Welcome to our luxury vacation home paradise, located on world famous Captiva Island. Our home is appropriately named 'Bellativa' or 'Beautiful Captiva.' The spectacular white sand beaches are only twenty-five yards from your door step, and your family can create many years of memories in this spacious, designer appointed home.

At Bellativa, you can relax in the private, kidney-shaped stone pool with a fountain spilling in from the hot tub. Inside the home, enjoy an entertainment room that opens to the pool area; the room is equipped with a 42' flat screen television and inviting furnishings.

The 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, with an additional sleeper sofa in the big screen media entertainment room, will comfortably accommodate your family and friends. The master bedroom houses a king-size bed, a wet bar with refrigerator, direct access to the elevator, and beautiful French doors leading out to a private patio. The master bath is equipped with a Jacuzzi tub with a separate stone tile shower. Additionally, two suites are furnished with Queen beds and have private baths, and one suite contains two full beds.

You will enjoy an atmosphere perfectly suited for entertaining and relaxing in the open living and dining areas. The inviting living room features 24-foot ceilings and a fireplace, and you can experience the beach at home through the oversized Palladian windows. Through the dining area, you can easily access the fully equipped gourmet kitchen. Or, let someone else do the cooking at the famous “Mucky Duck” and “Bubble Room” restaurants, both within walking distance. With all of these wonderful benefits, we are sure that you will want to make Bellativa an annual tradition.

We loved our week at this house! The house is spacious and very well maintained. It was perfect for our 3 families over Christmas week. The h path to Captiva Beach is just across the street from the back gardens. The pool and hot tub were great! We ate all our meals on the very large screened in porch overlooking the pool and hot tub.

Amazing!

Wonderful home. Perfect for a large family with kids. Loved the pool, hot tub and landscaping. It’s across the street from the library which was great for the kids. Close to lots of other things to do too.

Great stay.

Easy check in. Property exactly as represented. Owners easy to deal with but nothing came up that Had to be dealt with. A no surprise vacation is The very best kind. Pool and hot tub outstanding. Beach renewal project underway only possible negative But that was easily managed by a short drive to A different beach area. (1 mile or less away). We had 6 in our party and had a great time with kids and grand kids. Will be back next year Lord willing.

Great location

The house is a great size and in a fabulous location. We had 7 adults and 3 children under 3 and had ample room. Our major complaint, and this is no fault of the home owner at all, was the cleanliness when we arrived. Items sitting around were dusty. Ceiling fans were dirty. Carpet had visible items not vacuumed up. We tried to use the vacuum at the house but canister was full. Foliage around pool was overgrown so items kept falling in the pool and the floor of the pool remained dirty. Yard crew was there the day before we left to trim. So I’ll repeat the house was great and the home owner had no control over our issues. We did inform Royal Shell when we left. Again location is great!!!

We've rented luxury homes for the past decade and based on reviews and chatting wtih the owner were excited for our stay at Bellativa. The pool and hottub were great for our teenage children - but every other aspect of the home can best be described as being "VERY TIRED". Even our teenage sons commented on how run down the place is. Big picture is that the home does not match and live up to the way its represented in the photos and the owners' website. I don't have the time to list everything, but for example: 2nd floor bathroom tiles were moldy/scummy; carpets throughout the home are trampled, dingy and visibly dirty; master bath comforter and bed skirt were stained; handles on master hot tub and shower pop off; the bakeware is dirty and stained; there was a hole in the wall in one of the bedrooms; the couches in living room were starting to fall apart; ceiling light fixtures were detached; sound system didn't work; the soaps that Royal Shell provided were crumbling and unusable; the hard wood floors are very worn - not at all like they appear in the photos; the table in the screened-in porch has a glass top and there was food remaining in the rim where the glass top meets the steel frame; the door handle from master bedroom to roof top deck is falling off; toilets plugged and there was very poor water pressure; overall the furnishings, fixtures, plumbing, etc. are of very low quality and are not handling the demands of rental families. There are MUCH better options - we would not return.

Fantastic location

Great location to the beach and phenomenal pool to have for kids and to lounge around in. Lots of mosquitoes by the pool so bring bug spray.

Captiva Captivates

We enjoyed this beautiful home immensely. The pool, hot tub and deck were fabulous. Loved the dense palms making a wall on one side of the pool. Access to the beach was perfect. Screen porch delightful. We walked to all the restaurants too. We had to call maintenance for no hot water in the house. Sunsets were a daily routine. Fun for all ages and beautiful. It was a destination vacation celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary with our two children and their families. Would love to return! Bedspreads could be updated One of the duvet sheets was soiled at edge

Relaxing getaway

Our family had a great time visiting Captiva and Bellativa. The short walk to the beach made it easy to experience island life. There was plenty of space to spread out and lots of ways to entertain family in the house. Short walk to local shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay again if given the opportunity.

Wonderful week in Captiva!

Our group of six had plenty of space to spread out in this large 4-bed, 4.5 bath house. We liked the big kitchen, pool and hot tub, outdoor grill, screened-in porch, and balcony. The beach is an easy walk just across the street and down a shady path. The beach chairs, a wagon, and plenty of towels were provided. The house could use a little updating, such as new carpeting in a few areas. We had a great week and would definitely stay in this house again.

Perfect layout and location for our family

We stayed at Bellativa with our 4 grown children and their spouses for Christmas. Everyone had their own private rooms/bathrooms, with lots of gathering spaces for hanging out, watching Christmas movies and playing games together. Each couple took a turn to cook dinner, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The pool and hot tub were perfect for the few times that it was too windy for the beach. The house is close to the great restaurants and shops in town - we rarely used our car once we got there. I would highly recommend this property!

Great time

We had a great time at Bellativa. We had four couples including my wife and I. The bedrooms were good and the kitchen was very nice. The pool and hot tub came in very handy as the weather was not overly cooperative. But we liked it a lot.

Beautiful house in amazing location

Thanks so much for a great stay! The house was spacious and very comfortable. The pool and landscaping made us feel like we were at a resort and just a short walk to the almost private beach and we were in heaven. Can’t wait to return!
