Stay in Argelès

A lovely flat in a prime position near the port and close to the main beach as well. Completely secluded in its own private garden in a development which has no through traffic or pedestrians. Good furniture, comfortable bed, great bathroom, constant hot water, Sony TV and Bosch dishwasher. Lovely hosts who were welcoming, helpful, and on-site throughout my stay. Brilliant!

Most unwelcoming and took deposit without providing proof

BEWARE - I rarely give 1 star reviews, but this is the worst experience we've ever had. - Upon arriving we were presented with the most aggressive cleaning contract I've seen, where I had to write "yes" next to each line of cleaning duties. We were not informed before of this. Usually places rightly ask to be left as clean as found. This place expected everything to be washed (shower mats, table cloths, mattress protectors, etc). No washing powder was provided. They expected all floors inside and outside to be mopped. I was told the sinks, fridge, etc were expected to be shining like diamond. No cleaning products were provided for this. - We were told by the replacement person greeting us that we could check out a little later. We had a text message the day before we left to say that they had been instructed to tell us that since we're checking out later the house house be left in "impeccable condition". - When the house was inspected it was clean, the mattresses were fine, no damage was done. We were told that since things weren't sparkling they cannot write that it was fully clean. We were told that it wasn't clean enough since there were fingermarks on a picture frame. - Shortly after leaving (before we got to the airport) we had a message from the owner saying that they will take half of the deposit towards cleaning time. They provided no evidence of it being unclean despite requests. Later when I disputed the cleaning cost they fabricated that there was also damage. They said dishes weren't clean, though we used the dishwasher. - The owner refuses to provide a copy of the contract, or any evidence. I believe they use the deposit to make additional profit. Additional problems: - There is only 1 bedroom. The other room with a bed is a boiler room. The boiler makes noise most of the night. It is too small for older children, and without barriers (and hard floor) it's too dangerous for younger. There are no windows and no ventilation. - Upon arriving there was no toilet paper. It was a national holiday so none could be purchased. No dishwasher tablets, nor bin bags. - We found out after booking that they didn't provide linens. I asked if it would be possible if I pay for some, they suggested a significant cost for doing so, additional to the cost of linens. They've now updated. - The shower is low pressure and loses heat (I think when the other attached house uses taps) - The internet is too slow to stream video or browse sites 0.5mb

Ce couple de vacanciers ont laissés leurs 4 jeunes enfants, deux bébés et deux de 2 et 4 ans, tacher tout ce qui se trouvait à hauteur de leurs mains (taches de nourriture sur sièges, murs, portes, mobilier, etc...). Ils n'ont pas effectué de ménage sérieux. Il a fallut 15 heures de ménage d'une professionnelle et aussi repeindre les murs de l'entrée et du couloir. Certains sièges ont dû être changés. Les preuves ont été fournies à Abritel. En conséquence 200€ ont été retenus sur la caution. Nous avons refait les peintures nous-même pour limiter les dépenses et le délai. Les soucis et le stress causé sont énormes. Nous avons cessé les contacts après qu'ils nous aient menacé de créer un blog sur internet pour nous porter préjudice (mail sur Abritel). A son arrivée le vacantier à écrit sa satisfaction concernant l'accueil et la villa (mail sur Abritel). Il a signé l'état des lieux sans aucune remarque. Il y a six couchages bien documentés sur l'annonce, il y a deux lits superposés dans une cabine avec un ballon d'eau chaude. Il y a une supérette au port à 200m de la villa, ouverte le jour de son arrivée, ou le vacantier pouvait acheter les consommables. Les produits de nettoyage sont fournis dans le placard de l'entrée. Le service de linge a été proposé et refusé pour un prix de 25€. La débit de la douche est normal avec une capacité de 200 litres d'eau chaude. L'internet est une box interne du réseau ORANGE avec un WIFI illimité (étant situé proche de montagne, le débit peut être faible selon période). C'est la première fois depuis plus de dix ans que nous sommes confrontés à un tel non respect des biens. C'est malheureux et nous le regrettons.

Gute eingerichtetes, sauberes Appartement mit schönem Garten. Platz für das Auto, zentrale ruhige Lage. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter hat super funktioniert. Es hat alles reibungslos geklappt.

Schöne gepflegte Villa in sehr guter Lage

Die Villa war genau wie in der Anzeige beschrieben. Ein sehr schönes Objekt genau im Zentrum von Argelès sur mer, aber trotzdem in ruhiger Wohnlage. Sehr kurze Wege zum Strand und den umliegenden Restaurants. Die Ausstattung war gut, der Check in einfach und unkompliziert, die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin stets freundlich.

Logement idéal

Très bien situé, une fois les vélos récupérés, toutes les visites, ballades et sorties peuvent se faire sans déplacer la voiture du parking privé et sécurisé. Logement bien équipé et bien entretenu. Un seul bémol, un "vrai barbecue" dans le jardin serait un plus ;)

Nous avons passé 2 semaines formidables dans une maison, avec tout le confort moderne, située à 2 pas du port de plaisance d’Argeles et de ses nombreux restaurants. Nous avons également apprécié la proximité avec la très grande plage. Cette location est conseiller sans hésiter.

Great vacation

This was a great vacation. We were a group of 4 (2 adults and 2 children ages 15 and 18) and our dog. We chose this house primarily for the location. Our daughter wanted beach and our son the mountains and fishing and we wanted to be able to go our at night without the car. It was perfect. A short walk to the beach or harbour and and hours drive inland and you reach castles, gorges and other beautiful nature. The harbour is full with restaurants and shops and has markets and other activities through the week. The house was great, had everything you needed and was in a quiet neighbourhood. The only drawback was that the second room was actually too small for our 2 grown children (it's basically a closet with a bunkbed and no windows) but they were able to comfortably sleep on the pull out couch. The owners were living upstairs when we were there and they were helpful when we needed it, but otherwise we didn't see them. I would definitely come back to this house again.

Semaine relaxante dans un cadre soigné

Nous avons apprécié le charme et la propreté de cette location, merveilleusement située près du port d'Argelès. La décoration est soignée, le jardin magnifiquement entretenu et la terrasse, couverte et ouverte sur la végétation, permet de prendre tous les repas à l'extérieur. Une deuxième terrasse, sur le côté de la maison, est un endroit de charme et de relaxation avec vue sur la montagne. Le calme est absolu alors que l'animation du port est à trois minutes à pied! Les propriétaires nous ont accueilli avec beaucoup de gentillesse et nous avons passé une semaine parfaite dans leur villa. Alain et Hélène Magniant

c’est idéal pour les vacances !

Nous avons apprécié cette belle villa avec la grande pièce à vivre et terrasses très agréables donnant sur le très beau jardin, bien ensoleillé et très calme ! Le propriétaire est entièrement à votre écoute. Tout correspond bien à la description très propre et très bien équipée. Proximité avec la plage et les commerces, bel environnement, la voiture à l’ombre …. Que dire , c’est idéal pour les vacances ! Bravo !! Nous reviendrons et recommandons fortement cette exceptionnelle location !!

EXCEPTIONNEL

Séjour EXCEPTIONNEL. Accueil chaleureux et attentionné, des propriétaires charmants et discrets, qui donnent aussi de bons conseils pour découvrir ce lieu que nous qualifions de paradis. Magnifique logement, propreté irréprochable, moderne, bien agencé, lumineux, équipement sans faille, vaisselle et appareils électro-ménagers de qualité! La terrasse couverte est très agréable et permet de prendre tous les repas en admirant le très beau jardin méditerranéen ! Luxueuse villa, très agréable et AU CALME, situation idéale pour tout faire à 200 m à pieds: plage, port, commerces, restaurants, transports ..... La voiture à l'ombre et en sécurité.Vraiment rien à redire... Nous avons trouvé la location idéale, nous reviendrons et conseillons ce logement les yeux fermés.

Un petit coin de paradis

Si vous rêvez des vacances dans une superbe villa, en bord de mer, avec de l animation et un port à proximité... Ne cherchez plus ! Vous avez trouvé la perle rare !!!!!! Des vacances sans voiture... Au soleil !!!!!! Oui oui ! C est bien ici que vous passerez les meilleurs vacances à argeles sur mer !!!!! Nous sommes une famille avec 2 enfants ( de 4 ans et 16 mois) , nous avons loué la villa la dernière semaine d août de cette année, et je dois dire que nous avons été sous le charme de cette villa et de ses environs durant toute cette semaine ! La villa est spacieuse, moderne et pratique... D un confort exceptionnel et... Rare !!!!!!! Au calme entre le port , la mer et le centre ville ... Une situation exceptionnelle !!!!! Le port se trouve a moins de deux minutes à pied !!!! Il s agit d Un vrai port de plaisance avec ses magnifiques bateaux, son marché deux fois par semaine, ses petits commerces et restaurants ... La plage immense est également à 2 minutes à pied.. Très appréciable avec des enfants en bas âge !!!!! Le centre ville d argeles est très animé avec son marche, ses magasins et ses spectacles nocturne... Nous avons passe d excellentes vacances, et c est en partie Grace aux conseils des propriétaires de la villa qui vous expliquent et vous laissent des indications sympathique sur les lieux incontournables a visiter , les dates et lieux des marchés, les petits commerces à proximité et autres informations bien nécessaires pour vous éviter de perdre votre temps.... L accueil fut chaleureux et il nous a été difficile de quitter ce petit havre de paix !!!!!!! Les enfants ont adore , nous aussi !!!!!! Nous y retournerons sûrement, avec notre famille et nos amis , a qui nous recommandons cette location !!!!!!

Séjour enchanteur!

Cette location est encore plus belle et agréable à vivre que nous l'espérions: la villa est superbe, le jardin privé est très beau (avec vue sur la montagne), très confortable (équipement, espace, modernité), tout est à 200 mètres (la voiture bien à l abri n'a pas bougée), un séjour enchanteur! Location plus qu'appréciable.

Toujours très satisfait de notre location, (c'est la quatrième fois) Les propriétaires toujours aussi accueillants et sympa. L'emplacement idéal, calme et à proximité des magasins, du port et de la plage. Magnifique promenade en bordure de mer et nombreuses choses à visiter. Le propriétaire vous documentera sur place. Bien équipé et très propre. Rien à redire. Petit bémol pas d'accès Wifi, Il faut se rendre à l'office du tourisme pour avoir une connexion.

Location exceptionnelle

Très belle maison individuelle et d'une propreté remarquable. Des propriétaires très sympathique et chaleureux.Ils sont rarement sur place et quant-ils sont présent , ils restent très discret.La plage, le port, et les commercent se trouvent à proximités. Pas besoins de prendre la voiture. Le parking privé et sécurisé est appréciable, et en plus il est couvert, ce qui évite que les véhicules soient en plein soleil.

"Nous avons passé un supe...

"Nous avons passé un superbe séjour dans cette belle propriété. Une vraie trouvaille, joliment décorée, impeccablement propre et lumineuse, très bien équipée et moderne avec un grand séjour et une cuisine américaine en accès direct sur les terrasses. Le jardin privé est magnifique avec des arbres méditerranéens et des jardinières vernissées. Deux grandes terrasses exposées au calme et au soleil avec vue sur la montagne, l’une est couverte ou l’on a pris les repas et l’autre pour les bains de soleil, nous nous sommes reposés comme jamais, c’est le top ! L’emplacement est aussi excellent, la plage, le port, les bars et restaurants, boutiques et commerces, les transports en commun, les bateaux de promenade, tout est à moins de 5mn à pieds par un très joli et sécurisant chemin piétonnier qui longe la propriété, c’est très agréable. Tout autour, ce ne sont que des belles villas habitées à l’année et le grand calme, pour nous c’est le plus bel endroit d’Argelès. La voiture n’a quasiment pas bougée de la villa (le parking est vaste et très bien sécurisé) car il y a beaucoup à faire à Argelès. "Vous ne serez pas déçu de manière général. Propriétaire sympa, emplacement idéale pour accès au port et commerce, pas besoins de voiture pour les courses. Très calme et à deux pas des commerces, restaurants et café etc .... Moi, étant amateur de jet ski, c''est idéale, car le parking de la maison est grand et surtout bien sécurisé. La plage est à deux minutes à pied et la même chose pour le port. Bonne vacance "

"Nous avons apprécié la proprété de cette villa,en effet les propriétaires veillent que leur villa soit impeccable.Tout en étant prés d une route,cette résidence est trés calme.Plutot conseilleé pour 4 personnes que pour 6 car la chambre des enfants est trés petite,sans fenétres et avec le boiller dedans."
