Lazy Palm is back and beautiful. We all went through a lot after hurricane Ian , then there was Helene and Milton, but Lazy Palm is back better than ever. You will definately be in a totally, like new home. I was in Lazy Palm 3 days after the hurricane, traveling back and forth by boat just to start doing everything I could to keep the property safe. It was quite an experience.
Lazy Palm has been brought back to its original beauty, with some things even better, and the home still offers all of the great features that it always had. The golf cart has been totally refurbished and the bicycles are new along with most everything else. New carpet, newly painted, a lot of new furniture, and decor will make you feel like you are in a new property.

With nearly 5,000 square feet of living space, this newly renovated, inside and out, (after the hurricane) luxury home has plenty of 'Island Living' space for everyone.

The large wrap around decks and the 4th level 'Crows Nest', with a 360* view of the island ,are a favorite for guests and are just some of the bonuses this fabulous home has to offer. Bayfront views of the intercoastal waterway are endless! Rise early for breathtaking sunrises or relax and watch the boats and dolfphins cruise by!

The 4+ bedrooms are spacious, comfy ,and all feature custom heavenly beds. All bedrooms have LCD TV's with cable, private bathrooms and access to the outside decks with awesome views.

A beautiful open floor plan makes a great space with the living room, dining area and a large beautiful modern kitchen with a wrap around breakfast bar for entertainment.

Open the doors to the lanai and dine or relax overlooking the large patio area with a heated pool and spa. All screen enclosed for beautiful year-round enjoyment. Sun, swim, dine or relax in this great space.

The large recreation room off of the pool area features a LCD TV with cable, a 12 foot shuffleboard table, a foosball table, a bar area with seating, a queen sleeper sofa, and a large full bath. An elevator services all floors for your convenience.

Beautifully landscaped and decorated with a lot of love by the owner, Lazy Palm is perfectly located in the 'Village Area'. You are truly a block from everything. The beach, shopping, dining, waters ports, a gym and more, but on a quiet little street with views of the bay and only a 5-6 minute walk to the beach!

Lovely stay!

We stayed at this beautiful Captiva home for Thanksgiving week 2025. We had a party of 7 and there was ample room for everyone to enjoy. The pool/spa was great. The golf cart was fun to explore the village and to drop off grandma to the beach to watch beautiful sunsets. We enjoyed hunting for seashell treasures and fishing from the beach was productive. We had a blast cooking Thanksgiving dinner for our family and 2 additional guests as the kitchen was great and very open to get everyone involved as well as watch football and work on the Captiva puzzle which we were determined to finish. There was great deck space to play our nightly games and the rooftop deck was amazing for morning coffee watching the sunrise. Overall, this was a great home for us. Extra bonus was closeness to get orange crunch cake at Bubbleroom only 1 min walk! Cant wait to return!

Excellent home close to everything

Beautifully situated close to everything this is a very comfortable home. The pool area was easily spacious enough for our group of 7 and the house itself was in excellent shape (no mean feat considering the recent storms). The property owner was helpful and very responsive to all our questions.

We absolutely loved this home and location for our family vacation. The inside and outside of the home were exactly as pictured (if not better), very well appointed, clean, and comfortable. Loved having the golf cart, beach chairs and other equipment to enjoy our fays at the beach! Great location, can walk to everything in town. Kathy was extremely responsive when we had questions. We would definitely return!

Perfect for family and friends

This house was perfect for our two families of 4. The location was great and on a quiet street with easy access to the beach, grocery store and restaurants. Upon arrival the house was very clean and inviting and has all the amenities we needed for our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Captiva is a state of mind. Relaxed and beautiful.

We enjoyed every minute, with the pool just outside our door and the Gulf a 5 minute walk away. We met so many friendly people in the town of Captiva, just at the end of our street. We can't wait to go back!

We had a great stay at the Lazy Palm. We loved the private pool and golf cart. We loved watching the iguanas in the trees. Great restaurants were close to the house. The house was in a great location.

Beautiful home, great location!

We've stayed at the Lazy Palm many times, and we're looking forward to our next visit. We've seen other homes in the area, and the LP is our favorite. The natural light, the pool/lanai, the elevator, the golf cart and such a great location in the village. LP is a great place to relax with family and friends!

A Perfect Vacation!

Great space for a family get together!

This property was perfect for our family gathering. Everybody had their own bed/bath plus a guest bath. The best way to start the day was breakfast on the balcony overlooking the heated pool, which was used everyday. The location was convenient and just a short walk to groceries, coffee, shopping and the beach. We enjoyed making lasting memories at the Lazy Palm.

Another Great Stay

Another wonderful experience at the Lazy Palm, our 2nd stay! The property is well kept, clean and full of amenities. Particularly like the outdoor dining and pool for the kids. Family beach trip

Perfect house for 2 families to share for a beach trip. Loved the pool....perfect for the 6 month baby .Kitchen well stocked for our purposes, beautifully furnished. We rented bikes and golf cart, but didn't use much as restaurants and stores so close to walk to.

We all enjoyed our stay at the Lazy Palm. The house was perfect for us. We loved the cute golf cart tribute to your parents! We really enjoyed our week. The golf cart was awesome. We did have a problem with the A/C upstairs but the rental company sent someone out late at night and he fixed it right away. The pool and hot tub were great and also having the elevator was a wonderful help a well. Great location to everything.

Fantastic Week at Lazy Palm

We had a wonderful vacation at Lazy Palm for our spring break. The house was perfect and fit our two families of 5. We enjoyed the easy walk to beach, shops, and restaurants. We also loved the pool, ping pong and access to the golf cart. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed using the grill. Kathy was so attentive to any needs that arose and was a responsive host. We hope to come back to Captiva and the Lazy Palm!

Terrific Captiva home

Our family has stayed at Captiva several times so very familiar with properties and homes nearby. This property and location are terrific! The home is exactly as shown on the VRBO site. It is perfect for families. It was spotless when we arrived. The owner Kathy is just great-easily reached and immediately responsive to questions or concerns. The management company Royal Shell is also very helpful. The use of the golf cart is a real bonus- fun and helpful to get around. We hope you enjoy this beautiful home as much as we did with our family.

I now live in Pigeon Forge Tn. I grew up in Cape Coral (across the river) and have always loved Capitiva. This is like home to me. Weekends as a child were always spent boating to this island with my family. I eventually want to retire in this home so when I decided to build in 2007 I put in all the special features desired in a private home. I hope you enjoy my home as I do!!

Why they chose this property

I chose this location because it has a special place in my heart. It is also one of the most beautiful and unique places I know of. I grew up not far from here and have been coming to Captiva since I was a young girl. It just doesn't get any better than this !

What makes this property unique

You can enjoy a tranquil setting in the 2 & 1/2 story screened in Pool enclosure with a waterfall heated spa. The pool deck is large and has both shaded and sun areas for everyone. The entire first floor is a gameroom with a 12 foot shuffleboard table, foosball table, bar area, family room with large screen LCD television and DVD player, and a full bath. There are also 3 levels of decks offering both shaded and sunbathing areas and even a rooftop sundeck for the ultimate water view.
