Our holiday gite is situated at 4.5 km from the bastide town of Villefranche du Périgord,in the heart of the Périgord,on the border of the Dordogne and the Lot.
La maison des Parrots offers every luxury and total privacy with superb views of an unspoilt countryside. The cottage,well decorated and furnished in french style is a charming renovated barn,not overlooked,set in two acres of land,tranquil garden with large trees for shade and a terasse for meals. It is near our farm house but is totally independant with separated garden,access,parking...

Relaxing serenity

We had a quiet and relaxing stay. Beautifully set out and wonderfully constructed building which tells a story of the history of the building while being functional. Well appointed rooms and amenities. 10 min drive to local town for our daily croissants.Thank you for thos little touches that made it even more amazing

Quiet days in Perigord

The place is hidden in Perigord, between the rivers Lot and Dordogne--which in summer is perfect to go swimming, canoeing, hiking in the area. There are culinary gems in Goujounac or Villefranche-du-Périgord--if you ask the locals. Be advised, though, that you need to travel considerable distances to get to places of interest. The place itself is kept in good condition, except for maybe a musty smell and an assorted mix of silverware and tableware, which seemed a bit thrown together.

maison de style avec superbe jardin

Rien ne manque au niveau de la cuisine (ce qui est plutôt rare). Une très jolie maison certes assez isolée, mais le calme et la zénitude du jardin compensent tout cela. Ne pas avoir peur de faire quelques kilomètres, mais à une heure de route tout aux alentours, il y a plein de choses à voir. Merci encore à Cindy et Thierry pour les petites attentions à notre arrivée. De belles vacances pour nous.

Séjour très agréable dans un écrin de verdure. Contact avec les propriétaires très chaleureux, même si ils restent discrets. Merci pour les petites attentions , la confiture maison est très bonne. Gîte bien équipé et aménagé avec soin.Nous avons apprécié la chambre pour sa fraîcheur. Merci d’accepter les chiens. Très belle région tant pour les balades que pour la gastronomie. Ne pas manquer la Ferme Auberge près du gîte : un régale

Tolle Unterkunft

Es handelt sich um ein großes, schönes und gut ausgestattetes Haus auf einem tollen Grundstück, bis zu den nächsten Ortschaften muss man etwas fahren, dafür ist es total ruhig. Thierry, der Vermieter, ist sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt.

Nous sommes une famille d accueil acceuillant trois personnes déficience légère. Ce cottage est vraiment l endroit idéal pour se ressourcer. Nous avons pu faire beaucoup d activités la journée et trouver la sérénité le soir. Un très bel accueil des propriétaires, à l écoute et très discret à la fois.
