Villa Rachel Marguerite is in the city center on a very quiet street. If you arrive by train-bus, the villa is 200m from the bus station. If you arrive by car you can forget it during your entire stay, the supermarket and various shops are 100m away and the central beach 400m. You can enjoy sunbathing in the large garden (1300 m2) or enjoy the benefits of the Spa under the terrace (54m2).

You like cycling: the numerous cycle paths allow you to reach the various sites which surround the station. You want to discover surfing, several schools are close by. If golf is what keeps you going, beginners will go on the 9 pants of the Méjanne and the experienced will practice on the 18-hole international course of the Ardilouse. Other sports are practiced in Lacanau: Water skiing, sailing, horse riding, hiking, tennis, squatch ... and you can also take advantage of your vacation to do nothing.

The house was outstanding, everything in excellent condition. I have to add one "But". If you want to experience the wonderful smell the wonderful aroma of the pine forest so typical for the coast at Lacanau you won't find it there, because the house is too close to the center of Lacanau Ocean. But it is quiet and and bakeries and supermarket are in 3 minutes walking distance.

It was our 9 th stay in lacanau and we tried several houses next to the beach snd next to the golf. The whole family agreed that this for our purposes was the best choice! We will come back!

Gorgeous house

First and most important, a beautiful villa with excellent aircon, garden and jacuzzi. Super comfortable with a large garden. It really is so lovely, and great to relax in garden when hot.There was confusion when we checked in, we parked in Villa Rachel and waited for them to arrive only to be told we were in villa next door, which she showed us....which did not have a jacuzzi. Language was a barrier and it took a while before she told us we did have Villa Rachel, but she looked confused and said it's a house for nine!! It looks the roof area has been converted since we booked, so it is now larger....which was not explained.Also WiFi did not work and after attempts to contact host all afternoon I chased up Vrbo, then solved This was all on first day and was fabulous after that.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this wonderfully spacious, fully equipped, modern house complete with top- notch jacuzzi. The house is tastefully and comfortably furnished including good beds with proper pillows, large wardrobes and safe etc. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a modern oven, hob, microwave and good sized fridge-freezer making self catering easy and stress-free: it was lovely to have a small selection of herbs to use, some ready-to-use coffee pouches and a bottle of delicious red wine from the family's own vineyard. We felt incredibly welcomed and the hosts were extremely warm and welcoming. The outdoor space is sunny, pleasant and spacious. One of the highlights has to be the fabulous Jacuzzi which provided excellent relaxation after a day swimming and exploring. The house is brilliantly located, within a few minutes walk to the beach (literally) or the surrounding town with its impressive variety of shops and restaurants. The supermarket is just shy of a 5 minute walk..and has an excellent selection of food. Not only are you incredibly close to the beach, but a short drive away are 2 picturesque lakes: we enjoyed an afternoon at the fresh water beach of Moutchic where the children (teens) enjoyed a floating aqua park experience. Despite all our adventures, we were delighted to return to the luxury of our accommodation, where we could relax in style and comfort. Our only regret is that we had just a week in this fabulous place. We would THOROUGHLY recommend Villa Rachel Marguerite, to any one who enjoys the vibrant beach life and the time and space in which to relax.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour entre amis pour le passage en 2026 ! Nous avons reçu un accueil chaleureux de la part du propriétaire. La villa Rachel est très agréable, et très bien équipée. Les équipements (baby-foot, jacuzzi) ont été appréciés ! Emplacement idéal, au calme et proche de toutes commodités. Nous avons l' habitude de louer des maisons pour passer le réveillon entre amis, et la villa Rachel fait partie de nos coups de coeur.

Es gibt wirklich gar nichts was verbesserungsfähig wäre. Wir hatten einen perfekten Aufenthalt (zum Glück denn das Wetter war eher schlecht). Angefangen vom Whirl Pool über die tollen Zimmer bis zur Küche. Tischkicker nicht zu vergessen.Lieben Dank auch für den netten Kontakt. Mithilfe von Google konnten wir uns verständigen

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Die Ferienvilla war noch größer und schöner als wir erwartet hatten, besonders der große Whirlpool und die gute Ausstattung der Küche hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Sehr freundlicher Vermieter, der sich um alles kümmert.

Belles vacances sous les éclaircies d'avril

Sejour tres agreable, avec une meteo plus clemente que prevue :-). Logement bien equipé, travaux récents realisés. Exterieur impec pour les enfants, securisé. Juste une petite suggestion peut etre : prevoir de mettre à disposition un aspirateur, plus efficace et pratique que le balai. :-)

Perfekter Urlaub

Wir (2 Ehepaare) haben einen wunderschönen, erholsamen Urlaub in Lacanau Ocean verbracht. Das Ferienhaus liegt sehr zentral und ist perfekt ausgestattet. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in direkter Umgebung. Kontakt zum Vermieter sehr freundlich. Wir haben den Garten und den Grill intensiv genutzt. Einzig die Gartenstühle könnten etwas bequemer sein. Ansonsten war alles zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Schönes Ferienhaus zu hohem Preis

+ Lage 400 m vom Strand, von Geschäften und Restaurants entfernt. + große Zimmer, komplett eingerichtet + grosse überdachte Terrasse und Whirlpool + sehr freundlicher Gastgeber - hoher Preis - einige Gegenstände sollten erneuert werden (Liegen, Garten Stühle) - wir hatten sehr viele Mücken, trotz Deed.

Vielen Dank für Ihr Verständnis, zu Beginn der Saison waren die Liegestühle und Gartenstühle noch in gutem Zustand, aber wir hatten geplant, sie für die nächste Saison auszutauschen. Normalerweise gibt es in der Villa keine Mücken, weil die Meeresbrise sie fernhält, aber dieses Jahr mit der Hitze und dem kleinen Wind haben sie uns ihre unangenehme Anwesenheit auferlegt. Wenn der Winter 2022 nicht hart genug ist, um sie auszulöschen, werden wir für die nächste Saison die Installation von Moskitonetzen über den Öffnungen der Villa in Betracht ziehen.

Einfach perfekt

Trotz zentraler Lage sehr ruhig.Kurze Wege zu Strand und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten wie Bäcker und Supermarkt. Abendlicher Bummel durch lebhaftes Zentrum in unmittelbarer Nähe. Haus und Garten mit Whirlpool rundum perfekt, gute Ausstattung. Besitzer sehr nett ,einfach zu kontaktieren, sofern man über Französischkenntnisse verfügt. Kümmert sich sofort um alles 😊
