Stylish three-bedroom maisonette in Chiswick Village

Upham Park Road is a delightful tree-lined road moments away from Chiswick High Road and Turnham Green Terrace. The spacious apartment is situated on the first and second floors of an old Victorian town house, with high ceilings and contemporary furnishings. (Available for LONGER LETS at Kensington Property Management)

On the first floor there is a spacious, fully-equipped kitchen with seating for six, and a comfortable living room with deep sofas, and a seagrass carpet. There are three light and airy bedrooms; one king sized double room; one twin room; and a further single room. There are two new modern bathrooms, one with bath and shower; and another bathroom with shower.

There is a widescreen TV in the sitting room with all the Freeview channels, an iPod docking station and free Wi-Fi broadband access. The property is cleaned weekly, and there is a washing machine available. Towels and bed linen is provided.

You will be right next to Chiswick Common, a leafy playground for children, and the world famous Kew Gardens are also nearby. Turnham Green is a paradise of independent boutiques, offbeat stores and cafes. Chiswick High Road is also flanked with many a fine pub and restaurant – sample some stunning homemade ice cream, grab a pizza or dine in style at Michelin starred La Trompette. If you fancy a stroll, walk to the Thames (10 minutes) and watch rowing boats glide across river while you sup a pint in one of the waterside pubs, or have a wander around the Palladian splendour of nearby Chiswick House. If you want to head into town, the tube from Turnham Green to Green Park or Piccadilly Circus takes only twenty minutes. A taxi ride to trendy Notting Hill will take around 15 minutes.

Chiswick is one of London's most desirable suburbs, and is home to actors Hugh Grant, Helen Mirren and Colin Firth. The Turnham Green underground station is a two-minute walk away from the apartment, and is just 25 minutes from Heathrow station on the fast train, and less than half an hour from the West End.

Was a great place to stay right outside of central London.

This is a great place to stay! It’s a quick and easy tube ride to central London. The walk to the tube was easy and quick. Chiswick is charming and has great places to eat. The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed and more. Definitely recommend if you are looking to stay in a quaint and quiet Neighborhood.

Very nice spot!

The host was very nice and helpful. The home has everything you will need. There are plenty of restaurants down the block. The train is a 5 minute walk from the home. We enjoyed our stay!

Great London Experience

Perfect home base for our Holiday in London. Flat was clean and as described in the listing. Tom responded quickly to questions we had and was a very gracious host.

Convenient location near tube. Overall OK with home. Issue with furniture cleanliness and lack of noice insulation for suite below made it u comfortable to watch TV, music of talk.

5-day family travel to London

Really good, spacious flat for a family of five. Neighbourhood was nice, located close to tube station and a grocery store. Conveniently between central London and Heathrow. Definitely no complaints. The only one inprovement idea is: it would be nice to have some more cutlery, especially tea spoons.

Great location and home base!

Awesome location for first time travelers.

This was our first time traveling to England and using HomeAway. Both experiences were awesome. The apartment was in a perfect location to pubs, grocery stores and shopping. A quick walk and you were at the Turnham Green tube station for a very easy commute to London. Make sure you buy an Oyster card! The apartment itself was clean and comfortable and perfect for our stay. Liz, Hugo and Tom were very responsive to all our questions. Thank you again!

Tres bon séjour dans une maison typique et calme dans le grand Londres.

Belle propriété confortable dans une rue très calme et à quelques mètres des rues animées avec boutiques et restaurants. Malgré la distance du centre de Londres ( 30 a 40 minutes, il est très facile de s'y rendre en métro ou en bus car les stations sont très proches à pied. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le confort du logement , ses deux salles de bain et la literie des trois chambres. Nous etions 5 adultes. L'arrivée et le départ se sont déroulés sans difficulté grâce aux indications de Tom qui est facilement joignable par téléphone Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Chiswick. A noter : Il ne restait qu'une petite cuillère . Et la porte de la salle de bain à l'etage etait difficile à fermer !

Cute 3bd/2ba flat in Chiswick

We enjoyed our stay at this quaint clean apartment. All was as advertised and we had excellent communication with owners and their agent. The two floors are one and two levels above the street and stairs are narrow but you’ll do fine if you pack lighter than we do! The neighborhood is nice and there are a number of restaurants and shops within a 5/10 min walk. Sainsbury’s Local market right around the corner (a small but well stocked convenience store). We recommend Kalamari Greek restaurant. So in short it’s everything we wanted except it was about 40 min from central London by either taxi or tube. If I ever visited Chiswick again I would definitely stay there.

traditional london flat

nice quiet area close to the District line and bus lines. West London means that you are 20 +/- minutes to central london on the tube. Great walkability in that there is a wide variety of restaurants, shops, pubs and markets walking distance from the flat. Felt safe walking early morning or late at night. The cushions on the couches in the living room could be replaced, and a microwave in the kitchen would be a plus. Plenty of space for a couple and their two adult kids (3rd bedroom is very small, but is its own room). Overall would stay here again.

Quaint community, close to trains and lovely home. Just what we were looking for.

Our stay in London was wonderful thanks in no small part to this cute home in Cheswick. It is close to the train stop, near a 24 hour grocery and many restaurants. Our family of 5 found it to have plenty of space. The warm water was a little wonky but worked once we figured it out (don't turn off the shower until everyone has finished, otherwise we could not get anymore warm water) and bring your own washcloths and hand towels as none were provided. Otherwise, could not ask for more. Thank you for providing such a lovely place for our family to enjoy all that London has to offer.
