AWESOME PLACE!

Group of vets got together for Veterans Day we all absolutely loved this place a beautiful location away from the hustle and bustle with no Interruptions.

5th stay and just as great

We love “our country place”! Come here every year and it’s super fun, clean, cozy, games inside and out for the kids, movies, bicycles, and more! Great stay once again.

Stayed here with the family to attend a local music event. If you are 50, this house will remind you of your gradparents house. Great house, plenty of space and beds. Very clean, ac worked great. Comfortable beds and lots of them. Extremely peaceful, pretty setting. If you want some country, this is for you. I would stay here again.

Lovely As Always!

Once again we have enjoyed our stay here on the ranch! I always enjoy the amazing view of sunrise, the sunset and most of all the peace and quiet we get at this gorgeous place.

Great place to stay

We had a lovely time at this property. Upon arrival the water had been turned off accidents but one call and it was promptly fixed. The house was cozy and it was so relaxing being in the middle of a cow pasture. It was neat watching the cows out the kitchen window. It was just very peaceful. We would definitely stay here again!

Father's Day

This is one of our favorite places to stay. Keri is a great host! The property is a great place to get away from the city life to unwind. The sunrise and sunset is always a beautiful site to see. Looking forward to our next visit.

Once again, we were extremely pleased with our stay. Keri is always the greatest of hosts. Some of our family was able to experience this Serenity, as we have many times before. Already looking forward to the next time.

Perfect country holiday trip

This home was perfect! We came to stay for the weekend to drive into Palestine for all the Christmas festivities including the Polar Express train ride. The ranch house is so spacious and kid friendly, has tons of dvds and little toys, games in the garage to set up like bean bag toss, bikes, and most of all the land that we could run around and play and go in the aluminum boat with the kids. House was spotless, had all the essentials needed, great water pressure, firewood for indoor and outdoor fires. We had SO MUCH FUN! We can’t wait to come back!

thanksgiving family get together

The space for perfect for our needs. The kitchen was large and gave us enough space to cook. There was plenty of cooking supplies. The kids loved exploring outside in the open spaces. Seeing deer was a treat and of course the cows. The house is old-fashioned but felt just like being a grandma's house. The smoke alarm is quite sensitive, it goes off when you boil water. However we were able to adjust. It's a great place for a family reunion. The owner was very helpful and responded quickly if we had any questions.

This property was exactly what my family and I needed for our family reunion! Very vintage and fun! The openness with the patio and garage/driveway gave plenty of space outdoors for games and gathering. The home has been well cared for and is so well-equipped for guests! You will be hard-pressed to find a more available, accommodating and communicative host! The cattle were fun to watch and not a bother at all. If you like vintage, comfortable, easy, and serene ... check out this place!

Christmas trip to Polar Express

It was like visiting my late grandmothers house, we loved it. The view of the land is beautiful and wish we would've had more time to enjoy it but we had a full schedule and only a couple days there (plus it was too cold for me outside). I loved having no houses close by yet it was only 20 min to get to Polar Express. We hope to go back and enjoy the home this spring.

Christmas trip to Polar Express

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was like visiting my late grandmother with the decor/age of the house and we loved being away from other homes. We weren't able to enjoy the property like we wanted because we were so busy but it was a beautiful view and we hope to go back for a weekend getaway. The house is only 20 min to Polar Express and different Christmas events in Palenstine.

4th time visiting

The “country house” as my kids now call it was excellent for our 4th stay! House was more stocked than ever with essentials, cookware, and even decorated for Christmas! So cute! Christmas blankets on the bed was a nice touch, we enjoyed them. 30 minute drive into Palestine for Christmas festivites like Polar Express. So much to do at the house- garage is full of yard games, bikes, firewood stocked with big fire pit and outdoor dining table. We being our golf cart and ride out into the pasture to see the cows and the ponds and the kids run around and play. Just a nice quiet relaxing kid friendly getaway!!

Nice classic Texas Ranch

Roomy house with big kitchen and covered back porch. We’ve stayed here three times now and used as base for access to various WMA. Owner is responsive and nice to rent from.

Amazing

This is one of our favorite home away from home getaway spots. To wake up every morning to the view of the sunrise and the livestock passing through lets me know it is going to be a wonderful day. Then to watch the beautiful sunset in the evening is spectacular. The home is very spacious and well equipped for a large family like mine. Our host is one of greatest!

Thanksgiving fun

Super nice . Clean kitchen well equipped . Plenty of space for a family meal and outdoor space. Teens lived the fire pit. Missed the ping-pong game.
