About this property

Comfortable gîte in a 19th century Provencal farmhouse ideally located

Facing the Montmajour Abbey, our guests are welcomed in our 18th century property surrounded by vines, olive trees and crops such as sunflowers or wheat.
In a former stable, we built this comfortable air-conditioned rural gîte which cleanliness, comfort and aestheticism is very important to us and for the well-being of our guests.
A pool, a football pitch, a Pétanque set, a swing and a barbecue are provided for you in the farmhouse.
For your safety, the entrance of the farmhouse is secured with an automatic gate with code and as for the pool, it is fenced and covered.
Thanks to our hospitality experience, we are attentive to our customers in order to facilitate the discovery of our region, inform them about the festivals and local events and guide them towards to shops and restaurants that make us proud.

Arles which is very close is a welcoming and tradition land and an antique city with rich monuments that gave it its name of small Roman Gaul. The town and its many Roman ruins are listed Unesco World Heritage for their cultural interest.

We had an excellent stay. Sylvie was a great host; spoke very good english and was very welcoming and knowledgable about local activities (especially the wednesday market at Saint Remy...not to be missed!)It was very pleasant to be able to eat outside on our little terrace in the evenings and the swimming pool was perfect for adults (if, possibly, a little cool for small children).We were able to keep our bicycles in the large farm garage and everything felt very safe and secure. The local village is close by, with supermarkets and some very nice restaurants. On our last morning we enjoyed sitting in a cafe watching horse riders run camargue bulls through the streets, obviously an annual event at the end of august.

Superbe endroit bien situé pour découvrir la région, on a découvert Isles sur la sorgue, les baux de Provence, Saint Rémy, Arles, Sainte Marie la Mer, Aigues mortes. Le cadre, le logement climatisé, la piscine, l'accueil, tout était parfait pour se détendre et profiter des vacances. Nous reviendrons certainement.

Die Domaine de Laforest bei Fontevielle ist ein ganz besonders schöner Ort. Nicht einmal 3 km von Fonteviell und 8 km von Arles entfernt liegt die Domaine perfekt. Wir hatten eine Terrasse bestattet von platt von wunderschönen Platanen und schauten direkt auf die Felder und in die Weite. Der Pool auf dem Gelände gehört zu den Annehmlichkeiten, wie auch die schöne Einrichtung der Wohnung mit der perfekten Klimatisierung, in allen Räumen und einer netten Küche. Die Ruhe ist traumhaft, und und zugleich ist man einer ganz kurzen Autostrecke mitten in Arles zum Einkaufen oder auf den schönen Plätzen des Ortes. Die Restaurants im fußläufig entfernten Fontevielles sind sehr schön, wie auch der typisch südfranzösische Markt. Ausflüge lassen sich mit dem Auto zu allen Highlights in der Region sehr gut machen: Lavendel in Valensole, Aix en Provence, Aigues Mortes, Les Sainte Marie de la mer, Avignon, Pont du Gard und vieles mehr. Kehrt man dann zur Domaine de Laforest zurück, kann man wunderbar die Seele baumeln lassen und entspannen. Sylvie ist ein fantastische Gastgeberin: Sie hat uns herzlich empfangen und für alles gesorgt. Als die Kaffeemaschine defekt war, war das Gerät in 20 Minuten einfach ausgetauscht, und die Wohnung war sehr sauber! Herzlichen Dank für alles! Landhaus unter riesigen Platanen

Eine schöne Unterkunft, die auch bei Hitze Schatten bietet. Man muss jedoch alles mitbringen, was man in Küche und Bad braucht, sprich Salz, Öl, Spüli, Seife etc. Die Umgebung bietet viel!

Unser Aufenthalt mit Hund war wirklich sehr schön. Die Anlage ist sehr schön gepflegt, der Pool ist sehr sauber und groß genug um zu schwimmen. Sehr schöne, gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung über zwei Etagen. Die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Schöner sauberer Pool. Leider während unseres Aufenthalts viele Mücken (Fenster und Türen der Wohnung mit Mückengittern).

Drei angenehme Wochen im Juni

Wir haben in der Domaine Laforest im Juni drei sehr angenehme Wochen verbracht. Das Anwesen ist sehr gepflegt und sicher, außerdem nicht weit vom kleinen Ortskern von Fontvieille, aber Auto erforderlich. Auch der Pool ist schön groß und sauber. Frau Sylvie kümmert sich umgehend, zuverlässig und effizient um etwaige Problemchen. Ebenso wie unsere Nachbarn kommen wir wahrscheinlich wieder.

Entspannte Tage in der Provence

Super gîte

Nous avons passé une superbe semaine en Camargue dans le gîte de Sylvie. Très bon accueil et personne très agréable. Le gîte est très bien équipé, très propre et très bien situé. Cadre idyllique, au calme et idéal pour faire des randonnées en partant du gîte. Très belle piscine, que nous n'avons malheureusement pas pu profiter car beaucoup de vent et froid durant notre semaine de vacances. Fontvielle est idéal pour silloner la Camargue. Nous avons visiter le Grau du Roi, Aigues Mortes, Saint Laurent d'Aigouze (pour les fan de ITC), les Baux de provence, Arles.... Adresse à retenir, nous reviendrons !

Wunderbare Auszeit zum Jahreswechsel

Wir haben mit unserem Hund eine wunderbare Zeit zum Jahreswechsel 23/24 in Fontvieille verbracht. Die Unterkunft liegt sehr ruhig aber doch so zentral, dass Ausflugsziele wie die Alpillen, Arles und die Camargue in kürzester Zeit zu erreichen sind. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Hinweis für Gehbehinderte: Die Treppe im Appartment Nr. 3 zu den Schlafzimmern, zu Bad und Toilette macht eine relativ enge 180°-Biegung. Die Zufahrt von der Landstraße zum Grundstück hat vier asphaltgraue Betonschweller, die nicht bei jedem Licht gut zu erkennen sind.

Lieu très calme, entouré de champs. Idéal pour des vacances reposantes et pour découvrir les baux de Provence Nous avons adoré. Sylvie est à notre écoute si besoin, mais c'est être discrète auprès de ses hôtes. Venez y séjourner, vous ne serez pas déçu.

Heerlijke oase in hartje Zuid-Provence

Comfortabele gite, ruim zwembad, goede matrassen, overal muggengaas voor ramen en deuren, airco ook in de slaapkamers, heel proper geheel, hartelijk ontvangst door Sylvie en haar familie. Ideale locatie om de Alpilles, Arles, St Rémy etc te bezoeken. Topvakantie!

Zauberhafter Ort , sehr schön außerhalb den Ortes Fontvieille gelegen

Herrliche charmante Anlage von dicken alten Bäumen umgeben.Im Sommer halten sie die Wärme ab.Toller Pool mit Schatten und Fitnessgeräten , alles sehr sauber und liebevoll hergerichtet. Sylvie ist eine sehr nette bemühte Gastgeberin. Da 2 Treppen in der Ferienwohnung sind für gehbehinderte nicht geeignet.Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen wieder. Marion und Martin

This estate purchased by my grandparents is the result of many years of hard work and passion
I wanted to work in the hotel industry and be able to maintain this property that I love so much
The gîtes appeared to me as an evident aim.

What makes this property unique

Thanks to our hospitality experience, we decided to offer a different approach to tourism: closer to our guests and more convivial.
The property is ideally located between the Provence and the Camargue
Gîtes are quiet and very comfortable with nice services, quality furniture and irreproachable cleanliness.
Each year we improve the quality of each gîte and we do our best to ensure an excellent stay in Provence to our guests.
