Had a great time!

Good location, short drive into McHenry. Pizza, sandwiches, coffee a few steps away. Townhome has a great view of the lake and layout worked well for our family. Management very responsive to our occasional needs. Would definitely stay again.

Definitely recommend!

We would definitely recommend this townhome! It was perfect for our weekend stay. Plenty of space for the 5 of us. I was very impressed with how clean everything was and it was in a great location, easy access to the highway, close to everything, and great view of the lake.The master bedroom does face the highway but it was not an issue for us. We would defiantly stay here again!

Great stay

This was a very pleasant process and stay for us. We had to book last minute because the original house we booked proved to be very unsafe for our child to stay at. When we arrived at this house we were thrilled with the upkeep and the accuracy of the photos. Being next to the main road makes it a little noisy outside but barely hear anything inside. We would definitely stay here again..thank you!

Perfect for the weekend

We enjoyed our stay. The unit was spacious and clean, with many amenities. We did have an issue with cold water temperatures in the showers on day 2, but that wasn't enough to "rain on our parade". The high vaulted ceilings and decor make the home very welcoming. It's centrally located to grocery stores and attractions.

All the appliances and electronics worked, and the kitchen was well-stocked. Great winter getaway with kids

Great winter getaway, nicely maintained, with a decent view of the lake, and very close to shops and attractions. Hot tub and whirpool bath were very relaxing. Fireplace was easy to use and kitchen equipment was plentiful, as were provided bath towels. Highway noise was loud on the deck, but sounded like white noise when inside. Management was very courteous and responsive to inquiries. Our only major issue was with the WIFI router (initially not working, then after troubleshooting with a technician, able to provide extremely slow speeds). T-Mobile cell reception is challenging in this area (Verizon is fine). Wooden furniture needs some tightening (i.e. dining table and chairs, bunk bed, foosball table), as do the screws for the window crank handles. Creaky front door could also use some lubricant. No recycling available. Hot tub outside could use a side table or hooks to lay towels down, otherwise they'll get sandy on the ground or wet on the hot tub tray. Lots of fun games for the kids, although Monopoly was missing all the money. Worth the visit and would consider staying again.

Problem with parking

Very disappointed in the parking situation. The parking spaces and parking lot were totally covered in snow and ice. Called the rental office and they said the association did not plow but they would send up a plow so we could park. They never did. My brother’s car slid down the hill while parked in that snowy icy mess and missed hitting my car by one foot. Not good customer service. The place had a great view and was nice but the sleeping for 8 should read sleeping for 4 adults and 2 children. Luckily there was only 6 of us and not 8.

Off season stay

Property was as advertised - made for an extremely relaxing weekend! Kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need. Location is central to all activities and was very easy to get around. It was still off season so traffic wasn't bad.
