and on the upstairs screened porch. Smaller table in upstairs kitchen. Table also on downstairs porch and picnic table on grounds. This home is offered at a GREAT price. You won't be disappointed! As the owners, we take pride in offering you the cleanest of homes and the amenities you need to make your vacation the BEST! Both kitchens are fully stocked and have the needed appliances and new cookware. Our convenient location on the lake makes it the ideal home for enjoying your lake time! Perfect location. Close to Duncan bridge by water. The fact that there is a private boat ramp on the property and a great dock were A for our family. Plenty of room for everyone in the house and relaxing on the back porch while laughing and talking with family made the trip great. It’s a great quiet cove with the benefit of being so close to the marina by water. The owners are so nice and very responsive.

Celebrated a wonderful family reunion right on Smith Lake Rented the house kayak’s to enjoy with our SeaDoo and boat. Loved the lake views and porch swing’s.

Five Generations

The house worked just fine for our group. We enjoyed the porches and easy access to the dock. Upstairs kitchen is small so I would suggest using it for extra beverages. Upstairs is for sleeping. Downstairs kitchen is larger and well equipped. With our toddler we spent most of our time in the downstairs living area. The shady location helps to keep the porches cooler. We all had a great time.

Perfect spot on the Lake!

The house and property were perfect. The beds were very comfortable. It was peaceful and quiet and very spacious. The fact that it had its own boat ramp was definitely a plus. The owners were very easy to work with and helpful. We would definitely stay there again! Thank you so much!

Relaxing lake trip

We had a good time at the lake! With 2 living rooms and 2 large decks, There is room to spread out. The 2 kitchens/refrigerators allow for plenty of food storage and cooking. The house description and pics are accurate. It is a nice wooded lot with shade. It would be nice if a few of the lower limbs out near the water were cut, to allow better view of the main channel. *** Note for anyone with a boat- the boat slip is small and not very tall. We couldn’t get pontoon in and had to take the canopy down to park at the side(as older tin over hangs and would have cut fabric canopy)! Their is a small attached swim dock and located in low traffic area.

Beautiful place. House was very clean. Couldn't have asked for a better walk to the water.

Barry & Deborah were great to work with. Had an issue with a shower head leaking & Barry was very quick to come to the house & replace the faulty one. Air conditioning was probably the best we've had in 6 or 7 years & that's saying a lot!!! Beds slept great!!! Loved the porches & the swings. Kids had a great time with the kayaks. The upstairs kitchen was a big plus as well. Can't say enuff good about this property. The only glitch was trying to get a very large pontoon with an aluminum unremovable top to the water on the house driveway. Lots of trees and curves. Will probably put the boat in at Duncan Bridge next time. Hope to come back soon. Loved every minute. Thanks Barry

20+ years family vacation at Smith Lake

We have been going to Smith Lake as a family for over 20 years. My husband grew up in Mississippi and was at the lake just about every weekend! We have 3 family members with lake houses, so we have a little family reunion every year. We were very impressed with this property. Very clean and spacious. Love the short walk to the dock to swim or go on boat rides. We rented a pontoon from Duskin's Point. Loved sitting on the back porch in the morning and evening. It was super hot while we were there, so we borrowed a floor fan from our nephew. Kids loved the upstairs porch and play cards there every night. The house is brick and shaded, which helps keep it cooler. Air conditioning was amazing as well. Loved having 2 kitchens and 2 living rooms. It gave everyone room to get away from the group and relax on their own. The grill is charcoal and we used it several times. We had to run to Arley for charcoal and lighter fluid. Other suggestions are to take laundry detergent if you want to do some laundry. Washer and Dryer are nice, but there wasn't any detergent available. The owner was very responsive and stopped by the house on our 1st day to mow. We loved chatting with him and getting the history of the house. It was built in 1970 by a gentleman that lived to be 98 years old. He worked for the AL Power Company. He did all the brick work himself. We will definitely be renting this house again next year!!!

Why they chose this property

This property is on a quiet slough with quiet neighbors, with a swim pier, one slip boat house, and its OWN boat launch. It is conveniently located on the water about half-way between Lewis Smith Dam and Duncan Bridge.

What makes this property unique

This property provides a spacious home, located just off the main body of the lake on a quiet slough. The lot is nearly level with a gentle slope to the water and a one slip boat dock with a swim deck. This lot is conveniently located near the main body, near the mouth of Rock Creek and about one mile from Duskin Point Marina. No traveling to and from the marina to put in your boat and PWC. Boat launch right on the property. Property has year round water and beautiful view of the main body but nicely tucked just inside a cove for a more peaceful vacation experience.
