It was good and AvantStay was excellent in their replies when a small issue came up with sink. They layout of the house is a little strange - its very narrow/tall and I was surprised by how small the bedrooms were, and there was very little closet space which was challenging.

This was an amazing house in a great location. Close to Meeks Bay Beach and local market. House was equipped with all the things we needed and fun games for the kids. There was only beds for 9 but plenty of comfy couches for the 10th person if needed.

Hi Katie,
It’s fantastic to hear that you had a great experience with the home and received excellent communication from AvantStay. However, it's understandable that air conditioning would be a must for those hot summer days. Your feedback is valuable, and hopefully, it can be addressed to make future stays even more comfortable.
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The property was great and location was amazing. Super close to bike trail, lake and hikes. House sits on a culdesac so kids can play without worry of traffic. Kitchen could have been a bit better stocked but we like to cook at home so may not be a big deal for others. I would recommend this house to anyone.
The house was in a nice quiet area. The set up worked well for our group. It has fireplace and large table along with the kitchen and living room on the second level. Bedrooms are on the first and third level.

We had a great time at the house. Very cozy, with all the amenities required for a group of 10. Sauna and hot tub were a plus in this beautiful Tahoe area. Highly recommend. Only small downside is that we had some issues with internet in the frost day but we got it fixed.
Property was generally clean and well appointed. Great for larger group. Just wish they had more emergency equipment (working flashlights, lanterns, generator) as we lost power due to the snowstorm and only had a few candles. Thankfully we travel with flashlights. Otherwise great trip.

Hi Elizabeth,
Thank you for the positive review and feedback. We will make sure to relay this information to our team. We would love to host you again!
This house was perfect for our family. We had 10 people and there was plenty of space. The amenities were awesome! Wish there were screens on the main floor windows, as there isn't A/C and it gets very hot during the day. Location was perfect, too. Loved having the hot tub and sauna. What a treat.
We had a great time. Kitchen was well stocked - they had all the items we needed. The last night, internet went out until we left that morning. Of note, phone reception is terrible so you would need to connect to WiFi. The house appears bigger in pictures than in person as well. So if you have a max allowable number of people staying, it will be a little cramp.

We planned a family road trip from the LA area to celebrate our parents’ 60th anniversary, and this home was the perfect setting for such a special occasion. The bedrooms upstairs were cozy and comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed for home-cooked meals—we made most of our breakfasts and dinners there before and after exploring the lake each day.A couple of highlights: Dad made full use of the jacuzzi (sometimes twice a day!), and our nephew caught five trout on a fishing trip—we grilled them right on the patio BBQ. It doesn’t get better than that. The location was in a lovely quiet neighborhood - I discovered a small trail just a short walk from the house which made for a nice early morning or post-dinner stroll. We’re so grateful to have spent this milestone as a family in such a welcoming, well-appointed home. Thank you for helping make our trip one to remember.

Thank you so much, Minna, for sharing this thoughtful and heartwarming review. It truly means a lot to know the home could be part of such a special celebration for your parents’ 60th anniversary. We're so glad to hear everyone enjoyed the space, from relaxing in the jacuzzi to grilling freshly caught trout! We'd love to welcome you and your family back anytime.
We had an great time as a group of friends on a ski trip and lots of space to hang out and relax in between. The house is well-stocked with kitchen basics and was great for our trip.
Some minor improvements:
--We also could not get the sauna above "110" but it felt much cooler than that. Hot tube was great though, and nice to be in a covered space.
-- The couches were a little uncomfortable and the seating couldn't fit everyone for a movie night but we split between the 2 TVs up and downstairs most of the time.
The shuffleboard was a hit!
Overall we had a great time.

Great place for a family or friends to get together
The house was great. The layout seemed a bit funky at first with 3 bedrooms on the 3rd floor, 2 bedrooms on the 1st floor, and the living areas in the middle, but it actually worked out really well. There isn't an AC unit so in hot weather like we had, the 2rd and 3rd floors were a bit warm, but the 1st floor stayed nice and cool. They do have cooling fans in the upstairs rooms which helped a lot. The kitchen was well furnished and had everything we needed to do our own cooking. We ate most of our meals at the large outdoor table (fits 10-12). The area does have bears, so you need to make sure you turn the bear wire on when you leave or go to bed, then turn it off in the morning. It's a very simple process. The one drawback is the washing machine is noisy and you can feel the vibration from it. Overall it's a great place to stay for a large family or group. We had 10 in our group and didn't feel overly crowded. I would rent this place again.
Overall, our stay was comfortable with a nice cozy feel to the room. The heating system was excellent and kept us warm throughout our visit. However, there were a few drawbacks. The window shades were non existent in the living area, which made it hard to control the light in the room. There was no privacy and it made everyone feel uncomfortable, especially for some photosentive folks prone to migraines. The hot tub, while enjoyable, had a strong chlorine smell that lingered on our skin even after showering.Given the price point, I expected a better coffee experience. The coffee machine provided was subpar, and there was no coffee available at all. Weirdly enough, there were two broken coffee machines in the cupboard. While I don't expect a luxurious welcome basket, basic amenities like coffee should be included. The washer worked great but that drier was soo loud due to the motor being of its mount & the rattling became so prominent as to make watching tv unbearable. We exhausted our supply of toilet paper and paper towels, despite using them judiciously, which is entirely unacceptable. These minor issues slightly detracted from what was otherwise a pleasant stay. Thank you.

We truly appreciate your feedback regarding the window shades, hot tub, coffee amenities, and other details. We apologize for the inconvenience with the dryer noise and the shortage of toilet paper and paper towels. We’ll work to ensure that these issues are addressed for future stays. We hope to host you again and provide a more seamless experience next time!
The house was completely furnished with everything one needs for a vacation like this. The kitchen had everything needed, the place was immaculately clean, comfortable beds, plenty of towels, an excellent hot tub, and the manager, Eddie, was available anytime and very helpful when needed.
