Situated midway between Château Chenonceaux & Cheverny and Chambord Chateaux, it is well placed for sightseeing, ten minutes drive from the shops & good local market.
The Montrichard beach and playground on the Cher River are great for young children plus the famous Beauval zoo, (St Aignan) a great day out for all the family. spectacular Jardins / Gardens de Chaumont sur Loire, and La Maison de La Magie (Blois)
It is 20 minutes drive from the Loire River, Château Chaumont and the annual garden annual festival, Amboise and Leonardo de Vincis house.
The house is 24km south of Blois. 45km east of Tours
It is also a handy stopping off point halfway between the English Channel & the Dordogne region.
