This is a very nice property, lots of room, nice lake, very relaxing. The lake is small but very nice. The cabin worked well for our family. The bedrooms are well appointed and has everything you need. The kitchen had everything we needed and having an additional fridge in the game room was helpful. The two docks, kayaks, swimming dock and pontoon were all used and thoroughly enjoyed by our kids and grandkids.Tom answered any questions we had very promptly.
Our stay was great! Very much enjoyed the screened in porch with the view of the lake while enjoying our coffee in the morning. Very nice bedrooms and comfortable beds.
Great place to unplug. Had a short stay for a few chilly days in October. Enjoyed the peace, quiet, fall color, nearby towns and lake.Owner was easy to communicate with and answered all questions. Gracious host, would highly recommend.
Been to this place many times and we have always had a blast. Cabin has been added onto and even more impressive. If you are looking for a place to go this is it.

Thank you. Always awesome to have you each year. See you next summer.
We all had a wonderful time. Something to do for all ages, fishing was great, the kayaks, paddle boat and raft were in use all day. Beautiful home, clean, well stocked and plenty of room for everyone. The addition is awesome and the new screen porch is a great place to kick back. We would definitely enjoy a return trip!!
Our stay was fun and relaxing. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. The fall colors were amazing and the lake was beautiful. Hope to stay here again!
This cabin was even better than the pictures. We had a great time fishing and caught a lot! Mainly bass and some nice size pan fish. We enjoyed all of the boats available. Had fun playing ping pong and some of the games provided. Loved hearing the loons and seeing the eagles flying over everyday. Also a momma deer and her two fawns could be seen often. Our only regret was a week wasn’t long enough!
A fun and relaxing getaway. We took advantage of the paddle boat, kayaks, ping pong table and out door fire pit. The lake is small but clean and surprising quiet. The fishing was good too!
The property was gorgeous and so relaxing. The listing is a little misleading though. There is internet but it does not work. There is a washer/dryer, but you aren’t supposed to use them. Same with the a/c. You’re only supposed to take 5-10 min showers. These are things just don’t want to have to worry about on vacation. Very nice place but LOTS of rules.

Thank you for your review. We have not had any issues with being misleading. There is 3G internet and it works fine. If it was down, you could contact me to see about line problems. Although, It will not take 4 streaming and gaming devices at same time. Please keep in mind this is a rural area. There is nothing about not using the A/C. We do shut it down when the temps get below 67. You were easily able to cool it down for one odd warm day. But it was left at 66, when it was 55 degrees outside. We ask people to use energy like you would at you own home by being energy conscious. For the 10-minute showers, we do ask to just be aware that we are on a holding tank and don't want to have people taking unnecessary long showers, so the alarm doesn't go off because of excessive water usage. But hey, if you feel like a 15 minute one, go for it. This is just a request. It helps keep rental rates low as possible. All this is online and in the agreement upload, so please review it before booking so that comments are accurate. And to make sure this is the right place for you.
This was our 4th time at this cabin. We have been to four others with our family only because this one was not available the week we had vacation. Cabin is great, lake is perfect and owner is great to work with.
My family stayed at Tom’s cabin for four days and had a wonderful experience. Tom has excellent detailed communication and even told us where the best places to fish. Great experience.
The property was beautiful and so spacious! The addition of the screened in porch overlooking the lake was amazing. The flies are pretty bad this time of year so it was nice to enjoy the outdoors without working about them biting! The only thing that was not clearly stated in the listing was that the water supply can be an issue if you are not careful. Showers were to be limited to 5-10 minutes and we were unable to use the washing machine without being charged extra. I wish this would have been more clear in the listing. Otherwise, a great place that was so roomy!
Booked this location for a relaxing weekend away with my husband and some friends to celebrate my birthday.
We thoroughly enjoyed the cabin/location, as it was spacious and cozy for the four of us! With the snow, we enjoyed some board games, an indoor fire, and exploring the area of Cumberland/Comstock.
Tom’s kindness, quick responses, and overall assistance with not only the booking process, but also with a question we had during our stay was greatly appreciated as well! We would definitely stay here again!!
This was our first time staying at this property. Everything matched the listing description and pictures. Tom,the owner, is great and super responsive. The lake is perfect for swimming and floating. There are kayaks and a canoe for use as well. Kitchen is well stocked! We will be back. Pretikitchen.
We had a great stay, but a couple downfalls. There were several sets of stairs down to the beach area. The pier was small, and there was a large pontoon boat (that we were told was unavailable to us) taking up the majority of the beach area. Other than that, the fishing was fair but not great. The house was beautiful, fire pit area was great and well stocked with wood. All in all, we enjoyed our stay.

Thank you for visiting our home. if I remember correctly you also brought a fishing boat. Things get tight on the pier with an additional boat. The dock is 24 feet with a 6x8 ft. patio at the end. This is a good size dock for this size lake. Starting already this year we have a new dock coming in so the owner's boat will not interfere with guests' activities. We will now have 2 -24 ft. docks with seat, ladder, etc. The sandy swimming area will be expanded....cant wait.
