About this property

Lovely, traditional and independent basque in a peaceful location

Mariaren Etchea is a basque style family home that we have fully renovated as our home away from home. Comfortable and peaceful, it is on a street with little traffic where parking its car is very easy and entirely secured. Its north-south facing and has an arboured park that leads to a pine forest which allows you to spend your holidays, in a peaceful and discreet setting. The large, single storey terrace connected to the living room allows you to enjoy the sun loungers, get a tan or cook with the grill. (The north-facing kitchen enjoys of a comfortable coolness). If you want to enjoy our home during the cooler months to discover the Basque country, it is equipped with a central heater for your comfort and bay windows to enjoy nature. We just want you to spend a nice holiday while respecting this place as your own!

Belle et grande maison avec une terrasse en bois très agréable et un jardin donnant sur des bois. La maison est bien équipée. A noter cependant une odeur de renfermé dans la maison.

Très bon contact avec la personne chargée de l’accueil. La maison est conforme au descriptif. À noter bruit de fond de l’autoroute lorsqu’on est sur la terrasse certains jours. Location correcte dans l’ensemble.

Maison fonctionnelle et bien distribuée (chambres bien séparées), grande terrasse sur le jardin avec de grands arbres au fond. Maison très bien équipée avec beaucoup de vaisselle et tout le mobilier de jardin nécessaire.Voiture recommandée, arrêt de bus à 5 min pour aller directement à Saint Jean de Luz, Bayonne et Bidart. Nous avons loué des vélos électriques pour plus d’indépendance les uns par rapport aux autres. Yvette qui s’occupe de la maison est très agréable et très arrangeante.Points négatifs: internet lent et rumeur de l’autoroute plus ou moins audible. Peut-être quelques oreillers supplémentaires

Très bien

Maison dans un quartier résidentiel calme. On peut faire les courses à pied. Pour les jolies balades, un étang en pleine nature à 3 km. Tout autour, des plages, de bons restaurants, de magnifiques parcours de golf et des frontons. Tout pour réussir ses vacances. Cela fait déjà quatre ans que nous revenons….

Bonnes vacances dans l’ensemble

Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances. Un regret notre maison est trop loin de la plage ou même de l’océan. On ne peut y accéder que avec la voiture.
