Superb location, great view from the balcony

Love this place and have met the lovely friendly owner, Maria. This was the third time we've stayed in this apartment. It's modern and smart and has every convenience you might need - a home away from home. A view is very important to us which is one of the reasons we've returned twice. The balcony runs the full front elevation of the flat with a view across the rooftops looking southeast - from the church in Praca Dr.Antonio Padinha to the Castle, the Castle Church of Sta.Maria and the town Garden then right out to the sea on the horizon. The balcony is large enough to sunbathe on a lounger (full sun all day) or entertain visitors and the lounge has a full size dining table and plenty comfortable seating. The apartment is really very close to all the bars and restaurants on the east bank of the river - looking over the balcony you can even see the diners in the lane in Zeca de Bica, one of the most well known establishments. Despite this proximity there is so little noise you would hardly know you were in the middle of it all. If you should need one, there's a small friendly grocer (minimercado) just a couple of doors down for essentials you've forgotten to get in the main supermarkets (5 mins to Pingo Doce or MiniPreco). The walk to the ferry to Ilha de Tavira is less than 10 mins, so no worries about missing it. We'll be back again.

Wonderful apartment in good location.

We had a very good week in this spacious, comfortable apartment. It is fresh and well-equipped and within easy reach of shops and restaurants. We especially enjoyed the large terrace but lacked comfortable armchairs or sun loungers. There was only one comfortable armchair. Otherwise, everything was fine and we would love to stay here again if we come back to Tavira.

Sehr schön und komfortabel.

Tavira ist hübsch und im Februar nicht zu stark von Touristen belagert.Es gibt viele kleine Restaurants und Bars. Die Wohnung ist praktisch und liebevoll ausgestattet, sehr sauber und wir wurden gut betreut.

Ideal para férias em família

A casa está muito bem localizada, a um passo do coração de Tavira, e com os electrodomésticos necessários para umas férias com os miúdos. O ar condicionado é um companheiro para os dias mais quentes e a varanda um espaço fabuloso para os jantares prolongados e para o convívio com os miúdos. Adorei a semana que passei em Tavira, durante a noite os passeios no centro da cidade são também agradáveis. A limpeza da casa é também irrepreensível. Espero voltar...

Eine schöne Wohnung

Insgesamt eine wirklich schöne Wohnung die ziemlich exakt der Beschreibung entsprach. Auch die Fotos geben die Situation schön wieder. Die Wohnung liegt zentral, ist aber dennoch ruhig. Durch die Lage im zwieten Obergeschoss hat man auf der Terrasse einen schönen Überblick über die Stadt. Die Wohnung verfügt über zwei Bäder, jedoch nur ein vollständiges Schlafzimmer. Darüber gibt es eine Art Kinderzimmer mit Schlafcouch. Die Küche ist vollständig ausgestattet, für unseren Geschmack alleridngs mit etwas zu viel Ikea und Plastik (dies ist Geschmackssache). Das große Wohnzimmer haben wir weniger genutzt, auch Zuhause bei uns spielt sich das Leben dann doch mehr in der Küche ab... Einzig die Situation im Eingangsbereich, die ein ebenerdiges Abstellen eines Kinderwagens/Buggys unmöglich machte (somit musste der KInderwagen einige Stufen getragen werden), war anders als uns gegenüber kommuniziert.
