Apartment Ela is a great value one bedroom apartment in an truly beautiful position above Dovje - one of Slovenia's sunniest and most beautiful alpine villages just 15 km from Kranjska Gora, Slovenia’s best known mountain resort. The apartment offers comfortable mid range accommodation and a garden with stunning views of the Julian Alps and is in walking distance of the charming authentic alpine villages of Dovje & Mojstrana. It area offers great access from the village to the Triglav National Park and the mountains of the north Karavanke range, all of which the friendly owner who was a former Mountain Guide can help you to get the best out of. It is just 15km (10 minutes drive) from the popular mountain / ski resort of Kranjska Gora and 20 minutes drive to world famous Lake Bled.

This lovely 1 bedroom apartment has its home under a larger family home in an enchanting village. With its own entrance you are removed from the daily activities of the very friendly owners (one of whom is a former mountain guide), yet close enough to engage in friendly banter. Modestly appointed, it is still well equipped to provide for a most enjoyable stay amongst such beautiful surrounds. The single bedroom provides space for 2 in a double bed. Open plan living / dining / kitchen area also has a double sofa bed. There is a 2 ring hob, fridge with freezer compartment, crockery, cutlery and other cooking utensils in the kitchen. A small table and 4 chairs allow for ample dining space. The bathroom offers a shower, toilet, hand basin and hair dryer. There is a storage area to stow bicycles and skis. On the outside terrace you will find a table, 4 chairs and a parasol to shade you while you soak up the view. A large garden area is also available for use as is the BBQ. The scenery here is nothing short of amazing.

Great spot in the Julian Alps

We were welcomed very warmly with homemade Strudel and a drink. The Hosts, a very friendly and generous slovenian family were very helpful and easy to talk to. There is everything you need in between hikes in the appartement. If you like a view of the mountains with your breakfast, this is perfect. Also you will be in a small village which is not touristy at all which we loved to really wind down. Thank you so much, I am sure we will be back :)

Beautiful area, VERY narrow streets

The surroundings are gorgeous. The apartment is excellent. One issue: When we arrived, Google maps took us through the the first entrace to Dovje, coming from Zagreb. However, the landmarks provided in the property description appear when you enter through the second entrance on the right, where if you turn left, you get to Mostrajna. We spent some time lost in Dovje, as a result, and as we finally got on the right track, we met our hosts, who in their goodness, got out of bed late at night to look for us. The streets in Dovje are very narrow, which provides much charm to the town, but also means that someone has to back out, when two cars converge. All in all, we are grateful to our hosts for their hospitality.

Die Wohnung ist für 2-3 Personen absolut ausreichend. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und unseren Aufenthalt genossen!Achtung bei der Anfahrt - die Gassen im Ort sind entsprechend eng :p

Rundum toller Aufenthalt

Das Apartment ist sehr gemütlich und gut ausgestattet. Trotz der recht kleinen Wohnfläche ist es nicht beengt und gut geschnitten. Die Gastgeberin & ihre Familie waren super lieb und bei der Kommunikation, sowie An-/Abreise hat alles einwandfrei funktioniert.

Net en basic 2 kamer appartement

Mooie locatie aan de rand van een rustig dorp. Keukenblok met waterkoker, kookplaat en koelkast, geen oven/magnetron en koffiezetapparaat. Slaapkamer met grote kast en een fijn bed. De badkamer is klein, douchen is een uitdaging als je 1,96m bent. De verhuurders zijn bijzonder vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Bijna geen wifi in het appartement, moesten we voor naar buiten. Prachtig gebied om te wandelen.

Schöne Gegend

Die Unterkunft war genau wie auf den Fotos. Auf den Fotos kommt es allerdings größer rüber. Die Dusche hätte etwas größer sein können, aber im großen und ganzen für 2 Personen die perfekte Wohnung.Das Einchecken war sehr unkompliziert. Die Dame war sehr freundlich und hat uns gleich was zu trinken angeboten. Die Gegend ist sehr schön, vor allem die ganzen Wasserfälle und die Wanderungen dort hin, waren toll. Der Bleder See ist auch einen Ausflug wert. Nur die Burg mit seinem neumodernen Museum hat uns gar nicht gefallen. Ich würde die Wohnung weiterempfehlen.

A small aparment, but with all comfort you need. The hosts are very friendly and helpfull. Very quiet, and the view from the garden is wonderfull. Dovje is a very good base to discover the region.

In The Heart of the Julian Alps

Located at the end of a residential road in the village of Dovje, this well-furnished one-bedroom apartment has a mountain landscape directly behind. Dovje is just opposite the larger village of Mojstrana (nearest grocery store) below Mount Triglav and is a good base for exploring the popular resort of Kranjska Gora, scenic Lake Bled and the Julian Alps. The charming owners live seasonally in the adjoining building and were on hand to greet us upon arrival with a shot of local liqueur and a plate of freshly-baked homemade cookies. The apartment is comfortable and cozy, includes parking and Wi-Fi, with a small shower...the only downside were the very small towels in the bathroom.
