Very good place, centraly located such that you can get to Saint lo and Bayeux very quickly. Saint lo 1p min. Bayeux 25 min. Also, very easy to get to Omaha and Utah beaches. The host is very responsive thru mail. No shopping around the house so, you need a car. Recomended to all.

Cottage at Berigny

We very much enjoyed our stay. The cottage was very cosy and just as we imagined it. The ambience of the cottage reflected that it was our host's own home, rather than just a property they were renting out. Our hosts were welcoming and friendly.

Holidays in Normandy

We spend a lovely holiday in a great environment. Despite our basic knowledge of French the communication worked very well. Our landlords gave us a wonderful welcome. We will definitely go there again.

Lovely old house deep in the Normandy countryside. The hosts gave us a warm welcome. Lovely front garden, which was great for playing with our dog, as it's difficult to access the countryside around for dog walks as it's mostly farmland. If you plan to arrive on a Sunday, as we did, make sure you have initial provisions (food and drink at least) as there are no shops open on a Sunday, nor are there nearby restaurants open on a Sunday evening, so go prepared! Very peaceful location if you want to get away from it all. We were also blessed with fine warm weather for visiting the D Day beaches, which are a bit of a drive away, but well worth visiting if you're interested in the events that took place there. We had a very enjoyable stay.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour, à 30 mn des plages du débarquement ou nous avons fait de belles rencontres avec des Cadets irlandais, des personnes en tenues d'époque, une infirmière vétérante, toutes les structures et musée......un voyage enrichissant !Le logis est une maison authentique , fonctionnel. Zeer goed en gastvrij ontvangen. Alles in het Frans, hier en daar liet onze kennis te wensen over, maar dat lag zeker niet aan de verhuurders, geen moeite was hun te veel!! Alles is aanwezig in dit karaktervolle en grote huis, we hebben, mede door het prachtige weer, een topweek gehad👍👍

Viviane und Yves haben uns ihr eigenes Haus zur Verfügung gestellt, während sie mit ihrem Wohnmobil zum Segeln gefahren sind. Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Es hat an nichts gefehlt, und wir haben die Ruhe und den Garten sehr genossen. Das Haus lag für uns ideal, da man alle Sehenswürdigkeiten und Küsten in gleicher Entfernung hatte. Die einzige Anmerkung, die ich machen möchte, wäre die Ausstattung mit Dusch- und Händehandtüchern etwas zu verbessern. Diese war sehr knapp für die 9 Tage bemessen.

Les propriétaires qui nous accueillent eux mêmes mettent à disposition leur maison très bien entretenue et équipée. Un environnement hyper calme, un beau jardin fleuri, rien ne manque pour passer des vacances réussies dans une région riche en paysages et en émotions. A recommander sans hésiter !!

Een aanrader! Het verblijf voldeed aan het voor ons typisch Franse vakantiegevoel. Het compleet ingerichte ‘brocante’huis is van alle gemakken voorzien met een geweldige tuin om in te relaxen waar je alleen het geluid van de vogels hoort. Viviane en Yves-Marie zijn zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij en nemen de tijd om je bij aankomst wegwijs in het huis te maken.

Ruim huis met veel rust

We zijn hier met ons gezin geweest. (Kinderen 11 & 8 jaar) We hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad. Er was genoeg ruimte in huis en ook buitenshuis voor 4 personen. De gastvrouw was heel aardig.

Een heerlijk rustige plek met grote tuin.

Hartelijk welkom door de eigenaren. Het huis is gedateerd en museumachtig ( voor "liefhebbers" geen probleem). Er is verder alles wat je maar nodig hebt (en zelfs 2 open haarden voor als het wat koud is). Vele bezienswaardigheden zijn binnen 30-60 min. bereikbaar.
