Wonderful stay in Urval

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house. The property has everything you need. It was spotlessly clean on arrival. The pool and garden were lovely

Perfect for a quiet getaway

We stayed in early September when the kids had gone back to school. Fantastic weather and the property was a good size with everything we needed. Local attractions were equally fantastic. I especially liked that there were so many wild fig and plum trees around. The host was very accommodating. The pool was cleaned each morning giving us space to enjoy it all afternoon when the sun was at it's best. We'll be staying again one day.

Pleasant Week

Of course the property is very old and no doubt difficult to maintain but we didn't get the greatest first impression when upon entering for the first time there was a very musty smell on the lower floor (upper floor was fine). The caretake/local agent explained that ther had been a recent leak from the dishwasher and we suppose these things happen. Next I tripped over a loose slab (crazy paving type) outside the rear door and found ther were in fact 2 or 3 such slabs with others likely to work loose very soon. This is of course easily avoided but this is the start of the holiday season so why are they like that? The pool looked great though not the cleanest we have seen with green mould still showing around the gap above the waterline and quite a bit of debris in the water itself. Not a major issue and there was a net for us to scoop debris away. But there were no sun umbrellas and despite asking for them they never arrived. So having moaned a bit so far I add that the location was fantastic, helped by us not having any neighbours in the other adjacent properties, and overall it's a nice property in which we made ourselves very comfortable indeed enjoying ourselves very much. It just feels there was a bit lacking in making the property as stunning as it could be.

De Villa zoals in de beschrijving stond mag je aanpassen naar huisje en heel afgelegen.

Bij aankomst verschoten we ons van de plaats zo afgelegen en eens de deur openging rook alles super muf alsof het al maanden dicht was. De netheid liet te wensen over veel spinnenwebben en vooral een muffe geur die er tot op het einde nog was ook al hadden we alles open gezet en het grootste probleem de muggen je kan niet buitenkomen of je bent overstoken van de muggen Ontbreken van een hor in de ramen en deuren om zo toch te verluchten en geen beesten en muggen binnen te krijgen. Positiever was de bovenverdieping met kamers en badkamer die beter en moderner waren. Maar ook geen muggenramen dus alles dicht houden. Wel graag een dikke merci aan Robin die telkens alles kwam nakijken van het zwembad en hem was niets teveel de juiste man op de juiste plaats en hij doet dat super en ook een leuk zwembad Dus wij zullen er nooit terugkeren en ook niet echt aanraden bij vrienden jammer Blij weer in ons huis te zitten zonder muggen en met airco

Un lugar maravilloso

La villa está muy bien y bien equipada. El check in es rápido y muy amable. La zona de bosque es increible y tiene a 5 minutos de coche un pueblo con servicios (Carrefour, gasolinera, farmacia). Para cenar en el porche llevar antimosquitos por la proximidad de la piscina privada.

Really lovely Villa in beautiful, quiet setting. There were other properties in close proximity but it was still so peaceful. It was an extremely hot two weeks, the caretaker had lent us a fan for the bedroom which we so needed it was unbearable hot. The beds were ultra-comfortable. The bathroom modern and stylish. The lounge had a rustic feel to it and had a well equipped kitchen. Thouroughly enjoyed this holiday.

Tolle Lage mit Abstrichen bei der Hygiene.

Schönes Haus in schöner Anlage, innen insbesondere auf der ersten Etage relativ eng. Leider nicht sehr sauber, im Wohnzimmer konnte ich mich als Hausstauballergiker ohne Dauerniesen nicht aufhalten. Latent muffiger Geruch im Erdgeschoss. Eine Woche lang kein WLAN.

Little piece of paradise

Both Urval and the house is beautiful. The house is light, cosy and everything has been thought of. The bathroom is a delight and the kitchen and living area is just perfect. I found a little walk just out of the house for my dogs and they loved running around this circular walk in the morning. Both myself and my younger dog loved just hanging out beside the wonderful pool everything was so well looked after and peaceful. Thank you for a wonderful stay. You thought of everything. There was even coffee and tea in the house, which after a long 10 hours of driving was most welcome. I would go back for a holiday in an instant!

Proper, zeer gezellig huis, leuk groot zwembad, zalig terrasje, top!

Woning was zeer mooi, eigenares is een zeer lieve Nederlandse dame! Je kan er altijd bij terecht. Ze woont op hetzelfde domein. Wij hadden dit wel graag geweten voor we daar aankwamen dat het 3 woningen samen op 1 domein zijn, 1 van eigenares en nog 1 aan de overkant, (wel met hoge haag tussen en voldoende parkeerruimte tussen de 2 woningen)want als we alleen zijn op een domein kan onze hond heel de dag los lopen en nu kon dit niet omdat hij getriggerd werd door het rondgeloop van eigenares en andere mensen + door de hond aan de overkant. Los hiervan kan de eigenares als ze wil bijna op je handen zien, maar ze respecteert 100% je privacy, je hebt het helemaal niet door dat ze daar woont (als je geen hond hebt :-) ).
