Huge house with plenty of space for a large group. Pool and location were amazing. However, some considerable work needed to update the house.

Perfect place to stay for big group of friends

We have had a great experience with Francoise and Michel in Methamis! We stayed at their place with a group of friends (16 people) to have a relaxing holiday but also to run and bike the mont ventoux. The villa is great, with a perfect pool and a lot of space for everybody to be outside. The villa itself was very spacious and it was perfect that it had a lot of bathrooms and bedrooms! The location of the villa itself was great as well between sault and Bedoin, so ideal to bike or run the ventoux! Francoise and Michel are really kind and helpful hosts, so I would really recommend to stay at their place in Methamis!

Cycle tourists

Great property, ideal for a large group with pool, outdoor social spaces inc. bar, bbq and dining. Outdoor space could do with some TLC but perfectly functional. We had some problems with the host prior to the stay, so mutually we were asked to provide 1,000 euro deposit which was surprising and also not per contract terms. We had to complain to Vrbo before the host would relent on this. Not a great start to the holiday.

Unforgettable family vacation

Our large extended family from the U.S.all met at this beautiful spot and it was the perfect location for our group of 8 adults and 7 kids. The house easily fit all of us and was very well appointed for large groups, especially the kitchen and dining areas - especially eating our home cooked dinners at the long table outside under the arbor surrounded by the glorious setting sun. Francoise and Michel were such generous hosts, providing wine, fresh cherries, and local cheeses for us, and offering helpful advice with our multiple tourist-related questions. Of course the pool was the most popular spot for the kids and it had stunning vistas of the nearby landscape. The town of Methamis is very small and has a tiny bar and small grocery store which has delicious fresh baked bread and croissants and was an easy 10 min walk from the house. Larger grocery store in Mazan which was about 20 min drive. The location was centrally located to many of the picturesque hills towns such as Venasque, Sault, and Gordes. It is also only about 30 mins from Bedoin if you are a cyclist and want to rent bike there and ride Mt. Ventoux, all of the roads in the area are a cyclists dream. I would love to return to this again sometime snd highly recommend this house!
