"Hidden Gem" On Smith Lake

Welcome to "Hidden Gem" on Smith Lake. A mountain lovin' girl married to a lake lovin' boy found the perfect home to fit both of our loves. Hidden Gem provides guests the feeling of being nestled in a mountain cabin retreat while being located on beautiful Smith Lake. Our home has brought many Woosah (defi: tell someone to calm down and relax) moments for us that we would like to extend to you.
This cabin is our family's vacation spot, but we would love to share with others when we are not there. Hidden Gem is a 3 bedroom 2 bath log cabin nestled in a cove located on the main channel in the central part of the lake. It is perfect for families with small children who want a secluded spot to swim or fish without worrying about boat traffic. The home is located just minutes from Duncan Marina (where boat rentals are available).
The upstairs loft boasts a fantastic owners suite with a queen size bed, private bath with a spa inspired shower and relaxing sitting area with large flat screen TV, DVD player, and Wii play station. Downstairs hosts the remaining two bedrooms, bathroom, living room, and kitchen and dining area. Bedroom 1 consists of full size bunk beds, twin day bed with trundle twin bed, Tv and dvd player. Bedroom 2 has queen size bed, 65” smart tv and washer and dryer are located in this room. The living room has all leather furniture, flat screen TV, DVD player. There is a large video library available for your viewing enjoyment.
The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, including a gas stove, fridge, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. There are also utensils and spices available for the avid cookers who like to whip up delicious meals! A charcoal grill is available for the grill masters as well.
In addition to lake access from our 10 X10 swim pier, our home is located across the street from the neighborhood rec area that has a tennis court, basketball court, and football/soccer field. We do offer the use of any equipment we have (soccer ball, tennis racquets and balls, basketball, archery equipment) for our guest to use during their stay.
The neighborhood boat launch is located just over 1/2 mile from our home and there is space available to store you trailer at the house.
The outside of the house has a sloping walk way down to the swim pier. We offer a canoe, paddle board and aqua lily pad for guest to use for their enjoyment while here. There is a large fire pit for you to huddle around during the cool fall evenings and make s'mores or just enjoy some music from the outdoor speaker available. Or you might just want to enjoy some quiet reading time in the hammock that overlooks the lake. During chilly winter months you may just want to cozy up around the wood burning stove in the living room with a book or movie. The relaxing options are endless!
