Wonderful family retreat

Enjoyed a super week with sunny October weather here. Wonderful location so close to Dieppe but secluded and quiet. House was great, plenty of space for the 8 of us and comfortable beds. Owner very friendly and happy to answer any questions quickly. We would definitely return!

Verblijf Offranville

Het huis was heel slecht onderhouden, smerig en was totaal niet wat de advertentie deed geloven, de tuin was een grote wildernis met loslopende katten en zelfs een rat 🙄 , die allemaal deden of ze er hoorden!! We zijn een paar dagen eerder vertrokken omdat ik me zeer ongemakkelijk voelde in het huis en in de tuin , voor ons zonde van het geld en nooit weer ! Esther

Excellent séjour. Deux améliorations à apporter.

Très bon accueil et disponibilité de la propriétaire. Lits confortables, belle décoration, nous nous sommes crus dans un livre d'Agatha Christie. Plage de Pourville très agréable, GR 20, ville de Dieppe, le marché, les fruits de mer, le barbecue de la maison, tout cela très bien. A améliorer : ajouter modes d'emploi pour le jacuzzi et la cuisinière électrique... et surtout la wifi est très aléatoire. Il vaut mieux dire qu'on ne peut y accéder, car cela évite de transporter un matériel inutile et de la déception...

Belle maison mais...

Manque d'entretien. Beaucoup de saletés dans toutes les pièces donc manque de propreté. impossible de ranger ses affaires dans les armoires car trop de poussière. Canapés dans le salon très inconfortables. Proximité d'une route. Jardin non sécurisé car non fermé avec stationnement de voitures.

Une vrai maison de vacances, bien équipée, joliment décoré. Le seul petit défaut un peu de bruit quand on est dans le jardin avec la route à proximité Mais les enfants ont adoré avec les poules dans le jardin

Très bon séjour

Nous avons pu passer de très bonnes fêtes de Noël dans ce grand gîte, spacieux et bien équipé. Chacun a trouvé sa place ! Seul petit point noir, l'absence de wifi, mais nous avons survécu !

Schönes Haus mit kleinen Abzügen

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub, die Gegend ist toll und die Vermieterin sehr freundlich und kommunikativ! Folgende Punkte hätten wir gerne vorher gewusst: 1) Viel befahrene Landstraße nebenan: Wir haben das Haus wegen des idyllischen Gartens ausgewählt, der tatsächlich sehr schön ist. Allerdings ist gleich neben dem Zaun (ca. 5 Meter vom Haus entfernt) eine stark befahrene Landstraße. Draußen sitzen und essen wurde durch die Geräuschkulisse gestört, auch bei offenem Fenster (aus-)schlafen war schwierig. Wir waren selbst verwundert wie laut Autos sein können. Wer geräuschempfindlich ist, würde ich die Wohnung nicht empfehlen. 2) W-LAN beschränkt: Wir hatten kein bzw. kaum W-LAN im Haus. Clotilde erklärte uns, dass es W-LAN nur im Wohnzimmer und der Veranda gibt. NICHT in Esszimmer, Küche, Schlafzimmer unten oder im zweiten Stock, wo die anderen Schlafzimmer sind. Der Router + Verstärker sind nämlich im Nebenhaus und dieses ist ca. 15 Meter entfernt. Clotilde hat sich sehr bemüht, den Empfang zu verbessern und den Router ans Fenster des Nebenhauses gestellt und wollte auch einen besseren Verstärker besorgen. Allerdings ist es bei der Distanz schwierig, die Verbindung gut zu machen. Wir haben zu 98 Prozent mobile Daten verwendet. 3) Das Haus ist sehr schön und man merkt wie altehrwürdig es ist. Allerdings würde ich es Menschen mit Allergien nicht empfehlen. An manchen wenigen Stellen sieht man Schimmel und das Haus hat einen starken Eigengeruch. 4) Kommunikation und Bezahlung kompliziert: Wir haben über fewo-Direkt gebucht und die Anzahlung über fewo-Direkt gemacht. Dann wurde es aber kompliziert: Den Rest sollten wir nicht über FeWo-Direkt zahlen, sondern privat bei der Ankunft. Ich wollte es über FeWo-Direkt zahlen, aber das wurde explizit nicht gewollt. Es hat am Ende alles sehr gut geklappt, aber ich habe mich nicht wohl damit gefühlt und ich hätte es mir anders gewünscht. Zudem wurde gebeten, die Kommunikation auf Whatsapp zu wechseln. 4) Wir haben an einem Tag den Whirpool ausprobiert, doch es hat bei Bedienung der Whirpool-Funktion nach Fisch oder Algen gerochen. Deswegen haben wir es nicht mehr verwendet. Vielleicht geht der Geruch nach einiger Zeit weg. Baden ohne Whirpool kann man allerdings sehr gut. FAZIT: Für eine große Gruppe bietet das Haus viel Platz und es ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Insbesondere die laute Landstraße und das beschränkte W-LAN sollten allerdings in der Beschreibung angegeben werden.

Destination agréable

Maison spacieuse disposant de tout le nécessaire pour un séjour agréable. La location est située dans un endroit calme et arboré proche de la plage de hautot-sur-mer et de la ville de Dieppe. La propriétaire est très sympathique et arrangeante concernant les horaires d'arrivée et de libération de la location.

La maison de Clotilde est très jolie, nous avons passé 1 excellent week-end. Hôte très arrangeante, nous étions 12 dont 2 enfants, nous n étions pas les uns sur les autres. 👍 je recommande.

Agréable gîte alliant mer et campagne

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans le gîte. Nous étions nombreux mais la maison est grande et très agréable. Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables. Proximité de la mer et de la voie verte.

Een charmant maar vervallen huis in een vuile omgeving

Toen we aankwamen was het serieuze opdoffer. Een verwilderde tuin met oude stallen waarvoor en waarrond allerlei vuil lag opgehoopt. Het huis staat ook naast een huis onderverdeeld in vakantieappartementen. Van privacy was geen sprake. Ook het huis zelf was niet proper. De ramen waren in geen jaren gepoetst en pas nadat we arriveerden moest nog de oven worden gereinigd en een koffieapparaat gebracht. Verschillende lichten gingen niet en de keuken van ongeveer 16 m² dateerde uit de vooroorlogse jaren. Er was slechts 1 kleine frigo ter beschikking voor een huis berekend op 12 personen, 1 spoelbak zonder bassin om af te spoelen, geen aanrecht, … Dit huis krijgt 1 ster om de charme die het ongetwijfeld heeft gehad en die ervan zou kunnen uitgaan mocht alles grondig worden opgekalefaterd. Laat je niet bedriegen door de foto's!

An amazing holiday in Normandy

This was an opportunity for a family holiday together - three generations ranging from grandparents to a baby in arms. Ideal accommodation, a large family home that can be divided to allow for the different age groups. We were fortunate with the weather and visited different beaches each day all recommended by our hostess who was very helpful and keen to ensure we had an enjoyable and relaxing holiday. The beach at Varengeville-su-Mer has wide expanses of sand at low tide and Veules-les-Roses is a quaint seaside village. We spent many hours relaxing and reading in the garden alongside the stream and of course there was a barbeque for dinner each evening. A memorable holiday in comfortable and spacious accommodation.
