HOLIDAYS IN SALENTO: MASSERIA POOL SUN AND SEA! PETS ARE WELCOME!

We are a retired retired professor, I taught business economics and my wife's motor science; we have two daughters and each of us has given us the immense joy of a grandchild (see photo).
We love to travel and have been camper for so many years, while we are stuck, our greatest concern is the care of our farm, its animals and plants, doing our best to keep the structure always welcoming and pleasant to live, so much for us as for our guests

The San Vito farm, which included about 50 hectares of secular olive groves, has been my wife's family since 1878, and in 2001 it has been ours.
The buildings were neglected and decadent, and we decided on the renovation because it was a shame that a construction of the sixteenth century, structurally valid, would only be a stockpile of agricultural tools.
With not a few sacrifices, we have got a comfortable home, equipped with all the amenities and comforts, thinking about our old age, when we do not go out to the camper, and to our daughters; Meanwhile, however, as the maintenance costs are onerous, we have decided to rent and we have found the pleasure of making our guests feel very welcome, who often come from guests and from friends

The stay at the San Vito farm allows a real bucolic life, in contact with nature, without any kind of pollution (in the cultivation of olive trees we adopt the biological system, without the use of chemicals) and is the ideal solution for family vacations.
Adults can relax in so many ways, from reading in the shade of a tree in the vast garden, or by bicycle rides for some countryside countryside, or with a swim in the pool, a foosball and, why not, simply lying to the sunbathing to the edge of the pool.
For children then, San Vito is a total fun: the many games at their disposal (slide, elastic rug, swings, caterpillar, etc.), animals (pony horses, goats, peacocks, geese, turtles, etc.) and so many space at their disposal and in safety, they will make their holiday at the farm a very pleasant reminder, perhaps to make them come back with their children (and your grandchildren .....).
From San Vito, thanks to the excellent road network of our province, you can reach in a few minutes the most interesting tourist destinations of Salento, from the dazzling baroque of the city of Lecce, to the cathedral of Otranto, the narrow streets of the old town of Gallipoli below.
