This is a smart, modern, New York apartment that allows for unwinding and relaxation in a completely private space one floor up. It has a fully equipped kitchen with all equipment necessary to have a snack or make a full meal. Bedroom is roomy and comfy with a queen sized bed and attached bathroom and tons of closet space. Open living room and dining room with comfortable seating for dining and entertainment. The apartment is located on the second floor of our 2 story home and shares the street entrance with the first floor, but has its own private entrance on the second floor.
The home is located in Baldwin, in Long Island, a block away from Rockville Center, close to Long Beach town and near Queens and Brooklyn. Also near Garden City, Hempstead, Oceanside, Valley Stream. It is close to major highways - Sunrise Highway, Southern State Parkway and Meadowbrook Parkway and just a few minutes from JFK Kennedy international airport. It is close proximity to several beautiful beaches, major colleges, hospitals and malls.
Neighborhood is quiet with great parking available & surveillance. Lots of trees, flowers, manicured lawns. Easy drive to Long Beach, Lido Beach and Jones Beach. A straight drive down Long Beach Rd and in a few mins you're on the beautiful boardwalk or on the beach. Also the apartment is near Hofstra University, South Nassau Communities hospital, Long Island Jewish hospital. Also, Stony Brook University & hospital is approx 20 mins drive. Close proximity to Roosevelt mall, US Marine Academy, USMMA and 30 mins from Manhattan/New York.
Also it's a short ride on the nearby Belt Parkway to Brooklyn and just a few miles to Queens and quick and easy access to Belmont Park Racetrack, US Open location and Aqueduct racetrack. The owners live on the premises and are available if needed.

We loved staying here! It was quiet and basically had every single thing we needed. I have rented many VRBOs and never was there coffee, eggs, butter, drinks, snacks etc. The only thing missing was a full lenght mirror but not everyone requires that.

Another enjoyable stay in Mel and Sharon's apartment! It's very clean and comfortable and they provide everything you need, including all the ingredients for breakfast, from juice to eggs. I've stayed here at least 4 times in the past few years, and it's convenient, in a quiet neighborhood.
