Wonderful Mountain Home

Fresh mountain air at 8500 ft, situated among pine trees, looking toward 11th green with deer wandering through the yard. Close to the slopes for skiing, the country club for dining and golf and numerous hiking trails. Accessible year round.
Angel fire is a wonderful summer place to be part of nature, hike, bike, play golf and tennis. it is 30 minutes to either Taos with its restaurants and artists, Red river with its family activities and less than 10 minutes to Eagle Nest for great fishing. In winter, there is skiing, sledding, snowmobiling, sleigh rides among the winter sports.
Guests have free access to Country Club for Dining and to the parks and playgrounds and for a small fee to fitness center, pool and lake with fishing,canoes and paddle boats. Additional costs for golf and tennis.
check in 3:30, check out 9:30 unless otherwise prearranged. Discounted weekly or Monthly rates do not apply in March or December.

Enjoyable Spring Break

It is an older home with some creaks and squeaks but met all of our needs. We had to schedule showers to ensure good water pressure. The kitchen was well equipped, and we enjoyed the movies and games. The brochures about things to do in the area could be replaced; they are outdated (2017 & older). The location was good, only a 5-7 minute drive to the ski resort. Would recommend 4-wheel drive if staying in the winter. We got around 10" of snow while we were there, and we were thankful for our 4-wheel drive; several vehicles in the neighborhood got stuck alongside the road. The owner was great to work with and very responsive.

Host was very accommodating and the property was great for our family. Kitchen was well stocked, access was great in a very quiet area, and the internet was fast and reliable.

Great home in a magical place

The location of this home was perfect. Very close to shopping and activities. Loved the visiting deer on the property. The host was kind, helpful, and made himself available. We hope to be back.

Very comfortable, great location! Will stay again!

We stayed for 5 days. We had my mother, myself, my husband, our two kids (13 & 15 yrs old) and our 8# dog. There's plenty of room for post-ski board game playing and wonderful movies to watch by the fire. The cabin is very clean, well maintained and fully stocked with everything you could possibly need (deck chairs, firewood, kitchen supplies (sharp knives, cutting boards, pots pans, crockpot, coffee grinder...you name it) plus extra blankets, pillows. The house even had an excellent supply of helpful info like, hiking maps, maps, club/pool hours. The house is small but has a great floor plan, there are 6-7 stairs to get to the entry, so if there's someone in your party not able to manage steps, this might not work. But this place is great. We enjoyed walking around the area and skiing. We would definitely stay here again. The owner was great to work with.

Everything in the house was exactly as promised. Nice area in Angel Fire: close to Country Club, cross country skiing, a lot of paths to walk on. Great to spend a holiday season with family.

WONDERFUL get away!

Our family of five had a wonderful vacation to Angel Fire in this cozy cabin! The cabin was clean and well stocked in terms of items in the kitchen and had a very thoughtful basket of goodies (hot coco/oatmeal packs). The cabin comfortably slept our family and a HUGE bonus to me is the washer/dryer because of traveling with small children =) We loved seeing all the wild life out the windows! What a great view from the loft area in the mornings! The cabin was the perfect location for a family vacation!

The house next door (which we are pictured in front of) is our main home in Angel fire. We split our time between Angel fire and Dallas. When our family grew, we purchased and upgraded this house as overflow for our family gatherings - 5 grown children with 4 spouses and 8 grandkids and an occasional pet. We now rent to other families when our family is not using.
