About this property
Slice of Sedona-Guest Fav, Ideal Location, Redrock Views, Modern Decor, Hot Tub
This beautiful home, named “Slice of Sedona”, provides immediate access to all that Sedona offers. Its remarkably convenient location to everything is nestled in a very quiet area in west Sedona.
The home is just .3 mile from the trailhead to the large Old Post network of hiking/mtb trails, and less than a mile (walkable!) from the nearest grocery. Many of the best restaurants, art galleries, breweries, downtown shops, theater, unique stores, spas and services, bike and jeep/atv rentals are very close. Oak Creek Canyon and the majority of the most sought after hiking/biking trails and red rock formations are just a quick jaunt away. West Sedona offers the best of all worlds! And, you’ll avoid the traffic hassles that often occur in other areas such as uptown and chapel.
The home was built in 2005 with wonderful amenities! 10’ ceilings, hardwood floors in LR/DR, granite countertops, an open floor plan, solid knotty-pine doors, great artwork, gas fireplace, and spacious rooms await you. The neighborhood is extremely quiet. And, solar has been added for a greener footprint.
The master suite encompasses the entire upstairs and features a gorgeous King bed with memory foam mattress with a memory foam topper for plushness (easily removed if a firmer feel is desired), a sitting area with views, blackout shades, and a TV. The master bath has 2 granite-topped vanities, jetted tub with a window overlooking red rock views, a walk-in shower, a separate lavatory room, and a walk-in closet. Gorgeous views exist from the bedroom window.
The private master bedroom balcony, with seating for 4, offers photographic red rock vistas to the west and north. You’ll love it to watch the shadows play on the rocks in the evening as the sun sets.
The open-concept lower level has a well-appointed and fully stocked kitchen featuring a spacious pantry, convection/air fryer oven, blender, coffee maker, Keurig, teakettle, toaster and more, plus an open island with bar stools for seating. The kitchen opens into the combined living and dining area with a table for 6-8. The living area sports a 70” TV with YouTube TV,, a sound system that can stream via Bluetooth, a Blue-ray DVD, and contemporary leather sectional seating. The gas log fireplace is easily lit via electronic ignition. Fast WiFi is included.
The 2nd bedroom offers a strikingly cool southwest King bed with a plush memory foam mattress, blackout shade, and large walk-in closet.
Bedroom 3 has 2 twin beds, plus one twin trundle and one roll-away twin for overflow accommodations. It offers a nice view of the back yard and outdoor seating area.
The lower bath features a granite vanity top, southwestern tiled floor, tub/shower, and nice storage area for your personal things.
Outside, through the kitchen door, is a deck with a pleasing view, good landscaping and an adobe wall inset with a mission style bell (courtesy of the neighbor). great for morning coffee happy hour, or just to hang out and enjoy the weather.
A gas grill is just off the deck stairs. Farther into the backyard is an inviting seating area with 6 log-style Adirondack chairs, situated just above a dry creek lined with red rock. It’s a delightful place for an evening gathering, or nighttime viewing of the stars.
A generous laundry room features new oversized washer and dryer.
The spacious 2 car attached garage, with a garage door opener & keypad, makes access to your vehicle easy. It also has plenty of room for any bikes or other items that you bring with you.
A Red Rocks parking pass is provided, so that you won’t have to pay the $5 daily fee at the numerous trailheads. Also provided is a pair of walking sticks, and a daypack to carry water and needed items on your hikes.
A 6 person hot tub will be installed in late September, so October and later guests can enjoy the beautiful weather and night sky relaxing in our new tub, to be located just off the back deck.
