Luxury Log Home, open concept living which is perfect for family gatherings.
4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms
Sleeps 12 including 4 queen beds, two queen and two full sleeper sofas available, 2 twin beds are also available in the partially finished basement. Two queen air mattress will be available for your use along with needed bedding.
Master bedroom furnished with beautiful Amish made furniture includes master en suite bathroom with jet tub, walk in shower and walk in closet.
Quality bedding, linens and towels provided throughout.
Fully appointed Gourmet kitchen, features granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances.
65’ television located in the loft area and a 75” television in the great room.
6 flat screens available throughout the house, Roku andwireless internet provided.
Large 32' X 12' deck surrounded by woods which includes a new flat top griddle, great for all meals, including breakfast,and a firepit.
Private dock located .2 of a mile from the house on beautiful Otter Lake which is one of 22 lakes on the Chain O' Lakes. It's an easy walk or you can drive there in 50 seconds.
The dock can be used for pontoon rental, which is available upon request, at a super great price, or for swimming.
Washer and dryer also available.
Personal Pontoon boat to rent upon request, at super competitive rates. I rent for $150 for the first day, and then $125 for each additional day. Seven day rental is $650. Boat orientation included.

Paul and his property manager Willie were great to work with. Very accommodating and addressed a few issues with the house immediately. Great layout! We were a little worried that the boat dock was a walk or drive away, but it worked out fine. Will definitely come back again in a heartbeat.

Communication with Paul (owner) and William (Property Manager) was excellent. Very friendly and knowledgeable with the lakes and area recommendations. The house was able to accommodate our large party of 10 well- with bedrooms and beds downstairs. We had lots of fun taking advantage of the pool table included downstairs, as well as the pontoon we were able to rent through the property. The deck and outdoor spaces were nice, and we were able to enjoy a fire with comfy chairs on the deck. We did notice some noise from the highway nearby when we were outside, but it was not an issue when indoors. The wood floors tend to echo throughout the house, but we were more than okay with it in order to experience the luxury log cabin feel. Overall it was a very nice property and we had a lovely time!

The lodge was perfect for our family getaway. Close amenity nearby, and great atmosphere all around. The place was very spacious and the outdoor as well! I would certainly recommend for anyone looking for a great getaway with a big family. I appreciate Paul for being a great host and William for helping out with the boat! Will definitely come back in the near future.

Pros:SpaciousCleanUpdated appliances, etc.Big DeckPlenty of seating inside and outClose to shoppingGarage space for one vehicle if neededgood communication from hostCons:Close to busy road, you will hear the trafficNot a lot of yard spaceVery Steep, rocky, backyard with no carved out path down to the fire pit (there is a deck fire pit, so not a big deal).There are some general maintenance things that should have been taken care of, especially since the house was supposed to have been inspected by a vrbo rep prior to our stay (according to property manager): multiple burnt out light bulbs. Both coffee makers didn't work properly. The sliding glass door from the dining room was very difficult to open and close, had to spend time cleaning the tracks just to make it somewhat manageable for the stronger people in the party to open, still very difficult. Basement TV was broken (screen cracked from pool balls I'm guessing). Loft pullout couch was broken so only could accommodate a child. Many broken or missing slats in the windows and some in the vertical blinds. These things should've been addressed but it appears as if they have been like that for some time.Keep in mind that the dock is about a 1/3 of a mile to walk, and it's all hill. We knew that coming in so I'm not docking anything for that, just want to remind people of this. Might be good to bring wagon, scooter, bike etc. to get items down to the boat/dock. Thank you for a great stay!

This is a lovely home. All the necessary amenities with a beautiful view at the edge of town. We enjoyed our stay and even extended it by a day. Paul and his property manager are both very kind and helpful people. They were able to answer any questions we had and were more than willing to accommodate our needs. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

The space was perfect for our extended family stay for a wedding nearby. The loft offered an excellent area for the kids to hang out and play. The kitchen was the perfect size for cooking meals and we appreciated sitting out on the deck each morning for coffee. Great host communication.

We enjoyed our week in Waupaca exploring the area. The home was very spacious and clean. We cruised the Chain of Lakes on the pontoon boat which ran well. We enjoyed kayaking and hiking in Hartman Creek State Park, just minutes away from the house.

We have four couples who all have anniversaries in the fall and we do annual trip. William the host called me three days before and day of arrival to answer any questions we had about the area and discuss pontoon rental. We did spend a day out on the lake with the pontoon which was a lot of fun. Home was very spacious and we all enjoyed the living room with a lot of seating so our group could all be together. It was a nice area.

Family long weekend

My sister and her family live close to this house, ice fishing, sledding, playing in the snow along with hanging out playing games and sharing meals together. Great house for visiting family and friends.

Family Vacation Getaway

Beautiful spacious home, had a wonderful time staying here with our family and boating on the Chain O Lakes. Everything you need is conveniently made available from the host, bedding, towels, etc. and a pretty well equipped kitchen made our stay more comfortable. Our whole family had an excellent time staying here in Waupaca.

Nice relaxing weekend with family, but I didn't realize that lake access wasn't attached to the house - my mistake for not asking specifically. Appreciated that we were able to bring our dog for a small additional fee.
