About this property

It's a Beach Haven and it's Beachfront! See the beautiful dunes and ocean

Located 20 minutes east of Savannah, through several miles of beautiful sky and salt marshes, you’ll find Tybee Island — one of the most laid-back beaches on the southeastern coast.
You can sit on the spacious deck facing the ocean, see the cargo ships, relax and sunbathe and enjoy cocktails

Our house is located about 2 blocks north of the Tybee Pavilion and Pier at one of the nicest locations on Tybee Island’s beach. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood, is directly on the beach where you can walk to shopping, the local grocery store, restaurants and bars. There is a large deck facing the ocean that has a dining table, ample seating, a sun umbrella and two loungers.
We have a very cool outdoor shower that you can use from returning from the beach.
Many renovations have recently been completed that include updated space .The kitchen is open to the dining and living rooms and the Atlantic Ocean. The appliances are all stainless steel with new cabinetry, an island that serves as a breakfast bar and the kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots/pans and cooking utensils. All luxury vinyl flooring on all floors and bead board in all hallways and stairwells are updated features.
The master shower includes a walk in tiled shower. The 2nd bathroom on the top floor has been renovated recently with a new tub, tiling, flooring and wallpaper. There are 3 flat screen TVs in the house, LR, primary BR and BR on the ground floor. The master bedroom faces the ocean and the views are breathtaking. The bedrooms are comfortable and furnished with quality linens and bed coverings. There are also overhead fans in all of the bedrooms. The 3.5 bathrooms include a half bath on the main floor next to the kitchen, the primary with a walk in shower , the 2nd bathroom with a bathtub/shower and the third bathroom with a walk in shower. Washer and dryer on ground floor available for your use. To reach the beach, you just take the path on the other side of the house and the beach is in sight. The one car garage has plenty of beach chairs, a gas grill, an extra refrigerator, a cooler and a beach umbrella for your use. The driveway can accommodate 3 parked cars. We focus on upkeep and cleanliness and this is just not a rental home but my private home whenever I can meet up with my family.

We had a great week at staying at Beach Haven. It was perfect for the 8 people we had, there was plenty of room. It was well stocked, right on the beach, walking distance to the grocery, shopping and great restaurants! Susan is a wonderful host, very helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. Definitely recommend staying here if you are coming to Tybee Island.

Great place for girls college reunion

The house was just as listed. There were great beach views and plenty of room to sit on the deck for 6 people. The kitchen was perfect and location was great. Would highly recommend.

Independent Owner, not rental management company. Family run. I oversee the maintenance of Beach Haven personally to ensure that it meets my quality standards. I spend time here as well with my family and friends and Tybee Island is one of my two homes.

Why they chose this property

Best beachfront location and the views from the deck and master bedroom are memorable. You can see the cargo ships, the pier and sometimes view dolphins swimming by! The dunes and wildlife are also amazing. There is ample space, 2220 square feet and the furnishings , decor and bed linens are replaced on a regular basis. The kitchen is well equipped with dish and cookware, utensils and small appliances. The house is renovated and updated regularly. The one car garage has plenty of beach chairs, a cooler, gas grill, an extra refrigerator, beach umbrella, beach towels and more. You can walk to the grocery store, many restaurants, shops and bars or bike or rent a golf cart to travel around the entire island. You can rent bikes right across the street!
Managed by a family who cares about their guests and property, not a rental management company and we are very attentive to cleaning and use a top quality cleaning company in the vicinity. I love Tybee Island and discovered it in 1985 and have never left.

Beachfront, walk to the ocean in minutes. Private walkway. Very relaxing well kept up home and stunning views. Ample space for group of 8 or less. It is in a great location at Tybee Island where you can walk to the market, many restaurants and rent bikes across the street.
