Fantastic Property

A real gem of a find fantastic Spanish house just perfect for a break in a beautiful village in the mountains. All the amenities you would require for the perfect stay. The owner Alice is so very helpful and on hand if you have any queries or problems. all the local are extremely friendly. We feel refreshed and relaxed after a prefect week in Polopos. We will definitely return.

perfect winter escape

polopos is a beautiful little andalucian village tucked in the hills on the mediterranean coast. alice's cottage is comfortable and well-equipped, and its great little balcony has spectacular views down to the water. we had sunny, warm weather through december (though we were told this was not typical), perfect for sunning ourselves on the balcony or exploring the surrounding region. highly recommended for anyone in need of a village-break for a replenishing dose of fresh-air and vitamin d.

Wonderfull traditional

The house is wonderfull traditional. We found everything we needed for cooking , sleeping and a quiet holiday. The Village is very nice and friendly. You can reach the sea by car in nearly 25 minutes. The road up to the mountains has some fantastic prospects. We love it. We´ll come back. Thanks a lot !!!!

Great Location in Andalusia

We had a really great time in Polopos. Alices house is very nice. It has everything you may need. You can have dinner on the terrace with a great view down the valley to the ocean. We really enjoyed our days in the village. The people there are very nice and always help you when you have any needs. Some basic knowledge in spanish are requiered, because most of them don't speak english. The village is placed in a beautiful surrounding full of almond groves. Also the road leading to Polopos is quite fun to drive.

We would like to thank Alice for sharing her idyllic cottage with us, a fantastic little house that was ideal for what we wanted. We enjoyed roaming around the hotch-potch of whitewashed houses of Polopos, greeted by the ever-smiling and friendly locals, sitting on the terrace with superb views down the valley to the Mediterranean (great for stargazing, too!), as well as taking daily trips to the coastal towns of Castell de Ferro and Castillo de Baños for a swim and food supplies from the local supermarkets. The property had all the amenities you would require for a relaxing rustic holiday and Alice made sure she was always available to answer our queries and offer local advice. We enjoyed staying there so much that we felt really sad to leave! Inna & Ian.

Nos hemos encontrado muy a gusto en la casa. Estaba todo muy limpio y había de todo. Además la gente del pueblo ha sido muy amable y hospitalaria y nos ha recibido con los brazos abiertos.

"Es una bonita casa rural...

"Es una bonita casa rural, en un pueblo pequeño (hay unos 70 habitantes) de la baja alpujarra y cerca de la costa, el entorno es magnifico y la casa es muy acogedora y con todo lo necesario, para una pareja. Lo peor las carreteras de la zona...por la altura y las curvas. Hay que tener cuidado. Alice, fue muy amable con nosotros. El precio ajutado, correcto. Lo recomiendo. "
