Family friendly, Timber frame home

Begbie House is a beautiful timber frame house situated on 3.5 acres of private mountain woodland, with breathtaking views of glacier topped Mt. Begbie. The home is located adjacent to incredible mountain bike and lit Nordic ski trails for some night-time cross country skiing., and only minutes away from world class downhill skiing, snow boarding and snowmobile areas. The modern, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, outdoor hot tub, wood stove on main floor, pellet stove on ground floor (c/w ski boot dryers & ski gear drying rack), fooseball table on ground floor, and large televisions will help you relax after a great day outdoors. The large timber frame structure, with it's mix of unique joinery and custom iron work, make this house the ultimate warm and cozy vacation experience! We recently added an extra futon couch in the basement master bedroom, which can be turned into an 8th, separate bed. PLEASE NOTE: the maximum occupancy is 8 people, as per our Vacation Rental Permit. (no exceptions)

Amazing Stay

Very possibly the best AIR BNB/ VRBO I have ever stayed in. Fabulous views, great hot tub, very spacious. Comfortably slept 8 in individual beds. The host was fantastic and available whenever we needed, but we didn't see them unless we called. Thank you, and I will stay again!

Family Ski Holiday

The Begbie House was the perfect place for our Revelstoke Family Ski Holiday. Only 15 min to the hill, and less than 10 min to downtown, yet in a quiet area in the forest. This 5 bedroom home has everything you need for your perfect family gathering.

Wonderful stay in Revelstoke

This is a very large cabin that is close to Revelstoke. It looks even better than photos and is very well stocked and functional for a multi family vacation. Communication with the owner was pleasant and easy. The hot tub was well maintained. Not much I can think of could be improved, I would highly recommend you book this place and stay here if you have a larger group.

Ideal luxury winter hideaway!!

Begbie House was the ideal location for our ski vacation - easy access for touring to the fingers, and just a few minutes' drive to downtown and the hill. The house had plenty of space for 7 of us, and was cozy and luxurious at the same time. Scott and Michelle made everything easy for the duration of the stay. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Revelstoke Mountain Getaway

This place was authentic and fully functional for a group ski get away. Scott was so helpful and responsive, he met us at check in to orient us to the chalet and checked in to ensure everything was available. The view from the hot tub is true mountain country. Thank you Scott we will be back.

Remarkable, beautiful home. Perfect for the area

We came to ski and the home was a perfect respite when we came down from the slopes. It is a beautiful, natural beam construction with high ceilings and open space. Great areas and furniture for dining, relaxing and games. Good deck and location for grilling even in the winter. Great hot tub convenient to enter and enjoy. Owners were very welcoming, helpful and attentive.

Fabulous!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Begbie House. The place is even better than pictures on website. The kitchen was well stocked and there were lots of games and movies to enjoy. The view from the upper deck is breathtaking and we very much enjoyed hanging out around the fire pit! Scott and Michelle are amazing hosts offering a warm welcome on arrival. This is definitely a place we would recommend and we will be back!

Great home in a perfect setting run by extremely professional homeowners

The house was perfect. Comfortable beds with nice linens. Great towels for the bathrooms and hot tub. Very well equipped kitchen. Quiet setting just a short drive to town or the mountain. Revelstoke is big mountain skiing and will satisfy beginners up to expert. Great homeowners to deal with. Our group is hoping to come back for another trip.

Great place

The house in conveniently located 10 minutes from town and 20 minutes from the ski hill. We came with 7 guys that each got their own bed. There are 4 separate bedrooms and three full baths. The house was well equipped with everything anyone could need to enjoy their stay. The owners live nearby and are very helpful and friendly. We all loved the place and would highly recommend it for large groups, friends or family.

Great stay at the Begbie House

We had an awesome stay at the Begbie House. Scott was great to deal with, it was easy to get in touch with him and he was quick to respond. He made sure we had everything we needed and really made an effort to ensure the place was prepped and ready for our stay. The house and property were beautiful. The place is even larger and nicer than the photos show. Would definitely recommend the place for a visit in any season, though it looks particularly primed as a sweet rental during the ski season.

Beautiful home in a beautiful spot

We rented the house for a mountain biking weekend in August. The house was immaculate with everything we needed for our stay. Michelle & Scott provided a wonderful welcome basket and even some bug spray and water toys for our young son. The house is very close to the MacPherson trail network so we could ride direct to the trails from the house. We would not hesitate to recommend this vacation home and are looking forward to coming back in the future.

Excellent property!

This was our second year in a row renting Begbie House and it was excellent again. We were a group of 8 guys and it was great that everyone had their own bed. The kitchen is very well equipped, the new bbq works very well, it has lots of big TV's and the hot tub is great. Scott and Michelle provide an extremely high level of service and it's very much appreciated. The only suggestion for improvement is that the place really could use a faster wifi connection as it can be a bit cumbersome. Other than that we only have positive things to say and we will definitely be back in the future. Thanks again for a great stay!

Ideal mountain home

Our stay at the Begbie house was wonderful. The house itself is so beautiful with interesting decor details, and so many rooms and beds so that our two families (8 people total) could spread out when we wanted to but lots of togetherness hang out spots too. We had a week of fantastic skiing and the home has a great set up for drying out ski gear at the end of the day. A well-stocked and comfy kitchen too. Scott was the best host- so friendly and helpful. He gave us lots of great tips of fun things to do, was quick to respond to any questions/concerns, and very helpful when we had difficult flight cancellation issues. It snowed almost every day that we were there and Scott kept the driveway clear for us. The kids loved having the hot tub and the snowy yard to play in after a day on the slopes. Yes, this house is a bit further from the ski resort but the comfort and atmosphere made it well worth it. Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay Begbie House!

Not enough great things to say about our stay at Begbie House! The property/house was meticulously clean. The layout of the house was perfect for our big group. The large basement area for our ski gear was perfect. Of course, the hot tub over looking the mountains was just icing on top! So amazing. The only slight downfall is the location of Begbie House...it is a bit far out from town/Revelstoke mountain, but totally fine if you are already planning to drive. Just made it a bit tricky to get into town. Scott graciously offered to drive us into town for dinner one night but it just didn't work out. We were in total awe this first morning waking up looking out at the mountains. It is an amazing property. We can't wait to come back! Thank you Scott & Michelle for being such hosts!

Incredible cozy house

We stayed in Begbie House in 2018 for around a week. The house was ideal for a large group of us. It's well laid out, cozy, contains great amenities and was an all-round joy to stay in. Half of our group skied the hill, which was about 14 minutes away. The other half were heli-skiing, and the house is near several of the operations. Town was around seven minutes away (in heavy snow). For me, I must preferred being just out of town. We had our own space, a very large pad and wonderful views (including from the hot tub). Just a word about the owners - they really lovely and very helpful - adjusted the hot tub to our requirements and even cleared the snow off our very large driveway. This was my second trip to Revelstoke, but the first to this property. If they will have me back, I'm going to stay again :).

Amazing property

We had an amazing time staying at the Begbie house and I highly recommend it to everyone. It over delivered. Scott and Michelle were excellent hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. Communication with them was very good and timely. The space was very conducive for the eight of us guys to hang out in the main room watching TV and having big family style dinners while also allowing us to all have our own beds. The kitchen was appointed with very high end equipment including a good bbq which made cooking easy. The hot tub was clean and well maintained with an excellent private view. All of the bathrooms were updated, clean and had more than enough towels. There is plenty of parking space and the ski equipment drying room worked out really well. Thanks guys for helping us have an outstanding trip and we will be back. Thanks, Dave & crew
