Jackrabbit Ranch is a luxury 16 acre vacation property located in the Baldwin Lake area of Big Bear. It's the perfect location for vacations with family or friends, romantic getaways, ski groups, equestrian stays with your horses, and more!

The ranch is 6000 square feet, has 8 bedrooms and 7 1/2 bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen in the main house and a pool table. There is a 3-stall barn and an open corral on the property, so you can trailer-in your own horses for your stay!

Enjoy the peace and privacy of this private ranch, yet remain only a short 10-15 minute drive from Big Bear Lake, Snow Summit and the Big Bear Village shops and restaurants.

Nearby activities include horseback riding, boating, water skiing, mountain biking, snow shoeing, snowboarding, snow skiing, and zip-lining!

We had a lovely family vacation with entire family including grandkids, adult children and grandparents. Large property with plenty of bedrooms so everyone had their own space. Cooked at home and went out to enjoy local hikes during the day.

We keep coming back!

We love this house. It is perfect for our urban family, and is our 4th time returning. It has a kitchen that is perfect for prepping big dinners, while chatting with friends and family. Every bedroom has an en suite, and the views and grounds are phenomenal. We look forward to next year when we return.

Wonderful Stay

The most AMAZING place to stay!

We had the best time. It was the most perfect place for a big family. It’s almost set up like a bed and breakfast where they have several private bedrooms, all with their own bathrooms. The house is stocked with everything you could possibly need. The property was fun to walk around and play games. We have stayed in a lot of rentals and this place has to be one of the coolest and most memorable. We will definitely be coming back.

House was perfect! Very clean, lots of amenities and being so spacious and spread out was huge plus for our large group. Definitely felt more like we were staying in a hotel.

Fantastic Family Getaway

This property is absolutely amazing. The main kitchen was large and beautiful, the bedrooms were great sizes and the beds were so comfortable. The back of the ranch was a great space for the family to gather and play games. I highly recommend this property to others. Must stay!

Great place to stay!

The property is large and has everything you need for an awesome stay. The kitchen was a good size, and equipped with newer appliances including a dishwasher, 2 ovens, fridge/freezer, and large range. There was snow on the ground during our stay - the secluded backyard was perfect for the kids to make snowmen and have snowball fights. Overall, this place was perfect and we look forward to staying here again!

Cool setting

The Jackrabbit ranch provided a unique ranch feeling setting for our team with multiple buildings for the team to spread out. Great place for a large group with enough bedrooms and beds for many adults. Enjoyed our stay and will consider again if available on our next trip.

Our 2nd time

We liked the place so much that we have decided to rent it 3rd time in 2025. What we liked - away from the town, quiet but we can make noise, rustic look but modern amenities, we can enjoy beautiful sunset as well as sunrise. The property caretaker is superb !!

We had such an amazing time staying at the Jackrabbit Ranch! We had a group of about 22 or so and it perfectly accomdated us.There is so much space and plenty of amenities that Jackrabbit Ranch offers to use! It is very close to a few local hikes as well and has beautiful views from all over the property! We couldn't have had a better time staying here! I highly recommend staying here!

Perfect house for a getaway with multiple families. The house is SO spacious! We relaxed all weekend, truly enjoyed the property. Check in was a breeze and Laurie was a great host. We would love to return one day!
