Maison Reve I 3 BD 2 BA Home in Quaint Cheshire Village

French for the "house of dreams," Maison Reve is a beautiful townhouse in the Village of Cheshire in Black Mountain. Two-level living with a private entrance and front porch that overlooks green space. Sit in the living room and enjoy the ambiance of the gas fireplace or soak in the wonderful master bathtub. Minutes from all of the shops and restaurants of downtown Black Mountain. Within walking distance of the Cheshire Fitness Club, which offers a pool, gym, and tennis courts.

House Layout:
Main floor- Kitchen; Dining area with seating for 4; Living room with gas logs fireplace, and TV (cable & DVD); Primary bedroom with King bed and en suite bath (walk-in shower & soaking tub).
Upstairs- Bedroom with Queen bed; Bedroom with Double bed; Full hall bath with shower & tub combo.

Please Note: For your convenience, linens (sheets and towels) are included. Monthly special from January through April: rent for $2,995 per month. Included with the monthly rent is a $100 per month power allowance, a $50 water allowance, and a $50 natural gas allowance.

Parking is available for one smaller/compact car in the garage. We kindly ask that you do not block the shared back entrance and keep this area clear for neighbor access. Additional parking is available on the gravel overflow in Poe Alley and along the street in front of the townhouse.

We enjoyed our stay at the property. The town of Black Mountain is near by and quaint. Very accessible to Asheville. Everything was clean and the layout worked well for 2 adults and 2 children. We also enjoyed sitting on the covered front porch in the morning and at night.

Long Weekend in Black Mountain

Nice place in a convenient part of Black Mountain. Local restaurants within walking distance. Downtown Black Mountain is a 2-3 minute car ride. Would recommend.

Weekend stay

Property was clean and well organized. Football weekend could have had a larger TV in living room and a TV in each of the upstairs bedrooms. Entry was easy with electronic deadbolt. Checktime was 4 PM, even though house was checked we had to wait til 4pm (just a little nuisance). The check in email was detailed with all pertinent information.

Great stay!

We rented this property for a family wedding weekend. The home was absolutely lovely! Very comfortable! The only issue we had was the neighbors - they wanted to make sure we knew only one car was allowed and other vehicles needed to park in a different location away from the house. We tried to ensure anyone coming in and out was aware of the parking rules but they made sure to let us know if someone failed to comply. We got the impression the permanent residents are not fond of rentals in their neighborhood, which is a shame. This is a lovely home, great location, great accessibility! The home itself was top notch!! Thanks so much for allowing us to stay!

Great location

We love the Cheshire Village area. Our stay at Maison Reve was very nice. There are not TVs in the upstairs bedrooms, and there were some broken things in the garage that could be cleaned up to limit the clutter. Overall though, we liked it. It was clean, and we love the area. Nice to be able to park in the garage, but only parking for 1 car. Love Cheshire, but parking is a challenge for some properties.
