Prieuré XIIIs, completely renovated overlooking Châteauneuf de Gadagne, old fortified village.
In this large comfortable house (350 m², 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 4 WCs ) with refined decoration,
You will enjoy a wonderful view. South-facing, on the Luberon and the Alpilles.
The house is particularly well equipped: 8 televisions, DVD players, HiFi, iPod, WiFi, all children material, 10 adult and children bicycles, Ping-pong, Baby-Foot, ETC...
House heated is included, all bedrooms are air-conditioned.
You can choose between relaxing in the shade, on the terraces protected from wind, admiring the view or at the poolside (11/ 5 m) with roller shutter, lit up and heated (28°C),salted water like the sea !
If you want more activity: tours, ping pong, cycling, boules, hiking, horse riding, canoeing, Golf (3 golf courses within 15 minutes) 4 tennis courts (400 m), 2 children parks.
Shopping facilities and bars and restaurants are 5 min away by foot.
Enjoy your 'Mauresque' in the 'coolness' while waiting for the grilled meat and listening to the cicadas !

Climbing up the mount Ventoux (starting at midnight in order to see the sunrise, tiring but enchanting!)

our stay in chateau de gadagne

it is a nice facility and is well maintained. we stayed 20 years ago and it is still very nice. Instructions on what to do with trash, at check out, were confusing. (we had to buy a big box of trash bags, and leave them, because there were only 2 there).

Beautiful home, fabulous location

We had the most amazing time in this fabulous home! We were three generations, a group of 11 adults ages 19-83. This magnificent home had ample space to accommodate us all in comfort. From tea in the morning to wine in the evening, the views from the upper terrace were unbeatable. We had everything we could ever need to prepare meals in the wonderful kitchen. The location was perfect for day trips- of which there were many! Virginie was a wonderful host. She showed us around the home when we arrived and provided much welcomed advice and information. She was also quick to respond to any questions we had during our week. We would definitely stay here again! Merci beaucoup for the memories!

Beautiful house in romantic area

We went all family of 11 people to a very nice house. Most things was working nicely, the kitchen was a gem, with all accessories available. The pool has very nice salt water and is very big, but a bit old. The pool cower was not working, but not a problem for us, as the kids are old enough to swim better than the adults. The small lawn was not trimmed when we arrived and we had to find the lawnmower to do it ourselves, so we could use that space as the tiles for sun beds was a bit small for the whole group. There was only 6 sun beds so we had to switch a bit. The beds was all good and air conditioning was working. Also be aware the the house is not suited for walking disability, as there are steep stairs. Internet was fast, but could not reach all rooms. The owners cousin was very sweet when she met us in the house. All in all the stay was very good, and I have to mention the kitchen again: Bring a few chefs with you, and your stay will be a delicious treat for all. We would return to this house again :o)

La maison est très agréable à vivre et spacieuse. Nous étions 12 et nous avions largement assez d'espace pour chacun. Très bon emplacement qui permet de découvrir la région. Propriétaires réactifs.

Agréables vacances

Maison très bien équipée dans une région magnifique. Endroit idéal pour passer des vacances bucoliques. Si il y avait juste un point négatif, ça serait la proximité du voisinage car à 12 personnes, nous faisons malgré tout un peu de bruit. Mais nous conseillons tout de même cette maison.

Très bon séjour dans cette belle maison

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine dans cette belle maison très bien agencée et disposant d'une vraie piscine chauffée ( 11 * 5 m ) - Nous étions 8 adultes et rien ne nous a manqué ( ping pong, BBQ au gaz - vélos - babyfoot ) - l'espace est suffisant pour chacun - L'accueil chaleureux est très bien organisé par Rose qui veille à ce qu'à l'arrivée sur place les vacanciers se sentent chez eux - Le village environnant est très agréable et pittoresque - tous les commerces vitaux sont à proximité ainsi que quelques restaurants - Avignon et Isle sur la Sorgue sont a proximité immédiate - a ne pas manquer : les Carrières de Lumières aux Baux de Provence - Pour une première expérience de location , nous considérons que c'est une réussite !

tres belle location

très belle location tout confort en haut du village avec une superbe vue la piscine chauffée très appréciable et parfaitement entretenue beaucoup de ballades a faire pas très loin ,Avignon ' l'isle sur sorgue etc... merci à Rose pour son accueil et les quelques victuailles offertes a notre arrivé , nos amis ont étés sous le charme !!

Un séjour qui ne s'oublie pas !

Une semaine dans une demeure qui a beaucoup de charme. On s'y sent bien (presque chez soi). Un équipement qui mérite ses 5 étoiles. En rentrant de nos randonnées dans ce beau pays, nous avons profité de cette belle demeure familiale et apprécié la piscine, le ping pong, le baby foot et le piano. Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Rose qui nous avait préparé tout ce qu'il fallait pour le soir et le petit déjeuner du matin ! Que demandez de plus ? Une adresse à conserver pour y revenir les yeux fermés. J. Mertens

Fantastic holiday for the second time

We stayed in this fantastic house with its wonderfull garden and pool for the second time and everything was brilliant again. If we could give ten stars, it would not be enough, esspecially for the warm welcome and good service we got by Rose!!! We would like to spend our holidays every year in Chateauneuf!!! Un séjour de rêve dans un endroit splendide

Un accueil très agréable par Rose dans une maison magnifique, parfaitement équipée, rangée et propre. Une piscine dans laquelle il fait bon être. Un frigo rempli de bonnes choses, dont des spécialités locales. Un village très pittoresque et charmant avec des vues splendides sur les alentours. Nos grands enfants ont profité des bons et nombreux vélos mis à disposition. Bref, un lieu à recommander et une location à ne pas manquer! Nous y retournerons, c'est certain.

Une maison pas comme les autres.....

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine dans la Prieuré. Madame Rose a été super et elle nous a bien accueilli. Malheureusement le boulanger, l'Atrium et le café ont été fermés. Mais avec la voiture ce n'était pas un grand problème. Nous avons fait chaque jour la cuisine nous-memes dans une cuisine super bien equipée. La piscine a été très bien entretenue, tous les deux jours il y avit des gens qui l'ont nettoyée. Les informations que la propriétaire npous a donné à l'avance mais qui ont été aussi dans un placard à la maison nous ont bien aidé. Un grand merci encore une fois et peut-être à bientôt,

Le Prieuré is a family home where we often come with our children and grand-sons who love the house and the fortified village of Châteauneuf de Gadagne.
We love to hike on the hiking paths and bathing on the heated pool, even in April and October!
Children and adults can ride bicycles, horses or play tennis, golf or sail on the Sorgue. We all have great matches of boules!

Why they chose this property

Le Prieuré was entirely renovated and we enhance its comfort every year according to our children and client's wishes, because many of them come back and we love to satisfy them.
We have great times in this magnificent region. On Sunday mornings we go to the Brocante market on Isle sur Sorgue, which is picturesque! We also like to discover new places to recommend them to our clients.

What makes this property unique

We are very close to the comfortable house, full of happy memories; we love its peace, although it is on a village, its view, its sun and especially the fact that it is well protected from the wind! You can swim protected from the wind.
We like to go shopping by foot. Croissants and newspapers at just 5 minutes!
The children like to play on the shade, on the 2 parks that are behind the house, while the parents enjoy the fresh air of Avignon or visit the region.
