OLD HOUSE OF STONE 12 KM SEA POOL OASI RELAX BARBECUE

We are in the belly of the Ligurian hinterland, the most natural one: the ideal place for a peaceful holiday, away from cars and time.

About ten km from the sea, in an immense natural olive grove that from Dolcedo arrives, after a few km, in Lecchiore, is "La casetta", an INDEPENDENT house in old local stone, on two floors, with a small terrace overlooking the sea among the olive trees and the sky.
It is a former stable, completely renovated inside in 2001, leaving the characteristic local stone on the outside: every detail has been carefully taken care of, given the originality of the house.

Upstairs is the living area, with a large kitchen, a sitting room with TV and a beautiful terrace. The internal stairs lead to the floor below, where the sleeping area is located, with the bathroom with shower and the washing machine: a single bed + another pull-out bed welcome the children in a characteristic niche under the stairs, and a door leads to the separate double bedroom.
The house is ideal for a COUPLE, or for a family (parents and two small children), pets are welcome.
The price is all inclusive (wifi internet, private and reserved parking under the house, access to the swimming pool and bbq area), to bring your own SHEETS AND TOWELS.
In winter (from October to March) the rental cost does not include WIFI, heating and electricity costs.

The new relaxation oasis swimming pool, renovated in 2019 and renewed in 2022 with a new salt filtration system, stands among the olive trees and will be open until FROM JUNE TO SEPTEMBER: the pool measures 11 x 5 meters, with Roman steps access, and is surrounded by a vast lawn of 160 square meters, brand new, on two levels, fully equipped, where the new built-in barbecue is located, for tasty grills between one dip and another. All the access walls have been redone, using local stone.

The swimming pool was conceived, designed and built to accommodate GUESTS OF OUR OTHER HOUSE that we rent in Lecchiore, adjacent to La Casetta, WITHOUT ANY SPACE PROBLEM: each family has an equipped and private area of ​​the large lawn.

La Casetta is located at the end of the village of Lecchiore, on the edge of which there is a large wood: we are in the open countryside, among the olive trees which, in the winter season, produce one of the finest extra virgin olive oils in Italy. The carriage road, which passes 100 meters below the house, ends after 1 km, therefore the place is very quiet.
A few steps from the house, the wood begins where, after a few minutes' walk, you come across splendid natural freshwater lakes, immersed in the greenest nature: the water is crystalline green, a swim is a must!

On the coast (about 20 minutes by car) the new cycle path winds for 24 km overlooking the sea. from San Lorenzo to Ospedaletti: delightful little beaches and inlets, bars, games for children (bikes can be rented at the start in San Lorenzo).
Imperia offers beautiful beaches, sand or stone, free or for a fee.
Sanremo is 35km away, Montecarlo 70km away, Genoa and its famous Aquarium 120km away.
Even the villages of our hinterland, of which Lecchiore belongs, are not to be missed: walks, historical and natural views, and last but not least, good trattorias, where you can eat well and drink better.

Before leaving, don't forget to buy the precious extra virgin olive oil right under the house, at the sales point of your friend Nicola del Frantoio Asplanato, while for the local and genuine wine, you cannot miss a visit to San Benedetto, in a large vineyard 3 km from the sea (in Artallo, Imperia).

Sun, sea, swimming pool, good food and good wine: excellent ingredients to spend a timeless holiday in "La Casetta"...
