master bedroom king size bed, 2nd bedroom full size bed, loft has queen bed , futon in game room. full kitchen, laundry room, dining and living room with a sleeper couch, sun porch and game room. TV/movie area, pool table, pinball & video machine, dart board as well as games and puzzles. Covered patio area with charcoal grill and pellet grill. All this in a quiet wooded community close to the East Verde River. Access across a water crossing making the area quieter for our visitors. come and enjoy the wildlife and scenery in our little quiet part of the world. Pet friendly home but pet must be approved. Maximum stay 2 weeks

Great quirky house! The kids enjoyed the game room, basketball and hot tub. The moms loved the quiet of this little valley (other than our children) and having a little warming fire each night. The owner is very kind and is close by for anything you might need. Stay here if your in the area!

This place is sooo beautiful!! The property is backed up right to a river and there's several secluded spots if you keep traveling/walking down the trails. The house/cabin was perfect! So much to do! The game room downstairs was a lot of fun. The fireplace was super cozy and got it pretty warm. The beds are cozy and kitchen was fun to cook in. My puppers had a blast in the backyard and we spent a lot of time in the Jacuzzi. We extended an extra day because we loved it so much. If you're thinking about staying here, do it! There's lots of things to and places to adventure, it's deep out of town and super secluded

Cabin with everything

This was an amazing cabin. It had everything you need from games and entertainment to beautiful scenery. We enjoyed the hot tub under the stars as. Walking to the verde river. So beautiful! Would recommend staying here!

Nice fun house

Had a wonderful time enjoying the jacuzzi and game room. Beds were comfortable and the house comes with anything you could need. Great communication with landlords.

Great stay for families

Lots to do at the actual property as well as the area around. Great for kids. Outdoor area is perfect for hanging out and eating outside. Owner is close for any concerns or questions.

Cute and cozy house perfect for the whole family

This house was exactly as described. We loved every minute of our stay. The house had everything you could think of for a weekend get away. Right outside of Payson, it gave the perfect feel for a weekend in the woods. This friendly community was great for our kids to be outside able to play and go for a walk by the river. We’d love to visit this home again!

Beautiful area NW of Payson

Great location on the Verde River, less than 2 hours outside of Phoenix. Cabin was clean and functional, plenty of games and activities to keep the family busy. The scenery and location to the river was great, wish I brought my fly road to do some fishing.

Love to have you again. The river here is stocked with trout. 1 of the teen age boys that fishes has been catching and selling so we were treated to fresh trout a couple nights ago. cooked on the barbeque with lemon. fresh trout was a treat.

Enjoyed staying so close to national forest land. The creek and going on walks next to it were wonderful. The hideaway has a nice patio with umbrella and pellet grill. Kid really enjoyed the loft. Bathrooms, bedrooms, and fridge were very clean. Floor was dirty and everything in the main area seemed like it had a coating of dust on it…perhaps it had been empty for awhile? But otherwise this place had everything we needed including blender and grilling accessories and a nice big table in the main area for playing games. Game room was neat but remember to bring extra quarters. TV upstairs had Disney and there’s also a screened in porch up there for those interesting in reading. Hot tub was well-maintained and hot! Appreciated the mud room and laundry area being close to the hot tub!!

New years getaway

Property was more in a tighter neighborhood than we expected. With cabins very close. But neighborhood was very respectful and quit. The host gave amazing perfect directions to the cabin and was easy to communicate with multiple ways. Layout of the property was fun, the game room and hot tub were a hit! Great Holiday Getaway

The cabin was perfect for the Christmas holiday - spacious with plenty of entertainment offerings. We are a family of four with two dogs and were very comfortable in the cabin. The kitchen is updated and worked well for cooking family meals. Neighborhood felt safe and the nearby hiking trail was a bonus. Verla was very helpful upon arrival and the detailed instructions in the cabin made our stay seamless.

Great for the family!

Our stay was great! A quick 5 minute walk fishing. The boys caught small fish. The gameroom was great for some fun family competition from pool to a video arcade. The hot tub was perfect after a day of hiking. Verlander was very accommodating on check in and check out times. I had the most relaxing Mother's Day weekend.

Softball Weekend

We stayed here for a softball tournament with 2 moms and 2 girls. They really enjoyed the game area downstairs on their off time (and I enjoyed the pinball)! Verla was great to communicate with and was very prompt to our questions all weekend. She even left a little good luck cake for the girls, which they loved! Thanks, Verla!

Just like home

The cabin was beautiful, loved the personal touches. Bottle of wine, games very cozy. Would love to bring my grandbabies next time. So many things for the kids to do. Especially loved the hand quilted blankets. Only complaint was the mattress in the second bedroom very springy. The jacuzzi was great and our dogs LOVED the yard. Verla was awesome.

Great weekend getaway

My husband and I wanted to get out of the heat for our 2 year anniversary. This property has so many things to do although the time went so fast we didn't get to utilize everything. This place is perfect if you have kids. We have 2 Dachshund's and they loved exploring the back yard. I hope we can return soon and bring our daughter and her family. This would be the perfect location. Thank you Verla and Wes for letting us enjoy your beautiful property.

Wonderful time!

We stayed for two nights on a much needed 'get out of the valley heat' family vacation. Everything was perfect, we loved the cabin. Very family friendly, very comfortable, we loved it. My kids loved the loft area and the pool table downstairs. We had everything we needed for a great mini-vacation. Many extras we didn't anticipate such as books, movies, even toys for my younger children. The owners even left us the ingredients to make s'mores which was a big hit with the kids. Definitely would recommend the cabin to anyone with kids, a big thank you to the owners!

My husband and I were married for over 55 years. He recently passed away and my grandson is with me. We bought and remodeled these homes. We are the proud parents of 2 children and now have added their spouses to our family. Our son and his wife have 2 boys, our daughter and her spouse have 2 girls. We were blessed to find our home in this quiet community. We loved the quiet and solitude here. We were able to build and remodel 5 homes one for us and 4 we are able to share with others. This work was done by my husband and myself. I live down the street from the rentals so I am close by for any needs.

Why they chose this property

We totally have fallen in love with this area so when we had the opportunity to purchase the 3 homes we decided to make them into vacation rentals. We live down the street from the rentals.

What makes this property unique

home owner close by for any problems or questions, area is quiet and children can play outside in the fenced in yard. Surrounded by the national forest area where you can take your quads out riding,(must be street licensed and follow speed limits while in housing area) You can ride out on the Forest roads.
