Villa Sumer is a beautiful house in its own grounds with sea views overlooking the Bay of Palma. It has a big, modern, fully equipped kitchen with a table for 8, TV, sofa, and a patio overlooking the private pool area. The kitchen leads into a large lounge area with sofas and another TV, beyond that, is the veranda that overlooks the front garden. The house has four spacious bedrooms all with air conditioning, one has an en-suite bathroom and two have a sea view. There is a separate bathroom next to the bedrooms. On the lower level there is a shower and laundry room next to a large toy room with toys and children's books. There is also wifi.
The garden around the house features a large swimming pool (9mx4.5m), BBQ, swing seat, garden furniture, basketball hoop, tennis table. There are tennis and paddle courts nearby.
Within walking distance there is a rocky sea area where you can enjoy a swim in clear, turquoise water. Villa Sumer is in a quiet residential area, in Urbanizacion Bahia Azul - (or Badia Blava) - about half a mile from shops and restaurants (10-15 minutes walk). The nearest beach at Arenal is only a ten minutes drive away. The beach is approximately 5 km long and is lined with shops and restaurants. There are some small coves around 5 minutes drive from the house. A 25-minute drive takes you to Es Trenc beach, an unspoilt sand bank 3 kilometres long with beautiful fine white sand. Along the panoramic road to the east (a must to stop and take photos of the fabulous view from the cliffs), the "talaiots capocorb vell' prehistoric site is well worth a visit.
The house is really best suited to families who want to be based somewhere quiet (it is in a residential rather than a tourist area), and those who want to use it as a base from which to go sightseeing.
As a family home it is best suited to people who will look after the house as their own.
