Enjoy a memorable holiday in a large villa in the village of Saint Saturnin les Apt, in the heart of Provence and the Luberon valley.
From the large terrace you can enjoy the view across the valley and the surrounding mountains (Luberon and Monts de Vaucluse) and make the most of it: rest, have a drink of pastis or rosé wine or enjoy a peaceful meal. Breakfasts on the terrace are memorable. There is a barbecue grill for you to enjoy great meals with great views!
The villa offers 3 large bedrooms, each one with a double bed (one if them has a king size bed)
The swimming pool offers superb views and is available from june to october. You can wander around the garden and the olive grove.
The villlage of Saint Saturnin les Apt is only a few steps away (walking distance) where you find one of the best boulangeries in the region, a butcher, a newsagent and a small supermarket. There are also a few restaurants and cafés. On Tuesdays there is an outdoor market.
The location of the house will allow you to easily access the region's rich cultural, sports and leisure attractions and activites:
- cultural festivals (Avignon, Aix en Provence...),
- visit of some of the most beautiful and picturesque villages in France (Gordes, Roussillon, Ménerbes, Bonnieux, Ansouis, Lourmarin, Sault....),
- golf: closest in Villars (3kms away), Vedene, Avignon, Saumane...
- cycling: access from Apt to one of the longest dedicated cycling road in the region, many remarkable itinaries, Mont Ventoux...
- Tradionnal markets of Provence: Apt market on saturdays is the largest and most beautiful in Provence, there is also a small market in the village of Saint Saturnin on Tuesdays
- the largest antiques and flea market in Europe in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue...
- wine tours: Chateauneuf du Pape, Rhône Valley, Luberon.....
- lavender fields of the Monts de Vaucluse (Sault, Banon...).
The house has been rented as a holiday let since 2010 and has benefited from constant improvements. The latest ones are:
- 2023: new double glazed windows
- 2024: 2 new bathrooms
- 2025: major internal renovations including new entrance, new door openings, new kitchen, electricity & plumbing.
