Villa 40 Clos de Vignes in La Mole in southern France is a fully equipped, air conditioned, two bedroom town house to accommodate five guests.1 double bedroom and 1 triple bedroom. The lovely properties on the complex are built in true Provencal style, set in landscaped gardens among the forests and vineyards of this picturesque region.Accommodation: Spacious, tastefully decorated lounge/dining area with French style furniture A full internet service and TV receiving BBC channels and a CD/DVD player is provided free of charge for your enjoyment. Bring along your favourite's for the rare times you will might be inside. Fully equipped kitchen, including fridge/freezer, dishwasher, fan oven, ceramic hob and washing machine. Downstairs wc. Two bedrooms with fitted wardrobes. Full bathroom with Shower. The property has a lovely patio area complete with patio furniture. On site is a Private residents outdoor swimming pool set amidst landscaped outdoor living space..

The Area:

Villa 40 Clos de Vignes on the Cote d'Azur, France is situated in the small village of La Mole just 14km from St Tropez and 12km from the nearest sandy beach, with an Aqua Park close by. La Mole is a small pretty village with three restaurants, including the renowned L'Auberge de La Mole, a boulangerie with bread baked from an old fashioned oven to give a lovely flavour and a small modern supermarket. Nearby in the town of Cogolin is a newly built LeClerc Hypermarket. Located on the edge of the mountains of Maures and facing the Gulf of St Tropez, nearby Cogolin is a welcoming place all year round. The 14th century clock tower, a vestige of the old fortified castle, overlooks the village, you can still see an ancient windmill. The St. Sauveur Church (early 15th c.) the St. Roch Chapel (17th and I9thc.), the vaulted passages, the houses with portals made of serpentine or volcanic rock are all witnesses of the long past of Cogolin. The lower village built around a cougoul (little hill) is typical with its wide airy streets. Across the Argens estuary the coast road continues past St Aygulf, Les Issambres, Ste Maxime and Port Grimaud at the foot of the Massif des Maures - home to wild tortoises and charming hill villages like Plan-de-la-Tour and La Garde-Freinet. These highlands hug the Golfe de St Tropez, sheltering its golden beaches. Offshore lies lovely Porquerolles, largest of the Iles d'Hyeres, accessible by boat from resorts like Cavalaire-sur-Mer, Le Lavandou and Hyeres. A car is essential at this property for full exploration of this fabulous region of South East France.

Location was top, big enough for four persons (two adults and two teens. All accomodations were present. We had a lot of good times at the pool, very clean and water temperature was just excellent.To conclude, we plan to rent it back in the upcoming years, which is the best review one can get in my opinion :D

Wonderful Family Vacation

The apartment is ideally situated in the Var region so within a couple hours to Provence, Cote D'Azure and the Luberon. The community-shared swimming pool is large, clean and ideal for families with kids, but with many rules and limited hours so be sure to follow accordingly. The apartment is clean, charming, and fully-equipped. The Internet was strong downstairs, but a bit spotty upstairs. The AC saved us during the month of August. The village is absolutely wonderful. "Le Cafe" is ideal for an aperitif, the Bistro Gourmand is delicious and perfect for families, and the Auberge is the quintessential french goumet experience, so a robust appetite is a must. The locals are extremely kind and welcoming. Our kids could freely roam, discover, whilst practicing their French in the grocery or boulangerie. The village is nestled among vineyards and greenery, quiet, and perfect for young families, retirees, etc. The proximity to St. Tropez makes for a good day trip, but the daily traffic in August can be daunting. There are numerous wineries, beaches, and medieval villages surrounding La Mole, so we had something to do or see all thirty days of our adventure. We visited nearly every beach in the Var and our favorite was Pampelonne near La Sirena so away from the craziness. The water is clear, there is ample beach space, and if you arrive by 10:00 am, there is no problem for parking. Other beaches require hiking, parking difficulties, and the water is not as clear and blue. We would absolutely return to La Mole, and we truly enjoyed our stay at this provencale haven. We thank our hosts who were most gracious, helpful, and accommodating, and we thank La Mole for its incredible hospitality and beauty. We would recommend for all. Adam & Megan (Canada/US)

Casa muy funcional, situada en una bonita urbanización con piscina, con todo lo necesario para unas buenas vacaciones. La ubicación es perfecta para conocer la zona, a 30 minutos de todos los puntos de interés. Destacar que las sábanas y las toallas no están incluidas en el precio, que es de 60€ para 3 personas. A nuestro parecer un poco caro.

la maison est située au village de la môle. VIllage très calme . on est assez loin des plages mais ce n'est pas un problème pour nous. maison très fonctionnelle et entièrement equipée. la climatisation est un plus et la terrasse vraiment bien. la piscine est accessible à 2 mn à pieds. que dire: de très bonnes vacances. Merci à la propriétaire qui nous a aiguillé pour accéder a la maison.

Schönes Ferienhaus in einer Wohnanlage mit Pool. Ausstattung im Haus gut. Die Betten im Kinderzimmer sind neu und sehr bequem. Die Lage ist gut, man braucht zu allen Stränden der Umgebung ca. 30 Minuten. Im Ort gibt es einen kleinen Laden, der das nötigste führt. Es gibt auch eine Terrasse zum draußen zu essen/ sitzen, leider kein Grill.

Logement agréable, situé au calme dans le petit village charmant de la Mole. Loin du tumulte de la côte mais accessible pour en profiter. Nous avons hélas subi les incendies monstreux qui ont touché la région et avons été bloqués 2 jours. Les propriétaires ont été compréhensifs de notre départ en catastrophe profitant de l’ouverture des routes pour quelques heures. Merci à vous, malgré cette terrible expérience nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison. Au plaisir

The house is located in a very nice area surrounded by plenty of vineyards. There are also various beaches in 20-30 minutes' drive. The surroundings are great, wherever you go. The house was very clean with all the equipment you need. We loved the big terrasse to have breakfast every morning and some relaxing moments in the evening. Parking was no problem. Access to the swimming pool was easy. Communication with the owner was excellent. They were very helpful regarding all information we needed. We stood there for 1 week, had a great time, and would come back again at any time.

bien situé et au calme. Duplex agréable et spacieux. Nicole est disponible et agréable. La piscine est également bien située. Très grande. Pas trop fréquentée. A 20 min en voiture de Cogolin mais a pied vous avez un spar et une boulangerie a proximité. Nous avons passé un séjour agréable et reposant!

Nous avons passé d’agréables vacances à la Môle dans ce logement, Convient aux enfants, piscine à 3 min à pieds dans la résidence, petite maison très calme. Petit bémol pour le réfrigérateur qui a eu du mal à se refroidir et nous n’avions pas eu le code pour l’arrivée. La gérante est disponible et flexible sur les horaires, a pu s’arranger pour s’adapter à nous, merci

Nous avons passé Dix agréables jours, avons profité de la nature environnante et de l’accès à la piscine proche du logement (2 minutes à pied). Nous avons également apprécié la climatisation du logement avec ces températures élevées . Seul bémol, les locataires précédents nous avaient laissé quelques surprises sous les lits. Mon appréciation générale est donc positive.

Very well equiped and cosy typical villa

Thanks a lot for this very nice stay next to the Lavandou, that we enjoyed very much. No doubt we highly recommend it. We had never enjoyed such a level of equipment before for a vacation stay. Congratulations! As we are asked for suggestions, here would be ours. In particular, it would be helpful to improve the arrival process and show essentials on arrival because they may be lost among lot of leaflets and tourist litterature and are more useful than tips on surroundings: - provide a map to easily locate the villa as "Allée des Lavandes" is not referenced in GPS, way easier than written litterature - show how to lock the door as it is very hard to handle - explain where the swimming pool is located - display the wifi code - provide a small quantity of toilet paper until we may go shopping... - explain that the only remote control works on all air conditioning splits - fix hard the parents room wooden bedspring (for us, it was totally set apart and we spent 3 bad nights until we had a look and set it up back) - provide a small electrical barbecue Apart from these small but important aspects, everything else seemed absolutely excellent and very comfortable to us. Thanks a lot!

Superbe séjour à la Mole

La maison d Angela est très agréable à vivre, très bien équipée, avec une grande terrasse où nous avions toujours de l ombre. Nous avons profité tous les soirs de la piscine. Le quartier est très calme ce qui nous a permis de bien nous reposer. De plus, le village de la Mole est très bien situé et nous avons pu aller sans difficulté à St Tropez, Bormes les mimosas. Nous avons aussi fait la visite guidée des jardins de Rayol : génial ! Nous recommandons vivement la location d Angela.

Pretty Provencal House in perfect location

Superb little house in a very pretty residential location. The house was well equipped and suited our little family perfectly. (2 young boys) The pool was lovely and just a short walk around the corner. The outside terrace was well equipped with table and chairs and recliners and made for a very pleasant seating area once the heat of the day had passed. The house was extremely clean and well maintained thanks to Nichola and her team who couldn't have been more friendly or helpful and were there if we needed anything. The location of the house is in a quiet and peaceful village with amenities such as a Spa and wonderful bakery within a 5 minute walk. The location is within a beautiful region of France and we drove to a different beach every time - we only wish we'd had longer to keep discovering new gems and revisit some of our favourite beaches. We made a few trips including the obligatory St Tropez and Port Grimaud (a short drive away) We landed and departed at Toulon airport and this also helped make this one of our best holidays yet. It was so quiet and within about 35-40 minutes distance from the town with no city traffic to add to the stress of travelling. The owners were fantastic and were available to answer any questions before we left and whilst we were there kindly checking if everything was ok. The information Angela provided with regard to recommended places to visit and eat, was second to none and proved invaluable when new to the area. Thank you for letting us rent your home and enabling us to have a wonderful family holiday. We highly recommend this property and the region is rich with so much to see and do. We were there for 10 days and it was still not long enough. It wasn't easy returning home - we'd definately love to come back but for longer next time!

What makes this property unique

The ambience of this lovely Provencal village has been our reason for coming back to it year on year since 1998. So much so that when one of the local vineyards was vacated for house building we were among the first to choose our plot and signed up in 2006.
