Perfect stay in Florence!

Our family had a lovely stay at Anna's flat in Florence! It was easy to find and a great location within walking distance to all of the major sightseeing, restaurants, shopping and train station. Very quiet and cozy. Anna was great with helping us find the flat and gave us recommendations and directions that were perfect. Highly recommend!

Perfect stay

Such a gem. Our apartment was in the perfect location and had such character. It was walking distance to everything including the train station. Anna our host , gave us so many great recommendations which we truly appreciated. We had everything we needed there and highly recommend for anyone wanting to stay in an apartment over a hotel.

Great Florence flat!

Great location. Flat is warm and charming. Very friendly and helpful host/property manager/owner. Would highly recommend this flat to visitors to Florence. I was in Florence for a few days with my wife and teenage daughter and it worked very well for us.

Family Florence Trip

Loved the location of the property and it's old rustic charm. It was amazing! Didn't realize the second floor was 3 flights of stairs. It got us in shape fast. Thankfully we brought our older kids to help with the luggage, since no lift-elevator in this older property. We had and wonderful time in Florence and will definitely be back!

Wonderful is not a strong enough world!

Anna has thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. Not just extra towels, but we had toilet paper, and laundry soap. The kitchen was fully equipped. We arrived to a very clean and spacious flat, that had a very comfortable living room, where we could talk about our days adventures. Two bathrooms were an absolute plus!!! Anna even reserved a taxi for us, for 4am! The horror stories about trying to get a taxi in the wee morning are nerve racking, specially if you can speak Italian. We stayed for a week and loved every minute of it! Thanks Anna, hope to see you soon.

Definitely, a "home away from home"

What can I say, except this apartment was just amazing! From my initial contact with Anna, the owner a year and a half ago until the moment we arrived she was gracious and informative. The apartment was beautifully decorated and homey. The kitchen has everything you need, the whole apartment does. Its location was fabulous. It was conveniently situated from La Accademia and Il Duomo and literally a block away from The Basilica of San Lorenzo as well as El Mercato Central. Everything was easily accessible and wonderful. Our five week stay really did feel like our home away from home. The neighbors were amazing and everyone was friendly. Thank you Anna for being so gracious and immediately available when we needed you. We will definitely return as Firenze will always have a special place in our hearts. Grazie Anna!!

Perfect place to stay in Florence

We loved our stay here. We were sad to leave! There was ample room for us to wind down at the end of the day. So many places to find a quiet space in the very spacious flat. The decor was charming. Anna was EXCEPTIONAL at communication. She was flexible, accommodating, and prompt. The location was ideal! We felt like we belonged in the neighborhood within a few hours of our stay. We were mere blocks from gorgeous cathedrals, everything we needed at our fingertips too. Florence is very walkable and this flat is located centrally. We walked to and from the train station (we had only one carry on and a backpack each), it took 10 minutes. We made use of the washing machine - part of why I booked this flat and why we were able to pack the full trip into one carry on each. It took our clothes 2 days to dry on the provided drying racks. We would go to Anna's again in a heartbeat, and will pass the location to friends and family.

The apartment is situated in a great location. It is easy walking distance to many of Florence’s major attractions. Additionally, there are many nice restaurants within a five minute walk of the apartment.Anna was a great hostess. Her replies to my questions were prompt and she even sent me a list of recommended places to eat in the area. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this property again.

Great experience!

We really loved how authentic this apartment was, the privacy it gave each couple, and the FABULOUS location!! Anna was so very helpful when our arrival was delayed (trains stopped that day!) and we had to find another way to get to Florence. It was great to have a wonderful restaurant just a few doors down, and all of the attractions, restaurants and shopping just steps away! Perfect location and excellent stay!!

Very centrally located and easy access to the many restaurants and key sights. Also easy access to the train station. The property is clean and the host was good to work with providing us with ideas of where to eat and how to navigate the area

Charming Apartment

Anna is the loveliest host. She is responsive and welcoming. The apartment is spacious and extremely clean. It is beautifully decorated and in excellent condition. The layout is great for families. Our one complaint was the noise. It seems we are the first guests to complain about noise, however we are former Manhattanites and used to noise. There is a nightclub at street level below the apartment and it is open until 2:00 am every day with live DJ Thursday through Saturday and some Sundays. Patrons can drink and party on the front patio as well. It was very loud. It kept us all up very late every night. That is our only negative. Otherwise the apartment was absolutely great.

Beautiful stay

We had a beautiful stay at this authentically Italian apartment loft. It was clean, had everything we needed, even a special gift waiting for us when we arrived. Anna was a great host. She gave us great insight to the best restaurants, wineries and places to see. It was so nice to spend a few days there-the location was perfect for us. 15 min walk from the T2 train to & from the airport.

Wow! Perfect Location and Beautiful Home

Great location!

This apartment is in a wonderful location allowing for a walkable experience. It is close the the Duomo and Market Centrale, many restaurants, cafes, and shopping. It is located up 2 levels of steep stairs (not difficult for young adults and children, but a bit difficult for older people). No lift available. Check-in was a bit confusing as I had inquired about holding our luggage until check -in, which she graciously agreed to do. The day we arrived, the host was unavailable, so her assistant was supposed to meet us. No one showed up, leaving us stuck outside, locked out of building with all our luggage. After quite some time, we eventually were able to leave our luggage, but were exhausted climbing stairs with luggage trying to find the apartment since no one showed up to meet us. Otherwise, the apartment offered plenty of room for 6. One bedroom is in the loft area - great for kids. Sofa pull out below the loft, and 1 bedroom with twin beds. There are 2 bathrooms which were great for our group.

AWESOME LOCATION

This was a beautiful property, spacious and clean and close to everything. Our only problem was the stairs, of which I counted 55+. We are seniors and coming back and forth to the property during the day was difficult. Apart from that, if you don't mind stairs, I would give it 5 stars.

Beautiful and centrally located Apt in Florence

We stayed in Florence for 3 nights in June 2023. The location of the flat cannot be beat, close to many of the major attractions and with many nice restaurants nearby. There is something special about staying in a building that was built in the 1400s. Anna as a host was wonderful to work with. The apt had everything we needed for a great Florentine visit.

Perfect location and wonderful host

Anna was a wonderful host and answered many questions for us even before we arrived. Check in and check out was easy. And the location was incredible! The apartment was lovely and the description was accurate. The loft bedroom was a bit challenging with the steep stairs and no bathroom on that level, but the description was clear, so we knew to expect it. Overall we would definitely recommend this to family and friends as long as they can handle the stairs to the loft bedroom.
