A wonderful apartment in the beautiful old town

What a lovely apartment in a great location! We just returned from a 5 night stay in Marsala and were delighted in our choice of this apartment. It was pretty, spacious and well equipped. Everything you need for your stay is available. We loved the terrace (exclusively used by the upper apartment - “Orchidea”) and the clever thinking that went into converting the apartments (we got to have a quick peak in the downstairs apartment which was equally lovely). Both are delightful, private and offer a generous amount of living space. The main gate to the courtyard shared by the two apartments opens onto a small piazza with beautiful trees and a couple of traditional restaurants (both serving delicious food), with literally loads more to explore in less than five minutes slow walking! There’s a small supermarket/convenience store just a few streets away and free car parking nearby (white line parking is free and just at the end of the street). Based in the heart of the beautiful old town of Marsala, this apartment gives a wonderful taste of that history but comes with air conditioning, central heating and a fab shower. The marble streets and ancient history are within easy reach. Anna and Marco were lovely and welcoming. Keen to ensure we had a great time (we did). Happy to meet us after midnight when we arrived (late flight into Palermo). Friendly, helpful and keen to ensure that a trip to Marsala is a wonderful experience. Ours certainly was!

"The accommodations were ...

"The accommodations were large,clean and newly remodeled. We did not require many amenities but the apartment had them ie. television,reading lights, telephone,full kitchen with all utencils,refrigerator etc. The surroundings were as stated in the adv but better. The gated courtyard was attractive and clean. Restaurants,coffee shops and retail shopping were literally steps away. Our overall stay at the rental was excellent and I would recommend it to anybody. I must add that what made this property superior to most we have stayed at is the friendliness and assistance we received from the owners family. They made our stay in Marsala special."

"Siamo stati a Marsala metà novembre ed era una settimana splendida. Siamo arrivati come ospite di Anna e Marco, ma siamo partiti come amici! L''appartamento Orchidea era perfettamente e come descritto sul sito e dagli ospiti precedenti. Senza nessun dubbio da consigliare per un piacevole soggiorno a Marsala! We were in Marsala mid-November and it was a wonderful week. We arrived as a guest of Anna and Marco, but we left as friends! The Orchidea apartament was spotless and as described on the site and the previous guests. No doubt to be recommended for a pleasant stay at Marsala!"

"Ho avuto l''occasione di risiedere in uno degli appartamenti papparinahouse per una vacanza a Marsala appena conclusa e do testimonianza di vacanza davvero ben riuscita! L''appartamento è meraviglioso, curato fino al dettaglio, con mobili tutti in legno e pavimento in pietra, di recentissima ristrutturazione ed estremamente rifinito. A tal proposito, direi che le foto che si vedono sul sito dei proprietari non rendono nemmeno del tutto testimonianza! Gli spazi sono ampi, i soffitti alti, la casa pulitassima e fornita di tutti i comfort. La posizione è strategica perché è al centro di Marsala, ma a pochissime centinaia di metri dal mare, dal porto turistico, dove ci si può imbarcare per la Egadi, e dal museo della Nave Punica, meraviglia archologica di prim''ordine. I proprietari, pur non vivendo nei pressi di questi appartamenti, sono stati di una ospitalità squisita! Io ero senz''auto e la Signora Anna, che insieme a suo marito si occupa della casa, mi ha fatto da Cicerone per i dintorni di Marsala e si è preoccupata di darmi tutte le informazioni utili in vacanza in un posto sconosciuto, rendendo il soggiorno ancora più piacevole e ben vissuto. Oltretutto, essendo le case dotate di wifi,ci aggiornavamo la sera tramite internet su eventuali novità o necessità. Devo dire, una vacanza davvero indimenticabile, per la casa e per le persone che se ne occupano e che la curano a tal punto che gli ospiti possano sentirsi davvero a casa loro."

"Abbiamo già il mal di Si...

"Abbiamo già il mal di Sicilia!!!!! Siamo stati benissimo, abbiam trovato un''appartamento da 10 e lode! tutto nuovissimo, dei dettagli che solitamente si trovano i Hotel a 5 stelle! Molto pulito, (dettaglio direi fondamentale. Posizione Ottima! La sera ci si muove a piedi per il centro della Città che offre molto. per le Spiagge serve prendere la macchina ma non è un problema perchè la Sicilia va girata e quindi è logico l''uso dell''auto. Il Sig. P. e la Sig.ra Anna sono stati molto gentili e disponibili, e reperibili per qualsiasi eveninienza. Appena ci sarà possibile ci torneremo!"
